My issue here is the lack of accountability with their billing department that is a third party. I received a letter stating that I owe an amount, when I call the clinic they told me to call my insurance. My insurance tells me they already paid one claim but have not received the 2nd one. When I called the eye clinic they were unaware of this told me they will get back to me but received no call. Almost a month have past and I still have no answer, I still have to wait fir the third party to figure out if I owe something from one year ago.

The earliest availability to schedule over this past year has been approximately three months out. I don't need same day, same week appointments but need an office that can accommodate an appointment within the next month. My contact lenses fitting last year was to the point of comical. We had to go through several different brands and strengths to find one that worked. After each trial, I would have to wait 1-2 weeks for the doctor to be available to respond to a message and prescribe a different option. This lead to my fitting lasting nearly two months, which I find to be unacceptable.

I got my glasses filled elsewhere using the prescription they gave me, and I realized within just a few days that I still could not see clearly. The prescription simply wasn't right. I called Vista Eye to get the issue corrected, since it had only been one week since my exam. Instead of showing concern or offering to recheck the prescription, they told me I would need to pay another $60. I was shocked. I expected a clinic to stand behind the accuracy of its exam, especially within such a short time frame. I left feeling frustrated and unheard. The whole situation came across as more about collecting fees than providing patient care. I regret going here and I would not return. There are many optometrists in the Fort Worth / Keller / Timberland / Heritage area who are far more compassionate and supportive. If you value customer care and accuracy, I recommend looking elsewhere before choosing Vista Eye.
