Do not buy eyewear here. The customer service is atrocious. If you don't come directly from the eye exam and walked over to eyewear by the doctor, they completely ignore you. This is third time I have experienced this and will not be back. Standing there like a dummy waiting to pick up my glasses for 25 mins today. No one even acknowledged me, but they immediately served the person who was walked over by the doctor, even though I had already been there waiting. Do better. read more

I had my annual eye exam last week at the office on Triangle Lane in Manchester, NH. My appointment was at 9:00 and I was called back at 9:01. The assistant was very pleasant and explained everything she did. I saw Dr. Remillard who is very nice. He didn't rush and asked me if I had questions. After my exam was finished, he took me out to the glasses area. I was having a problem with my vision insurance, so he mentioned that there were specials that I might like to use. I was introduced to Justin. He is absolutely wonderful! He helped me pick out my frames and was able to find a different color in another location. He helped me find the best deal for my frames and lenses. I was amazed at the price! I could not have gotten a better deal at Costco or Sam's! He was very patient with me and he gave me his full attention. I asked for a copy of my prescription and it was included with my receipt. I had a great experience at this office. Everyone was nice and very helpful. I know you are led to the glasses area after your exam, but I received no pressure to buy my glasses at this office. I'm glad that I did, but there was no pressure. I will continue to get my exams here because I feel that they truly care. read more

Update 10/24 This is turning into a mini-series. To be fair I want to say that on 10/18 I finally got a call from customer relations, and they gave me a partial refund that took the sting off of the multiple trips and time spent on the phone. I got a call on 10/23 that my glasses had finally arrived. WOHOO Left work early and and drove straight there. The people in the store have been great and I don't put any of this on them but........Yes, they screwed up AGAIN!!!! I put my new glasses on and couldn't see my nose. After the Manager reviewed the paperwork, she determined that the lab put someone else's prescription in my new frames. My new estimated date is NOVEMBER 11Th. Really?? read more

my son had a 20/20 vision but still he prescribed -50 for both of his eyes. ridiculous. and my husband his fine with his near side and the doctor said of because of his closed to 50 his said you need Progressive vision with +1.50. and after that the forced you to buy a pair of glasses there and don't want us to have the printed prescription. read more

When I originally got my glasses( my first pair ever), they gave me a headache and did not give me crystal clear vision. I chalked it up to I just needed to get used to them. I feel my eyesight is even worse now when I take them off then before and now ive read reviews of people getting the wrong prescription! Mind you, I could have stuck with store bought readers, which in hindsight I should have done because i paid hundreds (a huge ripoff) and that was WITH insurance (another ripoff). I recently got a nasty scratch on my glasses, and of course the insurance on them are only for a year (I'm 2 months past) so they refuse to fix because now they want you to go spend more money on an exam and spend another $400 on a stronger prescription to screw up your eyes even more. You can't even access your old prescription on the portal. This is such a shameful in your face money grab to keep you in their grip. You lost a customer. More people need to wake up and understand that these medical places want your money and will try their hardest to keep you enslaved to them. They don't care about you. I had my exam done in Concord NH. I went to Dr. Eye Care on Triangle in Manchester because my insurance accepted there for my new glasses. I went down and they didn't any much that my insurance would cover for the frames. I picked out a different pair, and they said they would be in, in 2 weeks. The day they came in, I drove to Manchester to pick them up. The guy just gave them to me and said how do they feel. And that was it. I went home and tried using them and I was not able to see. I went back the next day, and a different employee adjusted them and said because they are bifocals, and because of my age, I need to look up to see below. I went home that night and the next day I tried to wear them and their was no difference, so I drove back to Manchester and said I wanted my money back. She said let me check something else, but agreed to give me back my money. The next day, I went to my eye doctor in Concord and picked out a new pair of eyeglasses. The total cost was 25% less than what the Eye Doctor was charging me. This week, I was told my eyeglasses were in. I went and picked them up, and had no problem seeing, and I didn't have to hold my head up to see below. I would not suggest Mr Eye Dr to anyone!!!!! Although I confirmed my appointment online days prior to the appointment and also left a voicemail to confirm it, they canceled my appointment without alerting me to the fact. I showed up at my scheduled time and was told I didn't confirm my appointment (even though I did - twice). When I asked why/how this happened, the only answer I got was "that's how the system works". Even though this is not a suitable explanation, why was I not alerted to my appointment being cancelled? I have children and it is not easy for me to attend appointments. Of the two receptionists, the one that was helping me was apologetic, but the other one was incredibly disrespectful, rude, and kept interjecting with condescending remarks, making me feel as if this was somehow my fault.  I won't be back to this location or any other ones owned by them. read more

I called today for a refill on my script and because the Dr. I used to see left, they would not call in a script for me unless I pay to come in to see the new Dr. when I was just there at the end of March. They just list a customer. I'll go elsewhere. They list a patient for the last 20+ years. read more

Delays in getting glasses outrageous prices pushy sales people (it's a doctors office they shouldn't try to sell you things you don't need) terrible inventory and they order the most expensive lenses without even explaining what you're getting. Arrogant staff, customer service is clearly dead. Made appointment waited two weeks, got there only to find out that they have two locations on South Willow. One of the staff told me that this happens several times a day. Was sent to the second location, first they told me that i did not have an appointment. Then i was told i would need to reschedule. I was a patient here before they became MyEyeDr and had nothing but positive experiences. I was wary to return after the rebrand, but was pleasantly surprised by the great service I received. My exam was conducted first by a very kind student. She was thorough and even discussed with me a genetic disorder that I need to be regularly screened for due to findings on my previous retinal scans. No one had every shared that info with me. The doctor was also very kind and professional and the staff out front never pressured me into making purchases I didn't want to. Now, months later, I brought in a pair of glasses that I did not purchase there but that I needed to have adjusted. It was quite busy, but they had me in and out with a comfortable fit within 30 minutes. read more

Doctors are fine but assistants, desk help and accounting are not knowledgeable with insurance and what is covered and what isn't. They will assure you that certain "upgrades" are fully covered, even when you tell them more than once you don't think it is. They tell you again and again that this year the insurance fully covers it. So you go ahead and do it, then they bill you because it's not covered, you object and reiterate to them that THEY assured you it was fully covered, and that was the only reason you agreed to it. They send it to collections anyway. I paid the $48 bill and fired them. They lost me and my family and ended a 13 year relationship over $48. read more

If I could give a negative rating I would. Three attempts to get my glasses right, two exams - still can't see out of the damned things. Try #1 - after two week wait, tried them on and, nope, I would eventually need neck surgery in order to maintain the massively narrow field of vision. I was told that the pupil measurement was wrong. Remeasured. 2 weeks later - same deal - move my head in any direction and, bam, I just can't see. Call the manager and she gets back to me in a couple of days. Manager insists that the only option is to be re-checked by optometrist. Not happy but, OK, I need to see. A week later, I'm checked - prescription changes. Remeasured. 2 weeks later I pop in unexpected because its been 41 days now since I had my glasses. They tell me I've been given them already. Talk with assistant manager - she tells me she can't do anything and actual manager is on vacation and will be back on Monday and I'll have to call back then. Ya, no. Call corporate (have fun with this y'all). After a ton of push back, I give up and just decide to see if anything happens. Yes, I'm not happy at this point and, yes, I've made that clear (didn't swear but was pretty damned firm). I get a call back! They found my glasses (miracle of miracles). I go in the next day - same f*****g shit, 1 degree move of my head and all I see is a blur (I suspect the new lenses with the new prescription were never made). Assistant manager tells me to wait a week and try them. Ya, no. Back to corporate. Get a human and she refunds my money, but, she wants the damned frames back - it's an inventory thing you know. This is one piss poor company and if you spend your money and your time here, you now get what you deserve. read more

dr is professional and personabl. be prepared to be held hostage. they do not allow you to be checked out until everyone in front of you have picked out glasses. they will not give you your prescription if you do not go through the waiting process above even if there is no copay. read more

I was a patient of MVC eye care for years. When My Eye Dr. took over I was leery at first. My first few visits were fine. In fact they were great, but this last visit was different. I had needed to cancel my last appointment for an extended medical exam. The staff on the phone told me I could re-schedule it online. I did that. When I arrived at my appointed time (4:00pm), there was some confusion about my appointment not being a regular checkup. At 4:10, it seemed to be straitened out according to the person at the front desk. She said the technician had found the doctors notes. I asked if it would be better for me to re-schedule and come back when the same Dr was in. She assured me that it would be fine. At 4:24, I asked if it was going to be much longer because I had other things that I needed to do. She said she was sorry that there had been an emergency medical exam and that was probably what was taking so long. At 4:35, as I was waiting in line to tell the receptionist that I needed to leave, someone came to get me for my appointment. I asked her if the appointment was going to take a long time and she said that yes, it probably would. I said that I wished they had told me earlier that it was going to take so long to get in, because I couldn't stay and I had already wasted 35 minutes just waiting there. I would have re-scheduled when I got there instead of waiting all that time. She then proceeded to push the blame on me for the delay. Unbelievable! She said it was my fault for making an online appointment for a medical eye exam. I understand that emergencies sometimes happen in a medical office, but it would be the courteous thing to do, to give me a choice about whether or not I can stay. I am a teacher and my work days are 12-14 hours a day, so every minute is precious to me. As I am reading other reviews, it would appear to me that My Eye Dr started out in the community pretty strong, but has gone down hill in 2022. I would definitely go somewhere else next time. read more
