    Save your money and your time! Avoid this place like the plague!…read more I've purchased my last couple pairs of glasses from Buckeye Optical. I can't say that the experience was great but certainly acceptable. This time around has been a completely different story. I mean absolute nightmare. This entire ordeal began a few months ago when I scheduled my regular eye exam. Dr. Bruch was wonderful and very friendly and so was Sarah the Ophthalmic technician. Everything was smooth sailing until I met with optician Robin, right from the start she was rude and unfriendly. I almost felt uncomfortable during my entire experience with her. I ended up deciding to order the exact glasses I currently owned because I couldn't find anything within the stores selection. These glasses were ordered/confirmed and would take a couple weeks at most to arrive. I received a call nearly a week or more later and was told these glasses were not available. I would have appreciated that information up front when I placed my order. I called back Robin with a Ray-Ban model that I liked and was told that they could be ordered. She seemed aggravated and annoyed the entire time. I ended up asking to speak to store manager Jeramy. He seemed somewhat accommodating at first but wouldn't acknowledge my complaint about customer service being poor. I ended up waiting nearly a month for my first set of glasses (I was told they are from overseas). I was overcharged by over $20 which I feel was intentional. This was corrected after I argued and laid out the error in black and white. The glasses arrive and I notice a defect in the lenses, two weeks or so later I receive a call that the replacement lenses have arrived and they will cut them to fit. The lenses were cut incorrectly and looked terrible; the brand new frames were also scuffed/marred in the process. Again nearly another month goes by because I have to wait for the replacement frames. Mind you that I've had to make multiple trips to Buckeye Optical during their business hours, which are also my work hours (extremely inconvenient). I almost always have to wait about 15 mins or more when I arrive. Finally, I get a random text message saying my frames have arrived. I try calling to verify that everything is ready to avoid wait times and their phones aren't working. My girlfriend ends up getting the replacement frames for my time sake. I receive a call from Jeramy telling me that I need to bring the defective/damaged lenses back so he can get a credit from them. I told him that I would try to as soon as I can but I haven't had time. I also mentioned that he could send a pre-paid label for me to send them back to him. He did not like that idea and his tone quickly changed; he threatened to send me a bill if I did not return them now. So apparently it's acceptable for your customers to wait over 3 months to finally get correct lenses/frames but when it comes time for manager Jeramy to wait he throws a fit. I sincerely hope that Buckeye Optical can figure out their poor customer service situation. I wish I had paid attention to the poor Yelp reviews. If you enjoy poor attitudes and terrible customer service then Buckeye Optical is the place to shop for eyewear. Extremely disappointed.
