I among the converted. As a self professed massage aficionado, I can claim Jonathan to be the most talented and intuitive masseuse on this planet, in addition to kind and genuine. Thank you Jonathan for sharing your gift. read more

GORGEOUS SPACE... You literally leave behind reality (I won't give away the secret portal - it's a doozy!) and enter a secret door that then leads to this private spa - it's beautiful. Soothing spa music, cozy high-end table... and a good masseuse. Jonathan combined modalities including: Thai, Swedish, Myofacial Release, Sport, Deep, and Reflexive massage techniques. Pricing is incredibly reasonable given the experience and full hour of skilled work. Was a good first experience. Was grateful for the flexibility in scheduling first session and felt for the most part heard in what was discussed. I would ask next time for a bit deeper pressure if that's on the menu... but even without it was a good experience and I highly recommend giving Jonathan a call. read more

Five starsss hands down! I was in dire need of a massage after all the COVID shutdowns. Very personal experience! The massage was amazing and I walked out feeling like a brand new person. Jonathan has years of experience and it shows! Highly recommend! read more

Everyone needs to know the quality and effectiveness of Jonathan's work. I am also a massage therapist/healer of now 20 years since I've graduated. Jonathan is by far the best healer via bodywork I have yet experienced. I am truly grateful for his healing hands, energy and heart. It shows through and my body is feeling so lucky to have experienced such healing. Particularly bc I work with my body every day. I know when the work is good and let me tell you. His is exceptional. Thank you Jonathan. Looking to many more sessions together. And I love the authenticity of this small hidden gem of a yes: portal. Simply magical and mystical. read more

so I met Jonathan today... and let me tell you how wonderful it is to be under his care.. this mans years of experience as a massage therapist since 1994 shows in every single relaxed muscle I have right now and I have never felt this much relief not from any of my PT sessions or the countless different massages ive had in the course of almost a year since iv been diagnosed with neck arthritis.. he really paid special attention to my problematic trapezius muscles ( shoulder) and my upper back and neck.. Thank you for your passion and care and for helping out so many people dealing with chronic life-sucking pain.. I appreciate all youve done for me today and ill see you soon read more

Such a great experience. He thoroughly explained my treatment and made me feel very relaxed. He knows the body very well and worked out all the kinks and knots. My muscles haven't felt this loose in a very long time. If you want a great massage for your tight body this is the place for you. Great energy and a very good deep stretch. I would recommend to anyone who appreciates therapists who take massages and their work seriously read more

I am very athletic and my muscles are extremely tight. This past Friday after a workout I was struggling with muscle fatigue and tightness. I called Jonathan early evening sort of last minute to see if I could get massage. He was able to make it in to see me and I was looking forward to the appointment after reading the reviews on yelp and speaking to him on the phone. I have been to the sushi spot before but never knew The Healing Room was nestled in the back. I am so grateful to stumble upon this discovery. Not only is Johnathan gifted in massage therapy but he is a wonderful person. I was so happy after the massage I couldn't help but hug him. The Healing Room is truly that! Can't wait for my next visit. read more

I didn't get to actually see Jonathan, because I was so slammed with work and had to cancel. But I just wanted to praise his kindness and understanding as well as his clear communication. I will definitely go for a visit when I'm back in town! read more

BEST. MASSAGE. EVER!! It's a bit confusing to find as it's in the back of Iroha restaurant, but it's clean, calming and the masseuse is AMAZING. He worked out knots and kinks I didn't even know I had and he worked on areas of my body (thighs) that I always wish masseuses would work on but rarely touch. I will definitely be coming back! read more

I just moved here from TX and have been on the hunt for a new massage therapist. Great technique! I felt so much better after leaving!

I have had back problems my entire life. Having scoliosis surgery at a young age, it has been a tough road to find the proper relief from the remaining pain surgery has left me with. I have tried acupuncture, chiropractors, different massages and exercises. NOTHING has left me with the relief that Jonathan has given me. I feel so lucky to have found him and these appointments are now my favorite part of the week. He is a great person, healer and businessman. It truly is a sanctuary walking into the Healing Room and being with Jonathan. Knowing that you are in his hands is a feeling everyone should experience. If you're needing a healing experience, look no other place. This is as good as it gets. :) read more

Best massage I had so far. Jonathan is very caring about his client and gives the best treatment he can. Very recommended.

I had such a nice session with Jonathan. He is very accommodating and was able to take appointments for me and my mom same day and work with our schedule when our plans had changed. He works with another therapist and esthetician for additional services. I appreciate that he is confident about addressing all the muscle groups that some other therapists ignore, like the interstitials, sacral/gluteal, and abdominal muscles. He is such a professional at taking feedback. Also he takes Venmo or PayPal which is really convenient. read more

Stop searching! You just found the best massage therapist in this area! I'm 64 and have had massage therapy and "spa messages" over the past 30 years - all good, but you will recognize the best of both worlds here. Professional, experienced and comfortable - even if you're just visiting this City. read more

Jonathan is an amazing masseuse. His massages are, truly, an exceptional experience..... First off, he is incredibly skilled in the art of massage! My back is extremely tight.... But, after a session with Jonathan, it loosens up considerably - and I have much more range of motion! He uses several different techniques, such as hot rocks, cloth, etc... Bliss, I tell you! BLISS Next off, The Healing Room is a definite must-see! It's hidden away in the back of a sushi house. Just the trip to the room is an experience....But, then, the room is just amazing. So tranquil and peaceful. You can tell Jonathan poured his heart into making it an amazing "healing sanctuary". Highly, highly recommend all you people make an appointment ASAP. It'll be worth every penny....!!! read more

Went to Healing Room due to the great reviews posted and we had a wonderful experience too. The massage was relaxing and the pressure just right. I would certainly recommend it. read more

Jonathan was amazing. He had strong hands and was able to find the problems in my back by feel. He was very polite and accommodating. His room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back. read more

I got a note a week ago from an individual that tried to point out that I was in pain prior to the massage, and claimed I had a personal issue with Jonathan. This is not the case at all. Yes, I was in pain prior to the massage, but I didn't expect my massage to make my pain HORRIBLY WORSE and have it last for DAYS ON END. It took almost a week for the horrible pain to go away, and when it finally subsided, I was back to where I started (no improvement). And in terms of personal issues, I have no gripe with Jonathan's personality. He was a very nice guy and he appeared very caring. But when I review something like this, I'm reviewing the service that I paid for, not the provider's demeanor. All the niceness in the world doesn't cause me to overlook the fact that the massage was very poor. My review is a very straightforward recount of my experience. read more

100% would recommend. It is in a little bit of an odd spot (you have to enter through a sushi restaurant) but hands down this is the best massage I've ever had. He finds that perfect balance of not hurting too much while actually helping you with your pain. I was so tense in my neck that I could barely move it and it truly saved me. read more

Jonathan is beyond amazing!! I found him on yelp and so happy I go to him now for massage! He's so nice and knows what he's doing! i take pole fitness so I constantly need massages and al these knots out of my back and shoulders! I injured myself a few weeks ago and he told me what I bruised and helped me get the knots out... about a day or so later I was back to my normal self!! He has amazing advice as well! He's my go to now! I recommend him to all my friends as well and future clients! Thanks Jonathan !! read more

I have had my first massage with Jonathan more than a month ago, promised to write him a review! I was urgently in search for a massage at the date I found J'a place. I am quite a picky person regarding the places I go for esthetic services. I was impressed! He has his own sensual way of feeling each person - that's definitely his mission. He truly dedicate himself for doing what he does! I would leave good tips to that person because he is really making massage, not just punching your body!!! Enjoy everyone! Hope I'll find time to come this year or next read more

Johnathon the massage therapist is wonderful. He really understands your body and what issues you have and works it out for you. Stacy the Aesthetician totally changed my skin. It cleared up and she recommend skin care products to help with my aging skin I was still treating like I was a teenager. They were both super professional and I enjoyed my experience. I highly recommend this place. read more

Fantastic Massage! Jonathan uses multiple techniques in his practice. Including Deep Tissue, Hot Stones, Cold Stones (I know right???), Thai massage, bamboo sticks (he's very targeted and gentle with these), aromatherapy...you name it, he knows when and how to use it! He determines exactly what your body needs for your particular issues. I never once had to tell him: "harder/softer/don't stretch too far, etc." Highlights: 1. You don't have to pay extra for each type of treatment, It's an all-inclusive "whatever you need at the moment" type of massage. 2. The location is very private and relaxing, great vibe. 3. It's nestled right next to a great sushi restaurant! 4. Street parking is easy to find right across the street. Jonathan literally released a part of my shoulder that has been bound up that I have gone to other massage therapists for 6 months trying to get some relief from the pain. Thank you Healing Room!!! I'll be back! read more

The best massage I've had in the Valley. Great location and ambiance and truly healing hands.

Couldn't say enough about the level of comfort & freedom my mind & body felt after receiving a massage from Jonathan. So far I've gone in twice and will become a regular. He is so gracious that my valet parking was his treat & made me feel sincerely welcomed both times. If you're looking for a new masseuse, you've found him, he and his staff are on it, hot stones & the ability to apply the right amount of pressure to release discomfort. read more

Jonathan has truly created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere with the Healing Room. This is by far the BEST massage and experience I have had in the last 10 years. He is a master of healing and provides a comfortable area to unwind and relax. I also opted for the signature facial which was equally amazing! Stacy was fantastic at explaining which products she would use and provided recommendations for follow on care at home. I can't wait until my next session! Thank you! read more

Wow wow wow! I've had professional massages my entire adult life and the massage I received from Jonathan was incredibly unique and productive! I called Jonathan as I had severe back pain for 4 days straight. Nothing was helping and Jonathan seemed confident he could help me. I loved the privacy of his studio and found it to be incredibly convenient. Jonathan zero'd in on my aching areas of my back and created a soothing, therapeutic experience. He combined so many different techniques and always knew exactly how much pressure to use. I walked away feeling relaxed and, most importantly, pain-free!! I highly recommend the Healing Room. Can't wait to go back! read more

Jonathan is the Best therapist ever...Such a loving and caring person. Would highly recommend him! Love love this place

Got a couples massage here last week, best massage of my life. Jonathan took care of me and Vanessa took care of her. They were both so sweet, welcoming, and very informative. Greeted us outside as we arrived and gave us a tour of the property (super cool history, btw.) Made us both feel very comfortable right away. Received a Swedish/deep tissue/hot stone massage for $100 (what a steal!) and it was worth every penny. We will definitely be back. Without a doubt. Thank you Jonathan and Vanessa! read more

The Healing Room is a gem of a find! I have had a lot of massages from therapists of all different skill levels and Jonathan is the best! I am now a regular client and have experienced a huge range of massage styles and his other therapies (I am a hot stone convert). Jonathan has done deep tissue work on me that has significantly helped injuries as well as lighter "I just want to relax" style massage. Jonathan is great at both and really listens to and delivers what I request (another rarity). That being said, he is also such an intuitive healer that he usually knows what will be most helpful without much input from me. In addition to the fantastic massage is the location of the Healing Room - set behind Iroha Sushi and the Garendo Gallery, I feel like I am stepping out of LA and into a secret world of Japanese art and culture. The energy of the whole space is relaxing and private. Jonathan is totally trustworthy and a very gifted healer. Just a side perk, since I have been a regular client, friends have told me I look younger and more vibrant than I have in years! read more
