**Absolutely Disappointing Experience - Not Worth the Money** We hired this company for a wedding and were extremely disappointed, especially considering the high cost. The party bus reeked of fish and urine *before* we even got on. The smell was so overwhelming that two pregnant bridesmaids became physically ill--one ended up vomiting before the reception and refused to get back on. She had to find her own ride to the venue after the church. The stretch limo wasn't any better. The bride and groom's parents rode in it on a hot summer day, and the air conditioning didn't work at all. They were sweating, uncomfortable, and nearly passed out from the heat. When we called to share our concerns and how unacceptable the experience was, the company did absolutely nothing. Instead, they tried to shift blame by claiming the party bus was left a mess--when in fact, it was filthy from the start. The only person who acknowledged the issue was the party bus driver, who actually apologized for the smell--so you know it was bad. I'm also a travel agent and book a lot of transfers for clients. This company will be going straight on my *do not recommend* list. If you're planning transportation for a special occasion, I highly suggest looking elsewhere. Town Limo was one of the preferred vendors with our wedding venue. They are perfect if you are looking for a vintage car to give your wedding day that extra bit of glam and magic. We went with a '64 Rolls Royce and a Chrysler Stretch for the wedding party. I was truly impressed by the quality of service - Town Limo exceeded my expectations that they would simply be driving folks door to door. The drivers followed our pick-up/drop off schedule at multiple locations to the letter, no missteps. They were kind and friendly, treating my husband and me like King/Queen for a day. The drivers were with us through the whole ceremony; they even stayed to help with the doors to conceal me until my father and I were ready to walk. We had a very disappointing experience with Town Limousine. My son got married in November of 2022. There were a lot of moving parts to this wedding, so I made sure I gave the owner a detailed itinerary of the day (which included all addresses) and reviewed it with the owner the week of the wedding. Everything started out just fine until we got to our hotels. We had a car for my mother and aunt to bring them to the ceremony, and to the hotel in Jersey City. My mother felt the driver didn't know where he was going, and she was right, he dropped my 85-year-old mother and aunt at the wrong hotel a couple of city blocks away from hotel they should have been taken to. We were at our hotel looking for them when my brother-in-law spotted them walking up the block towards our hotel. We were all very upset, to say the least. Also, I hired 2 shuttle buses to bring our guests to and from the hotel and reception, and only 1 shuttle bus showed up. They found the other shuttle bus at the wrong hotel again! So, half of our guests were 1/2 hour late to the cocktail hour, including the bride's parents. Everyone was very upset! I, unfortunately, had paid in full, so when I spoke with the owner about the situation, he said he couldn't reimburse us any money for our troubles. He just gave me a half-hearted apology. There are a lot of reputable limousine companies out there, and Town Limousine is not one of them. What a mess, never again!!! read more

Called in for an estimate. Was greeted by A rude gentleman. He would interrupt me as I was speaking to ask a question that he needed to ask. When I wanted to ask and make sure they had buses to accommodate a certain size of gas. He would interrupt and ask questions were he wanted to know. One driver was rude and didn't give us the champagne we were supposed to get. Champagne glasses in the limo were dirty with lipstick and still had liquid left in them. After the ceremony the other limo driver opened a bottle of champagne and the bottle disappeared after that. They probably kept it for themselves. The rude driver also joked that the bride changed her mind about the wedding. Both drivers opened up the tip envelopes immediately after receiving it. Town limousine did a great job at our 11/3 wedding; they were our first and last choice of transportation providers, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. We had a tight timeline with multiple pickups, a chapel on a closed college campus, and multiple vehicles including a bus--from booking to execution, the team at Town dealt with everything very well. Transportation is one of the elements of your wedding day (or other major event) that is absolutely critical, but you only notice if something goes wrong. The professionalism of Town Limousine made it such that we never had to worry about them for a minute. That alone is priceless--but it was available at a good value, as well. We used Town Limo for our wedding and was very impressed by the service and courtesy of the drivers. We reserved the party bus which was clean and very roomy along with the Bentley. Very disappointing experience on my wedding day. We were contracted with Town Limousine to drive us from our home to Jersey City, and then from Jersey City back to our home later that evening. The driver was late arriving to our home. When he got there he asked our wedding planner, "So what am I doing? Where am I going?" When she told him where he was taking us, which he clearly should have known already, he said, "I don't know how to get there." Then when we got in the Escalade he said, "So I'm assuming all of you know where you're going and can give me directions?" This was ridiculous because 1) he could have / should have just used GPS and 2) it's our wedding day and the driver we're paying to get us from point A to point B shouldn't be bothering us for directions. It's not like we were going to an obscure location. It's downtown Jersey City. The icing on the (wedding) cake was when no one showed up later that evening to drive us home! We waited for 20 minutes past our scheduled pick-up time. We called and no one answered the phone. Luckily one of our wedding guests was kind enough to drive us so we didn't have to get an Uber. I just rented from them for my wedding this month and they didn't send the Rolls Royce to pick me up on my wedding that I paid for and that was on the contract. I then called them ON MY WEDDING DAY when I walked outside and didn't see the Rolls Royce.. and BOB said that I never ordered it. Yet I have a signed contract, money spent, and emails proving that I did. I told them I wasn't going to argue about it on my wedding but I will deal with it after and my response after the wedding is that he would have never agreed to send the car for the price HE WROTE ON THE CONTRACT AND THE PRICE HE CHARGED ME! So because he realized he gave me "too good" of a deal he decided to now say that's not what we agreed to even though he's the one that wrote the emails and contract?! He refused to reimburse me for anything, apologize, or simply acknowledge his mistakes. He then decides to tell me that I don't know what I ordered, since apparently I can't read the contract or emails.. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR ENERGY HERE!! Going into the limo search process for our wedding was a bit nerve racking - we had heard horror stories of other companies where the driver doesn't show up on time or is rude. I am so pleased to say that Town Limo was PERFECT in every way! Troy was our driver and we are greatly indebted to his professional service the day of our wedding. He was patient and took the time to help me in and out of the limo with my poofy ball gown dress. We found out after the wedding that he even helped our wedding coordinator hand our programs before the mass. We knew that this package came with a red carpet and champagne toast, but our guests (as well as my husband and I) were shocked/impressed when we walked out of the church for the receiving line to find the limo parked in front with chilled champagne and two glasses waiting for us to toast as husband and wife for the first time. This was a shocker. I heard great things about Town, which is why I booked them for the wedding. Asked for cash to warrant a discount, which was fine, but showed up late to my husbands house, late to my house, and right after the ceremony the driver warned us "you have 15 minutes until you start paying overtime" when we still had to get to a venue that was 30 minutes away. We left, got out of the limo, and there were two drivers standing in my lobby for the "outstanding balance" WHICH WAS ONLY PAYABLE IN CASH- sorry i didn't bring an extra $300 with me on my wedding day, I checked my non-pocketless wedding dress and said, can you send me a bill- "THE BOSS WANTS CASH, ASK YOUR DAD" ---REALLY?!!!!!! I was fuming, all my wedding bliss flushed down the toilet by these two asking me for cash or they were "not allowed to leave until they received it." THE SUM THE DEMANDED was the equivalent of the DISCOUNT we recieved two weeks prior. WHAT A JOKE. Thank god I got married first to save my friends from this JOKE. That is so illegal, it's not even funny, you are not to demand cash- and I would call and complain, but I am satisfied from deterring my 5 engaged friends form using their services.
