Over the last 3 months I've been to acupuncture, multiple chiropractors and massage therapists for shoulder and neck pain, as well as some pretty severe (at least to me) TMJ. As many massage places as there are in LA, I always found that the choices range from one extreme to another - either the strip mall cheaper massages where you get what you pay for to luxury 5 star hotel spas where one massage experience, as amazing as it is, costs $250+. This review is a long time in coming. I have been to dozens of massage parlors in LA over the years looking for someplace good. Finally, about a year ago I came across Myo Evolution and Angie. HANDS DOWN THE BEST MASSAGE THERAPIST IN LA!!! Unlike a lot of other massage therapists Angie knows what she is doing. She can tell just by feeling where your body is tight or knotted. She doesn't just run you through the same routine as every other customer, the massage is tailored to you, on that day, and the areas you want to focus on. I started going to Angie when I was preparing for a bodybuilding show and working out 3-4 hours a day almost every day and needed relief for the tight muscles. I prefer a stronger massage and she has no problem applying the correct amount of pressure, enough to get deep into the muscle but never too much so that it hurts or is uncomfortable. She is very adept at maneuvering your body so as to get the muscles from all angles to really work the kinks out. Angie is a very nice and friendly person who will go out of her way to accommodate her clients and really tries to form a personal relationship with each client. She is also always ready to provide helpful tips on stretches or exercises you can do on your own to relieve tightness in your muscles. Can't recommend Myo Evolution and Angie enough. read more

I had an inexplicable arm injury and I wasn't able to lift more than 2 lbs with it. After 2 months with a highly recommended chiro, xrays, and MRI later with no progress, I decided to give Angie a try. She is very intuitive and after I explained that it felt as if my arm was twisted in the wrong way semi-permanently, she gave me a knowing nod and got to work. After just two sessions with her, I could move my arm without pain again and it started feeling stronger again. I'm able to lift 5lbs now and almost 8 without trembling too badly. I look forward to a few more sessions with her and getting my arm back to normal without relying on machinery from a chiro that wasn't working anyways. She is warm, an instant friend, and I love her incorporation of CBD. Her massages are not for relaxing but restoration and the CBD helps to alleviate the hard work that must be done to achieve actual results. I am a pretty busy person, I work hard and I workout often so that and the stress of daily life takes a toll on my body, thus self care is important to me.
