These people are the best! Friendly and professional and reasonably priced. I've taken my Specialized Roubaix to them for a couple of repairs and they didn't try to rip me off like some shops do. This is a great local bike shop who is owned by Keith and his lovely family (and very friendly golden retriever, Hudson!). I have gone in to the shop multiple times, sometimes for a quick tweak (which I am never charged for) and this week I had a larger issue fixed. Rented 2 bikes from Mr. C's for the week of April 1-8th 2023 while staying in Garden City on the beach. Great service and very friendly owners. Bikes looked brand new! The day we were leaving it was pouring rain, so we called and they came and picked them up for us. Will definitely rent from them again when we return next Spring! read more

Took a bike in for repair. Still the problem, so I took it back. Now a new problem upon getting it back. They don't get three strikes.

They are on the other side of 17 from the coastline and don't deliver, so its a slightly dangerous feat to get the bikes back to the coastline side if you have kids and didn't bring a truck to haul them back. They did honor their yelp offer and they are affordable bikes in decent shape--perfect for our purposes. Owner was accommodating & pleasant. $15 a day per bike, add ons cost $1 each, lock, basket, helmet. read more

Prices were fair, location was good (just blocks from Surfside Beach). But selection of bikes didn't seem to be great. I got stuck with a bike with a tiny seat that would barely fit the butt of a pre-teen girl, let alone one of a grown 6'0" 200 lb man, which I am! Ended up with a sore rear end....but my family loved it and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. read more

Went into the store needing a medium sized mountain bike. They tried to sell me a used large bike then a large new carbon fiber bike way over my budget. I've looked up Specialized bikes sense then and found plenty at the price and size I need. They just kept trying to get rid of their crap with bad old geometry. Ended up buying a mix XC/trail Fuji for 200 under budget that performs better than similar specialized bikes I've tried. Prices are unreasonable, service is not knowledgeable, and trying to bring a Non-specialized into the store for accessories and setup adjustment made them act rude. By the way fuji and specialized are 2 different brands but both bikes used a Rockshox Ario R rear shock, and you couldn't /wouldn't adjust the pressure. Every time I've been in the store I've been willing to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars. They lost my business because I need a professional not someone trying to get rid of stuff. If u don't know anything about bikes go here. If you are a novice or better rider looking for a quality bike don't waste your time. And BTW I never thought Fuji would make such a great All Mountain bike for a great price. I've always been a Cannondale, Specialized, Trek, Giant rider.
