I didn't have that great of a meal from the food truck. I had the Queso Molé Nachos. Basically the sauce just tasted like Molé amd no cheese and the chicken wasn't that great, had some fatty pieces.

Oh my god. Let me tell you. The FLAVORS. THE TEXTURE! A beautifully curated dish that was comforting, filling and refreshing all at the same time. I just asked Cesario to make me his favorite thing (sans cheese) and I got a roasted veggie and chicken bowl. Topped with a perfectly cooked egg and a mix of crunchy seeds, it was like nothing I've ever eaten before. I believe I got the mole verde sauce (which is gluten free) and it was so full of flavor and umami! If you like mole... or if you like good food in general, you will LOVE my mom's mole!

YES! These guys nailed it! Nothing makes better beer food than nachos except for really kickass awesome nachos! I got to try their pop-up offerings at my favorite local brewery Steel Bonnet the other day and I was more than stoked! Two humble guys offering up really well prepared and super tasty nachos with either perfectly roasted veggies (potato, carrot, butternut squash), or pulled Turkey, or "The Works" (a combo of both) topped with one of three home made (Mom's recipe) Mole's. Traditional Mole, Mole Queso, or Mole Verde were the choices or any combo of the three. I got to try all three and my favorite was the Mole Queso. Although all three were excellent, they said the Mole Queso was made with 4 different cheeses in the mix. Rather than getting the gooey cheese experience one would imagine, you get a more complex and fuller bodied mole with an awesome texture. The nacho chips were homemade and cut in a unique wide aspect that was great for trying to build the perfect nacho bite(s). The chips were thick so the crunch lasted to the last bite of the perfect portion... One gripe is the price, $15 for the works. A previous picture from Yelp showed the same dish for $3 less just 9 months ago. That being said, these were fricken awesome nachos and I would eat them again and again. The high price pop-up / food truck trend is here to stay and that sucks but these guys make a great and unique treat that makes even the best beer more fun to drink. Definitely give'em a try!

Great food. Wish they had a brick and mortar location. Just happened to find them a couple time.

Take home mole is okay. I added extra spices for depth of flavor. Tacos are fresh and made to order, but are not full of flavor.

Surprised this place doesn't have more reviews! I came really hungry and ordered: 5 Tacos 1. Carne Asada (Grilled Beef) 2. Pollo Asado (Grilled Chicken) 3. Al Pastor (Grilled Pork) 4. Lengua (Beef Tongue) 5. Caveza (Beef Head) 2 Quesa Birrias (Beef) 1 Sopez de Lengua (Beef Tongue) Tacos Analysis * Hand-made tacos OMG! It's soft and fluffy on the inside, crispy and textured on the outside. * The tacos are very well loaded. 3 bucks I think is well worth it. * The condiments are fresh. Both lemons and cucumbers were very juicy. * The salsa was had authentic tomatio flavors. It was spicy in a good way but not out to kill. Quesa Birrias Anaylsis * Still handmade tortillas. Bomb! * Very well loaded with balance of mozzarella and birria. * Tortilla shell is very well toasted outside with birria sauce all over. * The birria itself was very soft with guajillo (the red) sauce. * Hands down best quesa birrias I've had. Sopez de Lengua Analysis * Still handmade tortillas. Win! * Very filling with many ingredients - bean spread, shredded lettuce, queso fresco, and lengua chunks. Verdict / TL;DR This place is amazing and worth stopping for. The highlights are home-made tortillas, generous portions, just fresh ingredients. The flavors come from the ingredients rather than just salt.

Stopped at this spot and asked what was good, she said everything. The had beef ribs which was exciting. I got a brisket sandwich and excitedly took it home to munch. Got home and it was freaking inedible. Dry and tough and literally could not tear through the meat. They also told me they don't make their own bbq sauce. This place SUCKS. Meat seemed super old and I'm glad I didn't get sick. As far as I know, this is THE WORST BBQ ON THE CENTRAL COAST. There's BBQING and then there's GRILLING. I don't think these people know the difference. Aptos St BBQ is universes away in Smokey, well developed flavor land. Eat there! Only good thing was the bread, which was pillowy and delicious.
