When black mold forced our sudden evacuation, Brodie and Russell selflessly helped move our belongings to a temporary apartment - on a cold, rainy Sunday beyond regular hours! Their dedication warmed our hearts. We didn't know where we were going to spend Xmas, but Brodie and Russell even moved our presents to the temporary housing so our nine month old infant could have a warm and safe first Xmas. They saved the day! Abbea in maintenance meticulously addressed the issue, explaining Pimlico's thorough solution: installing new windows in our bedroom - her transparency reassured us. Amanda and Terri in the front office provided efficient, friendly support throughout. Pimlico Apartments' compassionate response turned a stressful ordeal into a testament of their outstanding character - highly recommend.

They put in my address wrong and the check for the screen door bounced back then they sent me on a wild goose chase around Pullman trying to find where to pick the check up from. I was told two different locations and then told to wait 30 minutes because the manager with my check was not actually where they said she was and ended up returning to the location I was at in the first place. Like I don't have things to do ?!!! They are the ones who told me I could come pick it up and they are the ones who messed up the address in the first place. Terrible.

If you are gonna take stuff from a "vacant" unit, make sure to take everything next time. We still had our unit keys at that point, meaning that we were in-fact not completely moved out. Where things fell apart was accounting, specifically Kari. Communication felt dismissive, responses took far too long, and everything seemed geared toward collecting the maximum amount of money the company can legally justify. There was no flexibility and no willingness to actually help resolve issues, even simple ones. It matches many of the complaints already in their reviews: Helene's is here to make money, not to support tenants. If you are considering renting through them, PLEASE: * Read through your entire lease -- every fee, every clause. * Look up Washington tenant laws (RCW 59.18). * Get everything in writing and save all receipts. * Document your move-in condition with photos and video. The company works strictly "to the fullest extent of the law," and as a tenant, that means you need to know your rights and protect yourself. I don't leave reviews often, but this experience was important enough to warn others. Go in informed.

With views of large portions of Pullman, being on the top floor and with rent as cheap as it was, I felt it was probably the best deal I ever got during my time as a student. What motivated me to finally write a review, however, was calling them out of the blue today, more than 3 years since I was last in school and 4 years since I was a tenant. I was in the need for a reference for a new place I am trying to get in Fremont but could not remember the address. When I told them my name, they remembered me and where I lived! That conversation was way more pleasant and way quicker than I every thought it would take. Unlike a lot of the other property managers in Pullman, these guys are on the straight and narrow, they seem to have good properties and take care of their tenants. If I return for grad school, I will happily return to Summit Realty for a rental and highly recommend anyone reading this to pursue property through them as well.

When I moved out I completed the entire checklist except for cleaning the oven and range as well as the bathtub. They said it took 3 hours to clean my bedroom shown below which was spotless. In total, the charges we received during the moved exceeded $1500 and I spent months contesting that. All Pullman agencies are quite bad because the competition is weak and students do not complain…read more This agency is one of average ones, however, I was not returned the prepaid money for the period of 11 days when somebody took over my lease ($150+). I consider this action as a fraud and this situation encouraged me to write this comment. When I was subleasing the apartment (the sublease fee is another $200, by the way), I was told that I will get money for last days of the month when other tenant moves in, but I did not get it from the agency. When I was trying to solve this issue, the manager told me that he made a favor since it was difficult to sublease a unit in December. So, I suppose that the agency charged money from two tenants for the same period for the same apartment. Other things you need to be ready if you deal with this agency: - the scan of the contract was sent to me only in 3 months instead of promised 1 week. - the unit was very dusty when I moved in. - the carpet was supposed to be clean when I moved in, but I really did not feel it (too much dust). - you will be charged for key replacement (one usual lock in the enter door) about $80. As I sad its an average Pullman agency that charge you much more than you expect and you were promised in the beginning. So, be ready to add this hidden charges and recalculate your real monthly rent.

The wind broke our single pane window that hadn't been updated or sealed in at least 30 years. Not only did it take them 4 weeks to fix said window but they tried to charge us for it. Then when we moved out they did charge us for it. We were so sick of dealing with them and trying to get our money back that we gave up and let them take it out of our safety deposit. That is what they do, they make sneaky charges hoping you won't notice, they continue to charge you for rent after your lease ends in the hopes you still have autopay on, they mail you a security check that voids after 60 days and can only be deposited in person at certain banks, they charge you for damages that are not your responsibility and instead are a result of how unkept the property is. I can't express how much I DO NOT recommend this company or any of the rentals! Pricing is no where near competitive enough to put up with the absolute insanity that is dealing with this company. Seriously do not rent from them you will lose money and your patience.

My husband and I moved to Pullman and had no other option but to rent through this "company." Everything from start to finish was MISERABLE. We were living in another state and needed to rent in Pullman, ASAP. They would not rent the property to us without an IN PERSON visit. So he booked a flight, signed the papers, and then the worst renting experience we've ever had began. We drove 18 hours and were told the house would be ready for us to move in. WRONG. Nothing had been done. No cleaning. No walk thru. Nothing. So much so there were personal belongings from the previous tenants left behind in the home... everywhere. PLUS, a backed up toilet. (Incredibly unsanitary!!) Let's not even touch on what the exterior of the home looked like. After fixing multiple things ourselves, due to quickly learning that a response from Heidi or her team of "helpers" was not going to com, it was time for us to move out a year later back to our home state. We gave 4 months notice that we would still be paying the rent but would be moving 2 months prior to the ending of our lease. We were incredibly accommodating during showings that they hosted and left the home looking 10x better than we got it. Our lease was up, still heard nothing back from "My Rental Company" when we received a text stating we would have to pay to have someone mow the lawn AND fly back up to do a walk thru. They FAILED to communicate with us and FAILED to complete any of their move out tasks. All of that to say, DO. NOT. DO. BUSINESS. WITH. MY. RENTAL. COMPANY.
