Worst communication and customer service. Over the phone…read moreJohn accepted to by my washer and dryer also stated their is a 25 dollar pick up fee. Once they arrive he quoted me 25 dollars total. He didn't pay me for selling my appliances to him. I was very disappointed. He stated he still need gas money which is not apart of the sell. So basically I gave him a washer and dryer he going to make a profit on. He also kept walking away while talking to us. AND then told us once he arrived he only accepted cash. Which we did not have on us and then complain abouy us need to go to the bank. Eventually we paid the man cash app. But over all that was bad business. He should of accepted to just take them and not charge.

Oh Lord! Don't go here if you a) don't like dogs or b) don't enjoy wreaking of smoke! I happen to like dogs, so I was OK with it, but I was almost gagging from the heavy smell of smoke. The entire store wreaked of cigarette smoke- it smelled like a bar from my college days and thee was literally a haze through which I saw someone approaching from the back of the store. I was only in the store less than 5 minutes and I had to hang my jacket outside when I got home! Didn't bother to shop for an appliance because the smoke was unbearable. I find it hard to believe in this day and age that a proprietor would allow his/her business to wreak of smoke - it was gross!

He does great work on refrigerators and dryers. Didn't realize the coils in the back of my fridge were so dirty & definitely needed a thorough cleaning. Marcus also found I needed a new refrigerator hose. No more strange noise coming from the fridge now. Thank you! Great customer service both by telephone and in person. You would never know that a tech had been cleaning all that gunk from back of the fridge. He even had his own booties, as we are a shoes off home. Thank you!

I had a very disappointing experience with Appliance EMT that I feel others should be aware of…read more A technician came to my home on Saturday to repair my ice maker. Before beginning the work, he clearly stated that the cost would be $395, but also explained that there was no warranty on the repair and that if the fix did not work, the price would be reduced to $250. Based on that representation, I agreed to move forward. After the repair, the freezer briefly got cold and produced only three ice cubes before the technician left--at which point I was charged the full $395. Unfortunately, within an hour of his departure, the freezer stopped working entirely. When I contacted the company to address this, I expected them to honor what their technician had promised. Instead, they refused to adjust the price down to $250 as previously stated. Rather than resolving the issue, they repeatedly attempted to upsell me on a much more expensive repair totaling approximately $1,300. Given this experience--being charged for a repair that did not work, having agreed-upon pricing disregarded, and facing persistent upselling instead of resolution--I strongly discourage others from doing business with this company.
