I booked a private car through My Limo in East Hanover, NJ for a special night out in Manhattan -- a Michelin-star dinner that I had planned well in advance. Their website clearly advertises a limousine or Lincoln Town Car experience, so I expected something along those lines. Instead, a Tesla showed up at my door an hour and a half before our prepaid dinner reservation. While the driver was polite and professional and the ride itself was pleasant, the overall experience was not what I paid for. I was charged nearly $200 for what felt like a basic ride I could have booked on Uber for half the price. When I complained, the company told me this was "standard" because they outsource rides to third parties -- something I was never informed of beforehand. To make things worse, their idea of making it right was offering me 10% off the base rate -- a grand total of about nine dollars, which is less than what my latte costs me daily. That token gesture only underscored how little they value their customers' experience. For anyone expecting a true luxury or private car service, be aware that what's advertised may not be what you get. Transparency and honesty matter, especially at this price point. If you're looking for a reliable high-end experience, I've had much better service with EmpireCLS, who actually deliver what they promise. read more

First time hiring My Limo and found their drivers, Jimmy (on the ride into NYC) and Joaquin (on the ride back to Jersey) we're impeccably dressed, engaged in friendly conversation and most importantly drove responsibly arriving and departing as scheduled. Highly recommended. read more

Used My Limo years ago for frequent business trips to/from airport and always had excellent service. Recently used them for a family trip to/from Newark airport and we were very happy. Drivers were on time, friendly and excellent drivers. Perfect dropoff and pickup. Vehicle was clean and well maintained. Booking online was simple. Prices were very good and communication was excellent. Loved not having to drive and park at the airport. Looking forward to using them again on our next trip. read more

My family uses another car service company, and I decided to go with My Limo after getting estimates. A lot of other companies quoted higher prices (some with gratuity and tax included, others with just base prices). My Limo's pricing was very enticing and I was afraid there would be hidden fees when I got the bill, but it was exactly as promised. Their service is sooo good! As a person who hates chatting on the phone, My Limo would send confirmation emails the day before pick up. Plus, the drivers would text you when they arrived. A major win in my books! They also have an app where you can book your reservations. The cars are roomy and seem relatively new. The car service I've used in the past had their leather seats peeling away. That's not the case with My Limo. Finally, the drivers are super friendly. Luis was very friendly and made small talk with us. Donald was amazing and was so patient with us since there were so much delays with getting off the plane and waiting to get luggage, plus the traffic at Newark was insane when he came to pick us up. I would definitely recommend My Limo again and will definitely utilize their services. read more

Prompt, professional, friendly and good communication. Was able to accommodate my reservation on short notice. Would definitely use again!

Their drivers constantly drive well over speed limits on residential streets. We have called numerous times to no avail. SLOW DOWN.

I called my Limo weeks ago for an upcoming trip. I was on hold, disconnected and the finale was not being able to leave a message and no return call? Over 27 years of my business and this is your idea of customer service? Call someone else. They don't deserve any good reviews from me. I'd give you no stars but not allowed to post that. If there was a rating less than one star I would give it to them. I was quoted one price and because I had to check with with others traveling with me & didn't book at that time but called back the next day they wanted almost $300 more because I didn't book that that time. Horrible that they wouldn't honor the rate that I was quoted even though they admitted they listened to the phone call & confirmed what I was quoted. That's terrible service. Where is the customer service? I would not go back to them. I wouldn't use them ever & would never recommend them. Horrible when you admit fault & still don't honor rate you quote. F- rating. read more

Thank you so much for making my daughters birthday a great night! Mike, our driver on 1/18 was so friendly and patient driving our group into the city in the snow. Thank you to My Limo for giving my daughter a gift bag...that was so sweet! It's always better to go to a local business and I'm glad we did. read more

IN 1 LINE: Safe and reliable, upscale car service! CUSTOMER SERVICE: My family has been using My Limo for 29 years! The drivers are always on time, reliable and safe. This past week, we had the most entertaining driver ever! After greeting us, confirming our flight schedule and that we had all of our travel documents, he asked whether we wanted music or a quiet ride. We said music would be great, and then a conversation began about our favorite singers. Fast forward ten minutes, and we were all singing together and rocking out! *Craig is the best driver we ever had with My Limo!!! Thank you so much for a safe and surprisingly fun drive to the airport! We will never forget it! read more

We used MyLimo's car service to travel into New York City from Jersey and back. The van/bus was clean and showed up on time. All the things that you look for in a car service. It was also very easy to book the reservations and we were able to get a flat fee for the trip so we knew what we were going to pay so we could budget appropriately. Great service all around! read more

We used My Limo for all of our wedding needs. They supplied, at moderate prices, airport pickups, limos for the wedding parties, home pickup of my parents, shuttle bus from the hotel and even our Rolls. We did have a small issue which was resolved by the owner himself. It's great to know that owners will invest their time. He truly went above and beyond and made everything better. We have referred another couple to use their services because of the great service. The drivers were all courteous. The vehicles were spotless. Everyone was on-time if not early (except the 1 issue we had which again was resolved immediately). I would suggest using MyLimo for all your limo/car service needs. read more

Communication pre-wedding was great! They were flexible with some last minute changes and good pricing.

Very professional group - on time, very kind and friendly . Will use them from now on for my airport needs

Just weeks before my daughter's wedding celebration, we found ourselves in need of transportation to and from the wedding venue for our guests. In the typical fashion, I contacted three companies. My Limo promptly returned my email with clear concise information about their vehicles and the cost. I called them and spoke with Bob. He answered all my questions, and addressed every concern and I booked on the spot. There was no need in my mind to compare My Limo with anyone else. I knew My Limo was the vendor I was going to use without regrets. Bob kept in contact with me all the way through the wedding date. He was fantastic to deal with! On the day of the event, they were prompt, courteous and professional, and even upgraded the vehicle! The bus was spotless inside and out, and the driver was extremely courteous and professional. I can't recommend MyLimo.com enough. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate! They will not let you down. I look forward to using their service in the future, and will recommend them without hesitation. Steve G read more

A great experience and half the cost of the competitor. While an employee was in NYC he used Uber to get from the city to New Jersey. The cost was over $300 each way! The next day he needed to make another trip to New Jersey so he called me to arrange a car. After gathering a few quotes, My Limo was the best price by far. I contacted Tracy through the website - the contact form was hard to use, but I found Tracy's email in the company listing on the site. She responded promptly, estimated the time for pick up based on our arrival needs, and finalized the details. She was helpful and professional. Our employee said the cars were very nice, drivers were great, and service was the best. I would definitely use My Limo again! read more

When a company has a website, you expect it to work, right? Well this one's doesn't.....ever! You are supposed to be able to make online reservations - page times out. You are supposed to be able to get online rates quotes - nope, they say "to be determined" and make you call. Don't pretend to be an easy-to-use company if you are just going to be an inconvenient one. read more

If I could give no star I would! I used this company for transportation to JFK. Upon arrival our driver, Gene, said is was $280. While surprised by the cost we paid in full in cash. When we returned from our trip I contacted My Limo to inquire about the cost of transportation to JFK. I was told the trip cost $180. I explained what had happened and how our driver, Gene inflated the price. My Limo stayed that they did not believe me because Gene has been for some time and they have never had an issue. They basically said we were lying. I will never you this company again. They are THIEVES!!!! read more

We used them to go 7 miles after an event. The guy was early and wanted to leave right away. He would not stay out any later than scheduled even though I spoke to someone about it when I booked the car. Driver was rude and unaccomodating. Charged us $60 to go the 7 miles. Car was clean and the guy could drive though. Have used them in the past and the driver had no problem doing whatever we wanted. May have been the driver this time read more

Good communication, easy to book + wedding day logistics worked according to plan. Thank you to Michelle for all her help in planning!

I used My Limousine Service for providing transportation for my wedding guests from Tarrytown, NY to the Bronx on Saturday, May 10th, 2014. They came highly recommended from a friend, so I was not worried about using a NJ based company for my NY travel arrangements. The 25-passenger mini bus arrived on time and dropped off all my guests within the tight window that my venue provided us. They also arrived promptly at the end of the night and returned all my guests to their hotel. I had the privilege of booking this reservation with Danielle. She provided me with great service and delivered all on expectations. They are priced very competitively and I will use them again in the future. read more

We used My Limo to take our group from New Jersey to New York City for Dia de Kos Muertos. Jimmy Panethere was punctual, actually a few minutes early, was nice to arrive and see the bus there. The second pickup location was difficult and Jimmy was patient and persistent while we tracked down the rest of our group. The drop off in NYC was right in front of the museum. He is an outstanding driver and patient and kind to our a bit rowdy group. I highly recommend Jimmy and My Limo for your transportation needs. read more

I have so many horror stories about airport limo companies until I found My Limo. Not only they haven't failed me once, their drivers are very professional. The best thing about them is you can simply book their services by using their IOS app. Their fees are reasonable and all inclusive. I just got home from Mexico and uses their service again. I highly recommend you give them a try. BTW, they didn't ask me to write this review but I felt they deserve it. read more

As graduations are coming up again, I reflect on the service I received from My Limo for my graduation. My school only allowed five tickets for entry into the commencement ceremony and I had about 15 guests who came from out of state. I needed to know what to do with them while I received my diploma so I booked the bus so they could tour New York. The driver picked most of my family up at my place in Jersey took them on a tour of some of the popular sights in Manhattan, picked up a couple family members who came over on the ferry and met back up with me at the Javits Center when I was finished. We then went to Little Italy for dinner and back to Jersey. Everyone commented on how helpful and friendly the driver was. Even waiting on my elderly stepfather to make multiple stops to the restroom. His connection times were on point down to the exact time our time was up. I would recommend My Limo for any events where you need a clean vehicle, friendly driver and are on a tight schedule. Thanks My Limo for the memory. read more

If you need any type of car service this is the place to Ave car service, limousine or bus rental. They have it all. I have used them for multiple group trips and they are wonderful. Very professional, great drivers and a pleasant staff. Tracy Reevey managed My Limo and she is excellent - fair, professional, well spoken and True to her word. On our last trip we had s little 'blip in the road' .I stopped in to see Tracy and I met Ron Messina, he is head of brand marketing. He is also excellent, eager to help and very intelligent. Booked a round trip bus to DC with a large group. The ride there was uneventful. At pickup time, once we found the bus, the driver informed us that the engine was smoking too much to make the 4 hour drive back to Brooklyn, and that the company was sending down another bus from Jersey with an eta of 9:10. The second bus arrived at around 10 o'clock. The belts were squeaking pretty loudly, which honestly would have been fine if that were the worst thing. I'm currently in the back of the bus. I dont feel safe on it at all. The driver keeps bouncing back and forth between lanes, hitting the rumble strips on the side of the highway and jerking the wheel back, etc. I'm worried he's gonna roll the bus. I dont think they should be driving buses with such poor mainxenance at highway speeds, if at all. Also, we're going to be arriving about 4 or 5 hours later than the original itinerary. read more

5 stars all the time, always. I first started using them when I was a meeting planner at Honeywell in Morris Township. Now I use them whenever we go to the airport or go for a stay in the area. Since my first review was reported, I'll try to write something that won't fall outside of Yelp's content guidelines. The whole truth, unfortunately, isn't allowed. I wish there was a "0 STAR" rating. The unprofessionalism was almost unreal. We were guests for a wedding 4/23. The sign in the lobby told us to be there between 5:30-5:45 for pickup. We got down to the lobby around 5:35 with about 10-15 others waiting for the shuttle because the actual ceremony was at 6:30. 5:45 rolls around, no shuttle. 6:00 rolls around, no shuttle. Hotel front desk can't get a hold of driver. A group of girls decided to take their own cars to the wedding at this point and that left 6 of us. 6:15,no shuttle. I called the company, no answers. At this point, we realize that we are most definitely missing the actual ceremony. A nice lady at the hotel cleared out her car and offered to take all 6 of us there because we had no idea where this shuttle was. As soon as we got in the car with her, it shows up (630pm- exact time the vows were due to be exchanged) Then he decides, he's going to take 5 more min. and use the bathroom. When he comes out, I ask him what took him so long and reminded him that the wedding we are attending is happening NOW. HE decides he's going to throw his hands up at me and yell at me - - because he's late. So as not to get ourselves killed on the way, we try and not have words w/ this man and get on the bus. As SOON as we get on the bus.. the overwhelming smell of marijuana clued us all into WHY HE MAY have been 40 min. late in picking us up. We got the venue just as the ceremony ended.(we were told Oh its just the hemp seating we use that you smell. I've been on countless shuttles...never heard of a company stuffing their seats with hemp that smells identical to marijuana. lets call a spade a spade here) We ran into the girls who decided to drive from the hotel instead of wait for the shuttle and they told us how they saw him,our driver, parked on the side of the road on their way to the winery. So we can only assume..in between trips, he sat in his shuttle, did his thing with the "hemp seats" then came for us. Company has offered very, very little by way of rectifying and fixing their mistake for our friends. Just..bad business and probably not worth the stress. Go elsewhere. IF ANYONE IS PLANNING TO USE FOR A WEDDING, slowly back away & consider other options. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! I had booked a charter bus with this company for my wedding. The driver was supposed to make trips all night from the venue to the hotel. Instead, he was parked in the back of the parking lot- no where to be found!!! When approached, he was AWFUL and RUDE to my guests. He insisted that my 2 elderly grandmothers could not sit in the front seat and that he was NOT going to come back for any additional guests included myself, my in-laws and my new husband. He came in to my wedding and interrupted the event to tell me HE WASN'T COMING BACK to take us home! When I called the company after the event to see if they could compensate the charge, they were unresponsive (i had to initiate the phone calls each time- they never called me back) and they were not nice and inflexible. That is not at all how a business should be run! read more

Looking for charter buses for a wedding or other occasion then look no further than My Limo. Their service is impeccable, the coaches are clean and in excellent condition, the drivers are prompt, professional and friendly and their prices are very competitive. This was the first time I've ever rented a limo, but it won't be the last time I call My Limo. From the moment I made my reservation with Gary to when our driver Pat dropped us home, I had a great experience with this company. Gary answered all my questions and gave me a reasonable rate as far as I'm concerned. A young lady left a message for me the day before to confirm my reservation. Pat arrived a half hour early, showed me all the features and amenities the limo had to offer. I couldn't have asked for a better driver really. He was very friendly and jovial, and at the end of the night very patient, lol. If anyone asks for a limo service, I'm sending them straight to My Limo. read more
