I deal with chronic back pain, scoliosis, and lingering body pain from breast cancer treatment and my DMX, and Diane has helped with pain management more than anything else I've tried. I get massages a lot and had never tried Squeeze before. My friend got me a gift card for my birthday, and I was so excited to finally try it out. I had Tigran and he was absolutely incredible! I'm a fitness instructor and teach over 15 hours of classes a week, so I'm constantly sore. He was super intuitive and knew exactly where I needed work. Such an amazing experience. This was my first time visiting a massage spot in LA and it was a lovely experience. I arrived a bit early which was good as the receptionist showed me around. The waiting area is really nice and has a hydration station with water and tea. They have free wifi too as you wait. While waiting they have 4 aromatherapy scents to choose from and all are lovely, I went with the bergamot scent as it wasn't too strong but smelled nice. My massage therapist was Kevin. He asked about any problem areas and focused on those areas while also giving a full body massage. It was really nice! I almost fell asleep at one point. Before the massage you do get to choose whichever music you would like and I chose a zen sound track. They used a giant heating pad which was so nice on my back and was partly why I almost fell asleep. Everything is seamless using their website - making reservation, checking and checking out. But minus one (-1) star because their app is only in the Apply Store; no Android app which made me sad =(. This was our first time here. Walking in, Val politely greeted us and gave us a nice tour of the facility. I was treating my friend to a massage, so I was just going to drop her off and return, however Val made sure to mention that I was welcome to enjoy their lovely waiting area while waiting. There was complimentary tea in the waiting area, which was absolutely delicious! The music was very relaxing, and it made my waiting time enjoyable and the time passed very quickly. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her massage. She loved the heated table and that she got to choose her room aroma and music. I used to love this place and I've been a member since they opened. Almost every time I have an appointment set (that I schedule at least a month out) they call me to cancel or ask I move my appointment time to accommodate them. The first several times I let it go, but I've had enough. Today as I was on my way out the door to my appointment they called to say my masseuse needed to cancel because he wasn't feeling well. Their solve was a masseuse I do not like at a new time 2 1/2 hours later. As if my day is just kept open for them. The receptionist then tried to find a solve and kept me on hold for awhile - and this solve was keeping the sick masseuse around but he would wear a mask. That is so inappropriate. 1. Don't put it on the customer to keep someone feeling ill around instead of letting them rest. 2. Masks aren't 100% safe. I am appalled they offered that as a solution. The receptionist the told me don't worry, they will cancel my appointment and refund me my paid amount - the massage THEY cancelled. That was the final straw. I'm done with Squeeze. read more

Squeeze Scam to Squeeze More Money Out Of You. I have 2 GIft Certificates to Squeeze for $250. I can't seem to make an appointment on line so I went to Studio city. They have $250 now. I was told that I can't make an appointment (even though they have $250) until I give them my credit card and they must charge the card and eventually pay me back so they they'll have $379 for one massage until they decide to reverse the charge. Sounds like they want to "squeeze " me. Also, I was told, this way they can charge me a tip. Doesn't a consumer have control of how much they want to tip. Why take money for a Gift Certificate if you intend to also charge the person who received it. Embarrassed to tell the kind person who gave it to me that they have been scammed. read more

Squeeze is my go-to massage place in LA! I don't even live in the Valley and I make it a point to drive here. I've always had amazing massages and I love that everything is customized to you through their app -- you determine the pressure, where you want to focus, etc. I also like that you can read bios of each therapist so you really can choose one who will give you the best massage for YOU. I've gotten everything from relaxing Swedish massages to intense trigger point therapy here and each time has been incredible. One note: Parking can be a bit challenging since it's on Ventura. They do have a few spots in back, and if you're lucky you can also find a free spot on a side street. But during the day it's pretty busy! read more

Considering it's a pandemic I've tried to be generous to most businesses who have failed my expectations in the past year. But I have to say something about Squeeze (which is a new concept from the owners of Drybar, if you didn't know). It was probably the worst massage experience I've ever had, and I've had a massage about 1x monthly since I can remember. I'm truly shocked at the 5* reviews...so I'm hoping mine was a one off. I've been looking forward to getting a 90 minute massage for a few days. The morning of my massage (2-3 hours before I was supposed to go in), I get a text message that my therapist wasn't coming in anymore, my massage was cancelled, and I would be refunded. What?! For a first-time guest, that put an extremely bad taste in my mouth. So unprofessional. However...I went onto their website and saw they had one more appointment available a few hours later, so I took it. No matter that it charged me an extra $50 to book, despite them telling me they had refunded the cost of the massage to my account. Anyway, when I got there they told me all of the price differences would be taken care of and it was just a technical error, fine, whatever. When I arrive, they made me stand outside while I waited for my therapist. They also asked me to keep my mask on during the entire massage, even while face down. It's a pandemic - okay fine. 1 point for COVID consciousness. Let me just say, I get a massage both for the relief it provides me but also for the ambiance. This place has none. Somehow they took a lovely spa experience and made it clinical. You have to choose everything from the lights to the music to the temperature - when I go to a spa I don't want to make decisions. I want to relax. Besides the fact that they asked these questions both online when I booked and while in the massage room...okay, fine. Some people might like this. I don't even like the blue and white theme they have going on. Now finally...the massage. It was also one of the worst massages I've ever had. The guy was young and I know he was trying his best so I'm not going to mention his name, but he was not good. I wrote firm pressure / deep tissue as my request and I barely felt his touch. When he finished - after 50 minutes, not the 90 I thought I was going in for - I was actually so relieved I didn't say anything about the time (they told me later I'd actually re signed up for a 60 minute, so, okay, whatever). All in all, it was so bad that I drove down the street to Sparadise where the massages are 10x better and 1/2 the cost and had another 60 minute right after. I kid you not. The only saving grace was that I received this massage as a gift from a friend so really it was her money that was wasted, just my time. I would not recommend Squeeze and would not even go back if they offered a free massage. I sincerely hope that as the pandemic winds down they are able to improve their services. read more

Being on the drybar emailing list, I received a message from Squeeze about their upcoming opening. Completely out of the loop, I had no idea this concept was in the works so needless to say, I was looking forward to checking them out. While in Studio City the other week, I encountered two nice people who gave me a tour of the facility. Due to this positive first experience, I knew I would be back for a treatment real soon. Their website is user-friendly and it helps they have bios on their therapists, but even with this information, you're taking a shot in the dark. Since I'm lazy, I tend to go by alphabetical order so if your name starts with A-B-C, chances are I'm picking you. Clinton had some great reviews so I felt this was the right choice. I arrived earlier than expected for my 4:30p 50-minute session since I didn't want to worry about parking. The helpful note on my appointment said there is parking available, but I didn't want to take a chance during that time of day. Happy to say I was fortunate to grab a spot right in the back (see attached photo) but as a back up, there is some daytime neighborhood parking on surrounding streets Laurelgrove and Rhodes (read the signs). When I was looking for the door, a blonde lady was leaving with a LOT of cute little blue bags, and she was so kind to hold the door for me (when I should have done it for her since her hands were full). Second impression was also a good one! Once inside, there are signs directing you to the front to check-in, and to sign their digital in-take form. From there, I was taken into the waiting area with comfortable chairs, fruity water, hot tea and almonds (no jelly beans today). I found the space fairly peaceful, done in a vivid shade of sky blue and gray. After I selected my lavender-based aromatherapy (Sleep-good), Clinton was able to take me earlier which was great, and from there he did a thorough review of my preferences as we sat in the treatment room. I appreciated him going over what I had already filled out online, in addition to doing all the lighting (pretty dim), music (chose Vibes today) and temperature settings on the wall-mounted screen for me since I'm tech-challenged (it's actually fairly simple). Once I hit the very convenient 'Ready' button within reach underneath the table, a green light within my eyeline indicated this was working. Not one who easily relaxes, I was able to do so for the next hour. I was pleased to have a therapist who did what I wanted, not one who did 'what he thought I needed.' What stood out for me was I'm used to having my back worked on the most, but he was a master at legwork. Sure I've had my legs massaged but not like this. Definitely something I recommend! Afterwards, he led me back out to the lounge where you are not rushed to leave which I am grateful for, in addition to providing me with water and the obligatory grapes which I enjoyed. The only thing I would change is something that I selected myself: the music. I like that we have choices, and I certainly plan on returning to make more of them in the future. Since I tend to be more judgmental about massages/bodywork than others, I'm happy to say Squeeze has surpassed my expectations! (Check-out on the app or in my case, I did so in the comfort of my own place. Although the site says you can leave a tip during this process, I prefer to do so in cash, which they do accept.) read more

My bestie and I had massages here on 2/17/24 and LOVED it! Squeeze is a friendly concept with easy booking, selection of type/style/gender of massage therapist, and friendly service. Booked online, checked in quickly and we went to their lounge and waited for the therapist. I had Barton (amazing) and he took me to a very nice private room. You choose the music type you like (if any), oil if you like, and my 80 minute massage was $159. There is street parking, limited spaces behind Squeeze, and 2 hour parking in the neighborhood just behind Venture Blvd. Can't wait to go back! read more

I can't rave enough about Squeeze. We signed up for the monthly membership and I truly believe it's one of the better decisions we've made this year. My wife just finished cancer treatment so we're still required to play it very safe when it comes to COVID and germs in general. Their COVID protocols and overall cleanliness are top of the line. At the end of our massages, they gave us a gift knowing what we're going through with my wife's cancer. That gesture was the icing on the cake and we left in very happy tears. My wife was lucky enough to be paired with Whitney who took exceptional care in her needs as her body is a bit weak. Her joints have been giving her a hard time and I kid you not - after her massage she's walking a bit better, stairs are easier, and she keeps saying how much better she feels. Needless to say, we'll be making this a weekly routine by scheduling a massage with their team of skilled MT's. I'm a competitive rower and have many aches, pains, and old injuries - I was paired with Matthew and man... he gave me one of the best massages I've had in years. I wanted to try this place on their opening weekend but unfortunately everything was booked solid so I booked a massage for Monday. I am around this area quite often so I just parked on the side streets but I have read that they have a parking lot. I arrived a few minutes before 1 and was greeted by the lady in the front. She had me sign a waiver since it was my first time there. After this she brought me to the back and showed me around. There are options for some aromatherapy. I had decided to go with the grapefruit. The place is so cute. Clinton was my masseuse. He brought me to the room and talked me through the entire process. He made sure I was okay with the preferences I had put on the app. He was super nice and welcoming. The massage was good, my back wasn't worked on as deeply as I wanted but he he did get the kinks out of my neck. I left sore, which was a good thing! The only thing I didn't like was oil was left all over my body. I'm not sure if that's a thing that they do here or what. He greeted me with some water, a small cup of grapes, and a little swag bag after my massage. I'm so curious what was in the bags for opening weekend! I stayed for a bit post massage, grabbed some almonds and jelly beans on the way out. I'll probably be back a few times here and there! read more

Update to initial review and experience - Squeeze called me the very next morning to try and rectify what happened during my first experience. I'm totally empathetic with the Covid situation, but I still believe earlier notice could have been given by the initial therapist I had booked for versus when I was less than 10 mins from my appointment and a phone call should have been made immediately, not an email or text. That said, I will absolutely give credit where it's due to this business and have updated my review to a 5/5 based on my latest experience and their customer relations. I really appreciated the major level of care provided by the guest service team. Beyond the phone call the next day mentioned previously, they also were super kind in person and even gave me a bonus massage and candle as a make good. I felt the massage was appropriate to do (but didn't ask for it) so I appreciated them proactively doing that. They didn't have to do either, especially the candle, but it was very thoughtful and flipped my perception of coming back instantly. Squeeze will change how you think about getting a massage. It is the polar opposite of a walk in parlor with open stalls. Everything is modern, like they looked at millennial's and gen z and said "how do we build an experience that these people would like." Everything is online and through he phone. The online system for preferences and reservations is quite robust. The website was clearly custom made with a lot of time, money, and love. The facility itself simply looks cool. It goes a long way to have a trendy style, and someone clearly paid attention to all of the branding so that this place shines. It does the little things so perfectly. The rooms itself are amazing. Fancy beds, phone charging stations, thermostats so that you can control the music/temperature/lights. For the massage, I can say without question it's one of, if not the best, I've ever had. They clearly only higher people who are very highly trained, and personable. I absolutely adore Mary. Please give her a ton of business. Honestly, this place is my haven and one my new favorite spots in LA. I went for the first time in October and joined as a member by November, it was that good. I mean what more could you want?? The aesthetic is perfect (founders of dry bar so duh), you customize everything from your room Temperature, music, heating, pressure, areas to avoid or spend more time, and even aromatherapy. During the holidays I couldn't stop coming because of the peppermint aromatherapy and fresh apple cider with cinnamon sticks!! Everything is no frills and easy - you do everything in the app. Karen, Stephanie and Samantha have all been fabulous. I have to keep from coming here multiple times a week it's that good!! I was so excited when I read about the Squeeze concept early this year, and quickly joined their mailing list for more updates. Once the grand opening was announced, I booked myself a massage for opening day. I opted for the chair massage as I was coming after work and wanted to test the waters and check out the concept, and boy am I hooked! There is ample street parking on this stretch of Ventura Blvd and a private lot in the back. Once parked, I walked in, signed the waiver, and was walked through the facility as they explained the process. This place is full of beautiful moments, and plenty of Instagram worthy walls! I loved the attention to detail, from the Drybar products in the bathroom, to the flavored water, tea, nuts and jelly beans available as you wait in the lounge. You even get to select your own scent to be used during your massage. I love how everything is based on personal preference, not one size fits all! After selecting my scent, I was greeted by Heather, who was just lovely, so friendly, and communicative as I sat down and began my massage. She made sure to ask if the pressure was comfortable, or if she could adjust anything. The massage was great, and I felt so relaxed afterward. The entire process, from booking online, setting my customizations and preferences, and paying/tipping after was all SO easy and stress free. I work for a company that values guest experience, and overall experiences over anything, and Squeeze has absolutely nailed the guest experience. I love it here! The app takes all the awkward steps out of massages, like booking appointments, tipping, and saving all of your preferences. I really loved how you can choose the aroma, heat therapy, music and lighting which really made the experience so customized and special. I went opening weekend and loved my massage with Sophie! I love that they have Drybar products in the bathroom, so I was able to give my post-massage hair a little help. Super cute lounge with spa water, tea, and snacks! Post-massage I got a small cup of grapes and ice cold water. I hope that in the future you get a cup of either room temperature water. Love this place and can't wait to come back. I was skeptical, as I usually go to my chiropractor for injuries, but he wasn't available, so I was hoping for some kind of relief. I booked my massage with Matthew because he was the first masseuse available and let me tell you.... He knows what he's doing!! He completely honed in on my problem area and was super thorough. I'm so in love with Squeeze. Every massage is customizable and you have the ability to have "settings" for your session. How dark would you like the room? What temp would you like the room?? What kind of Music would you like to listen to? It's pretty amazing.
