Thanks to their attention to detail and focus on helping us make a renovation deadline, our job was completed as soon as possible. We are left with peace of mind, knowing things were done right. We had the worst experience working with this company. The manager, Kevin is a fast talking…read moresalesman and very disrespectful to his staff. As a homeowner, we trusted that they would abate our asbestos safely and follow proper protocol. After they finished the job, our electrician discovered that they left large quantities vermiculite in the attic and wall cavities and purposely stuffed fiberglass insulation over the vermiculite to intentionally hide it from the inspectors. These areas were easily accessible to their workers and could be reached by their equipment (and easily visible to our electrician). They lied and said the vermiculite was removed from these areas. I suspect that his workers had been trained to purposely cut corners to save time and hide their incomplete work. This was a shocking discovery. They put our health and that of our contractors in great jeopardy by leaving this cancerous material so easily accessible. When I called to have them come back to fix the problem and finish the job, fortunately they did return. However, then we had to witness Kevin yell at his workers, blaming and shaming them for the problem. It was completely inappropriate and a bit staged. I will never work with them again, and would never recommend them.

When I called to ask about this, I was told that it's "normal" for the hem to fall out after some time and that I needed to be more careful with handling the garment. I did not mishandle the garment beyond standard wear by any means. I was also told I'd need to pay again to have them re-hemmed (they did offer a discount). I took the garment back to be re-hemmed at a discount, only for the stitch to fall out again a few months later. I will not be bringing any items back here to be tailored. I expected professional work that lasts -- instead, I got a hem that failed almost immediately and a response that did not take any accountability. Not what I would expect for basic alterations.

(And I had reached out to over a dozen on Yelp!) While some responded, some never came out for the quote appointments or could not meet our timeline for getting the project done before the end of the summer. Bruno came promptly on the day he said he would for a quote and was communicative along the whole process. He removed his shoes without even asking. Bruno also had some suggestions for paint colors and talked to my kids to get their perspectives. After our initial consultation, my young son was even so impressed with Bruno's friendliness and expertise that he told my husband and I that we needed to hire him. :) We ended up hiring them and their price was competitive and the quality of their work was great. They even helped patch over some water damage in the ceiling of one of the rooms. The crew that came to paint was pleasant and cleaned up so well that you could barely tell anybody had painted. We are now contacting Bruno for a quote with some mold remediation in our bathroom.

I call again and talk to her, still no estimate. She apologizes, assures me she is working on it and will get it to me asap. Cut to another week. I call again and leave a message asking where is the estimate and could she call me. I get an email back later that day with confirmation on what I was looking for so she could draw up an estimate. I email all details (again) and it's now OVER another week and I have never heard back. No estimate. Thank you for wasting my time; thankfully I saw this coming and engaged with another printer. If this is how you treat prospective new clients who you are trying to "win", I can't imagine what the level of service is once you're engaged. Sadly, I have no idea what these high reviews are talking about!
