The service is amazing and you get a seating time of 90 minutes to enjoy your tea set. They have a three tier tea stand that comes packed with scones, clotted cream and jam, sandwiches and mini dessert bites. I absolutely LOVE their scones. And the clotted cream and jam supplied by Devon cream company is delicious. I am not a jam fan but the vanilla berry jam is So good! They have a little under 300 varieties of tea and you can actually choose your tea after smelling it from the glass container too. It was such an experience! I ended up purchasing a few small tea packets to bring home as well so ended up trying four varieties of tea.

Hot water was added to our teas, and otherwise we were left to talk amongst ourselves. They served clotted cream, and a choice of jam with their scones. Had a mixed berry jam which was a good amount of tart and sweetness. Scones were excellent, one of the best I've had so far; which admittedly is not a lot. The sandwiches were okay, filling good, but bread a bit stale. The sweets were a small selection of 4 desserts and berries on the side. There was a lot of food for the 'White House Tea' set, well worth the money and the experience. Nice to try, but a bit far to come back again. Will definitely recommend to someone in the area!

In addition to afternoon tea platters there is also a lunch menu in case scones and tea sandwiches were not your thing. What was ordered; The Tea Room High Tea with a pot of Irish English Breakfast. The verdict? Food was okay. Scones were amazing and light. Served with a side of jam and clotted cream. Service was attentive. Note there is a seating limit of an hour and 45 minutes. The tea house is along Kerr street, I would actually say the more busy part as there are a few well known restaurants in this area. The parking situation is in fact paid unless you make a visit after 6pm or on Sundays. So I made a visit on a weekday night around 5:30/6pm and they weren't crazy busy but had a decent flow of customers. I do like how visual the drinks are as there are a number of posters showing what each drinks look like. I opted for the recommended drinks which are marked on their menu. I got the lychee dragon fruit green tea as I was trying to avoid the dairy beverages. This choice was yummy and very refreshing! The hubs ordered the mango green tea and he also really liked it. There was a mishap with the ice level but the staff rectified it immediately - great customer service! Did I mention that I made another visit the very next day? I sure did, but tried something different, the Deluxe Purple Yam. I did like it but it was certainly too milky for me

Every time I come here I find that the average demographic leans a bit older so I'd like to share with younger people especially if you like to cook with hard to find ingredients. This place is especially great if you love making Italian dishes and baked goods like me and don't want to drive all the way out towards Mississauga and spend more than anticipated at other specialty stores, or even somewhere like Fortino's where you get charged an arm and a leg for certain produce and meat. Everything here is so fresh, and I love that they sell their prepared handmade pasta at the hot table for CHEAP. I got one serving of their handmade tortellini in alfredo sauce for just $6.99 and I was able to make two meals out of it without any extra sides or drinks. I haven't tried anything else because they had already closed most of the hot table when I got the tortellini but what was still out looked really good. Their desserts are pretty good too, I prefer their cookies over their cakes as I feel I've had better elsewhere, but nonetheless have a great selection with good pricing as well. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area, I feel like even if you came in without the intention of buying something, you'll still manage to make a purchase of some sort lol.

Unfortunately 3 weeks before his party he had a really bad fall and had to be airlifted to the hospital. I called the bakery almost 12 days in advance - more than enough time before they even began prepping anything for this small party - and they refused. Well actually, the employee on the phone was extremely unhelpful to begin with and when I requested I talk to the manager they left me waiting for almost 20 minutes on hold. When I did speak with the manager, I explained the situation I believed she understood and offered me a refund. I was clear we were going to rebook the party for the summer time and I'd be sure to call on them again for the order. In the end, I never got the refund. I've emailed the bakery numerous times with no response. I was even warned it was pointless to email customer service as I would not get a response. What honest business does that? So we are going ahead with the party and I highly recommend you go with the professionals at Pusateri's or Eataly. It's been a much better more positive and honest experience from the get go.

There is a lot of tables for 2s, 4s, 8s, and the area right by the front cafe is somewhat closed off as well as a long wing on the side for larger groups. Along the walls are local artworks and trinkets for sale as well as store merchandise and other items. There is pizza, coffee, FUN! drinks, snacks, and baked goods at the front. During our visit, although we only had the drinks, many others had pizza, baked goods, etc. during their time hanging out and playing games. (They also offer a stamp card for drinks.) It looks like there are scheduled events for those that aren't as further afield as our group. For us, it was a nice stop between friends where we could meetup and hangout without travelling too far. Parking was plentiful. The service was great, the owners were both there and we were impressed by the quick service and help with the games. The game selection is moderate, they have all the classics and popular games like catan, wingspan, etc. as well as smaller box games like Sabobatage. Some games had copies as well so you don't have to wait too long for your favorites. Would visit again to enjoy games and snacks with friends again in this wonderful third space.

(Although I am happy to say, they now have lactose free milk!!)
