I didn't have that great of a meal from the food truck. I had the Queso Molé Nachos. Basically the sauce just tasted like Molé amd no cheese and the chicken wasn't that great, had some fatty pieces.

Oh my god. Let me tell you. The FLAVORS. THE TEXTURE! A beautifully curated dish that was comforting, filling and refreshing all at the same time. I just asked Cesario to make me his favorite thing (sans cheese) and I got a roasted veggie and chicken bowl. Topped with a perfectly cooked egg and a mix of crunchy seeds, it was like nothing I've ever eaten before. I believe I got the mole verde sauce (which is gluten free) and it was so full of flavor and umami! If you like mole... or if you like good food in general, you will LOVE my mom's mole!

YES! These guys nailed it! Nothing makes better beer food than nachos except for really kickass awesome nachos! I got to try their pop-up offerings at my favorite local brewery Steel Bonnet the other day and I was more than stoked! Two humble guys offering up really well prepared and super tasty nachos with either perfectly roasted veggies (potato, carrot, butternut squash), or pulled Turkey, or "The Works" (a combo of both) topped with one of three home made (Mom's recipe) Mole's. Traditional Mole, Mole Queso, or Mole Verde were the choices or any combo of the three. I got to try all three and my favorite was the Mole Queso. Although all three were excellent, they said the Mole Queso was made with 4 different cheeses in the mix. Rather than getting the gooey cheese experience one would imagine, you get a more complex and fuller bodied mole with an awesome texture. The nacho chips were homemade and cut in a unique wide aspect that was great for trying to build the perfect nacho bite(s). The chips were thick so the crunch lasted to the last bite of the perfect portion... One gripe is the price, $15 for the works. A previous picture from Yelp showed the same dish for $3 less just 9 months ago. That being said, these were fricken awesome nachos and I would eat them again and again. The high price pop-up / food truck trend is here to stay and that sucks but these guys make a great and unique treat that makes even the best beer more fun to drink. Definitely give'em a try!

Great food. Wish they had a brick and mortar location. Just happened to find them a couple time.

Take home mole is okay. I added extra spices for depth of flavor. Tacos are fresh and made to order, but are not full of flavor.

They were wonderful to work with, from start to finish: very responsive to our initial inquiries, pricing was as expected, and the team showed up on time and was ready to serve food on time. They also packed up the leftovers before they left so that latecomers could still eat. My only critique was that the elotes didn't look like the pic on Yelp. But everything was delicious, and people were going back for more!

While the food eventually arrived, the experience leading up to and during the event was fraught with unnecessary stress. Initial communication was great, but it trailed off as we got closer to the date. Despite their "quick response" phone number, my calls and texts went completely ignored. To make matters worse, the voicemail changed from a personal greeting to a generic one 72 hours before my event, leaving me terrified that we had been scammed. We increased our headcount from 65 to 75 a week prior. After being told this was fine, I was sent an incorrect invoice that ignored the new guest count and asked for a second $300 deposit I had already paid. It took multiple follow-up emails just to get a confirmation on the final numbers. On the day of, the staff arrived promptly and set up on time. However, only 30 minutes into service--with only 30 of our 75 guests fed--they completely ran out of cilantro, onions, and grilled peppers. When I followed up the next day, they claimed they prepared for "70 guests." Even if that were true, it wasn't the 75 we paid for, and it certainly doesn't explain running out of basic toppings after 30 people. I'm incredibly glad we didn't use them for our wedding last year as originally planned. It's disappointing when the service doesn't match the reputation. 2 stars for due prompt service and the guests that got all the food really enjoyed the steak & shrimp.

The food was so good and our guests raved about it even after the event. I highly recommend their short ribs, baked havarti oysters, and do not pass on Bruces famous brownies! We absolutely loved how great the team was to work with as well. From the very beginning Bruce listened to the tastes/foods that were important to us and delivered on our special day. Jordan was a true hero handling our event rentals and making sure we had everything we needed for our bar service. Both were very responsive the entire time, and even hosted us for a tasting a few months prior to the event allowing us to sample what we were getting ourselves in to. I'd like to add that we also played a round of golf with them- these guys really love what they do and the people that they get to work with and it was really special for us to gain friends along the way. Thank you guys again for such a wonderful experience and we can't wait to work with you again soon!

All of our guests specifically called out the appetizers as being outstanding and memorable. Poetry in Motion was a truly custom culinary experience, which meant a lot to us. We got to choose recipes and food items that were important in our journey as a couple, and PIM did their own spin and incorporated everything seamlessly into our menu. They were even able to recreate a family recipe as a dessert we served! It also wasn't just the product. Karen and all of Poetry in Motion were a great vendor team to partner with. Everything about the food was delicious and outstanding, and her team was truly a delight! We received so many great comments from our guests about how much they enjoyed all the dishes and desserts, and the impeccable and friendly service. We both savored seconds of the sea bass and ravioli! In addition, it was an unusually hot day in the Santa Cruz mountains, and PIM went the extra mile to set up water stations for our guests in the many areas we gathered.
