Breakfast burritos, and if so, which one? Or do I go breakfast sandwich? I do love a good biscuit afterall. I had originally come across Busy Bee's on Yelp and was drawn in by their massive cinnamon roll, so that was a must. Perfect for sharing too, since it is so big. For my main breakfast though, I got the Biscuit Sandwich, which was massive. It was loaded up with bacon and the scrambled egg spilling over the side. Made me full for many hours, but was so worth it. Came here on a Saturday morning and the place was poppin'. Time for hot breakfast items to come out was about 20 minutes after ordering. Luckily that did not include the cinnamon roll, which we got right away. I had planned on only taking a bite or two and saving the rest to share with others later, but it was so good I ended up taking about 5 bites before saving the rest. Can't wait to come back here and try some of the breakfast burritos. They have some very unique options you don't typically see, so excited to see if they taste as good as they sound!

Ok let's get this out of way. Busy bee is a caterer first and cafe second. I say that because…read morethere's no inside seating and no bathroom. Order inside, grab a pager, and pick up at the window. Do I care? Not really. The food is quite good. Let's start with the biscuit. It's HUGE, moist and flaky. The honey chipotle sauce doesn't work for me but honey butter is fine, even if it's a bit sweet. I'd prefer salted butter on this very good biscuit. Old Faithful: voted best breakfast burrito a few years back and it's good but best ??? I don't know. The bacon and veggies are much better than the ham or sausage. Biscuit Sandwich: the flaky large biscuit can make this a little hard to eat and, as I said, I don't love the honey chipotle sauce. The Capitola: Chicken salad sandwich on herb bread. Not heavy on the mayo like some places. Defn repeatable. Mixed berry muffin: the berries were fresh but the muffin itself didn't stand out. Probably need to try the cinnamon roll. Staff is friendly.

Angela is not only a talented chef, but she was truly a joy to work with. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Angela was always the perfect combination of confident and flexible. She is happy taking charge on menu creation or building around a couples tastes. She was also able to get creative to accommodate veg/pesc/vegan guests and those with food allergies. Her staff also did a great job bartending and were generally putting out great vibes all night. I can't say enough good thing and I will absolutely look her way again when I need a caterer!

We had a guest list of 150, and Angela and her team executed this very high quantity of food without sacrificing any quality or taste. We had the roast chicken, tri-tip, potatoes, asparagus, mixed greens salad, and rustic bread loaves. For our appetizers, we went simple and just did the cheese & charcuterie plus shrimp cocktail. I am so glad we went simple and "bare bones", because everything was well prepared, well presented, and delicious. And we still had a lot of leftovers!! Angela was also great to work with - very responsive and well communicative throughout the process. And her staff on site was fantastic - they did bussing and made sure everyone was satisfied with their meals. They also made sure that me and my groom had a chance to eat - which I have heard a lot of couples say they never get to eat the food at their wedding (I was determined to - it's the most expensive meal you'll ever have!!). The price was less than what other caterers charge, but with all the service and additional fees it still comes out to a pretty penny. But I'd do it again, because honestly there were no complaints from guests. And it's worth spending money for good food, good service, and happy guests. I'd recommend Angela blessing for any wedding or special event - glad I found her on Yelp!

When we came out on the dance floor to do our first dance we were then supposed to go straight into dinner. Our coordinator had us sit down at the head table for h'ordeurves first. As I sat down I realized why. The food buffet was not yet set up! So we waited some awkward moments till we went to the buffet. The food was cold. It was flavorful and exactly what we remembered from the tasting but some flavor was lost due to the temperature. I looked around to see some very nice but very stressed servers but no chef. I had no idea that Denna would not be attending our wedding! I assumed she would be there overseeing our event! Also I had left instructions via email to her that our sangria needed sparkling water added once in arrived. It was never added and our coordinator had to go table to table to pour it into people's glasses. This caused us to run out of sangria early. We had to mix it ourselves morning of in order to even offer it. So was disappointed that the one job they had was forgotten. So glad everyone had better luck than we did. Maybe we had her on an off day.

On the day of the wedding, the three person team that worked that day were very professional and nice. Everyone had nothing but nice things to say about them and the food and drink. We worked primarily with Morgan Thomas who was very helpful. We had a backyard wedding, so Feast for a King set up a whole external kitchen outside of the house to prepare all the food. They did a stationary apps table and some tray-passed apps (the ahi mini tacos were a huge hit). The staff also set aside a plate of apps for us during cocktail hour as we were signing our marriage license, which was very thoughtful--since with all the chaos of the wedding we probably wouldn't have eaten anything during cocktail hour otherwise. We were able to provide our own alcohol and select a few signature cocktails, and Feast for a King provided a bartending team to prepare and serve the drinks. We got lots of compliments on the cocktails and the team also was able to set up welcome drinks that were ready for guests before the ceremony. All of their staff on the wedding day were extremely kind and professional (a few wedding guests mentioned this to us specifically). For the main course, we chose two types of paella to be served family-style. The food was fantastic and the family-style service was seamless. They were also able to accommodate all types of dietary restrictions with no issues. We had a ton of leftovers and the staff packaged all of the leftovers up for us after the wedding so we could enjoy it later. They were also able to cut and serve our wedding cake that we got from a local bakery for no extra cost. Lastly, they were also very helpful in providing in-house rentals, and coordinating specialty rentals from a number of different rental companies. We had a wonderful experience with Feast for a King and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else!
