Stopped by with my daughter after work and saw the lights off, but the sign says "Walk in number" so I figured maybe they ran out for something. I call the number and the lady that answered says that they aren't taking walk ins because they are booked up today and that they only take appointments. I would have respected her saying that they were closed today and that an appointment would be advised. Don't lie. I'm literally standing in front of your closed store and your sign literally says you do, in fact, take walk ins. read more

RACIST!!! I had to share this review about the "service" I just received at at My Pedispa. I came in about a week ago to get my nails and toes polished. Today I went in because my polish chipped on my toe to get it filled back in. I was told never to return and that they don't believe they are the place to service me. I asked why and received attitude and a very harsh tone. I was denied service ongoing and simply wanted to know why. I was told that the young ladies did not like when I asked about my nails ONE time on one service day and ONE time on another service day. I definitely noticed how nice they are to their white patrons versus their demeanor towards me every single time. I will gladly not return but before I don't wanted to share the real time RACISM I experienced today at this establishment. If my standards are too high because I don't want chipped nails is your reason when I have seen you do that for your other customers that are not black, you are clearly exhibiting racist behavior and it's truly sad in this day and age BUT I will pray for you and keep ot pushing and make sure to share with the world so that nobody ever has to feel the way that you all attempted to make me feel on today. We have been coming here for at least 2 years and the service is great for women, kids, and men. They also do eyebrow waxing and I didn't have any irritation the next day like I normally do. They offer drinks during the mani and pedis. I would highly recommend the nail spa to anyone. read more

They were really nice but for the price I was pretty disappointed! I came home and scrubbed my feet. And my boyfriends feet. The girl who did his pedicure said she couldn't do anymore! I appreciate them being open on a Sunday but I don't want to come home and have to clip cuticles and wipe polish off of my toenails. I would have to advise anyone to go to another spa. read more

I have rarely commented but I was really surprised to see the previous comment. I loveee this place, everything is definitely clean. They have the sanitizing machine for all the tools, I saw it working and absolutely felt satisfied. The polishes are all brand name and not cheap at all. All of the polishes are from OPI and ZOYA (this brand even more expensive I googled it) And the gels are from another brand but they stay really long and are easily taken off which means your nails won't be damaged at all! The staffs are nice and they always do a good job! There are so many other reasons why I loved this upscale nails shop! Highly recommend! read more

Great place! This place is very clean. The service I received there was top notch. My mani and pedi is perfect!! Here the bonus!! They use a dental grade autoclave to sterilized all of the implements and dispose of all one time use nail files and buffers. You won't find too many places that will do this. read more

Really love their pedicures, but the lack of sanitation concerns me and their acrylic and polish work is subpar for the prices charged. Plus they charge 60$ for a deluxe pedicure( paraffin dip extra massage etc), when I have other places that only charge 45$ read more

This place is wonderful -- I have never seen a cleaner nail salon in the New Orleans area -- including the high end ones that charge much more. They use new files on every person and all the tools are sanitized with hospital grade machinery. The decor is lovely and the scrubs and lotions are made in house with high quality oils. I have personally worked side by side with some of Metairie's finest Dermatologists for over 5 years and have seen hundreds of staph infections. It is unfortunate that Julia E had a staph infection but going public and saying that she knows she got it from this salon is unfair, especially after she herself said she didn't have any symptoms until a week after her pedicure. Staph is everywhere and she could have picked it up anywhere in the seven days after her pedicure. On a different note.... This salon is beautiful, inviting and very clean. Prices are a little higher but well worth the extra bucks if you are looking to be pampered and to enjoy a pedicure experience like no other you have ever had. Everything is new and they offer many extras that other salons don't, for free. As soon as I sat down I was offered a beverage, a warm neck wrap and a scent for my water. ( I recommend the cucumber. It smells amazing and is not too overpowering) They have adorable pedicure chairs for kids and my two year old thoroughly enjoyed her polish job while watching Mickey Mouse on the Disney channel. Being only two years old, my little one was a little wiggly but the manicurist was very sweet and patient with her. I also enjoyed my pedicure and will definitely be a regular customer! I would also like to add that I purchased a gift card for my sister-in-law before leaving as was delighted with its unique presentation! read more

As much as I wanted to love this place I just can't. 1st thing, nothing is name brand here. Not that that's bad but it's definitely a red flag. They claim OPI polish damages your nails so they don't use it. They use some random cheap gel polish brand (I googled it). The lady put the gel polish in the warmer prior to polishing my nails, which I've NEVER seen. 2nd thing is the tools she tried using on my nails were severely rusted & clearly unsanitary. I definitely won't be returning. There's so many things I saw that made me feel uncomfortable & reminded me of why I've been paying what I've been paying for a gel mani & deluxe pedicure. I'll continue paying a little extra for a wide variety of polish colors & brands and sanitary tools. read more

My Pedispa is wonderful! I often go to Puccinos next door and was extremely excited when this salon opened. The staff and especially the owner are so welcoming and pride themselves on being clean, polite, and delivering great customer service. I have often talked to the owner about her expectations for the salon and she truly remains humble yet eager to offer a new experience for customers. I am not sure about you, but I cannot stand when salons do not clean up excess nail polish and often times you have to ask someone at other places to do so. I have never left my Pedispa with disappointing nails and they always clean up the nails. They even re-did one nail the next day after I messed it up. I have been about 10 times thus far and love this place. read more
