Failed to clean carpet, showed little regard of our property, poor communication, rude…read more Things started off a bit shaky when it took 6+ calls to confirm our appointment, we kept being forwarded to voice mail during normal business hours. We had water leak through the foundation of our basement and soak a portion of the carpet. Somebody from D & D Carpet Care came out to clean it, I don't know their name since they didn't introduce themselves and didn't speak much english. He hit the projector mounted to the ceiling with his vacuum wand after I warned him to watch out. He didn't acknowledge me or the event, just kept going. He started by spraying a thick concentrated line of cleaner down the middle of the area, then lightly sprayed the rest of the carpet. He followed up with the steam vacuum but was pushing and pulling it so quickly that it was skipping off the floor. He didn't spend any extra time on the area he sprayed with extra cleaner. After packing up he just left, leaving the basement door open and without saying anything. I was waiting for a while wondering if he was coming back. Nope, he and his van were gone. I think he said a total of 5 words. The room had a very strong cleaner smell, so strong it was giving us headaches. We used our little wet mop vac in attempt to suck up some of the soap left behind, it didn't get much of the water we sprayed down, but it picked up tons of dirt, dust, hair, etc. If our property management company wasn't paying for the service I would be requesting a full refund. Unless you love the smell of industrial cleaner and poor service, I'd choose another company to clean your carpet.

They went the extra mile and did some additional cleaning as well, our living room carpet and stairwell smell like oranges and look almost new. The prices are very reasonable compared to other vendors, I highly recommend D&D.

I would not recommend this company…read more We paid $740 to have the carpets cleaned in a two-story house, even though the going rate for a house this size is around $350. The technician was only there for about 1.5 to 2 hours, and the results were very disappointing. When the cleaning was finished, the technician mentioned there was one stain he could not remove. I wanted to inspect the work, but he kept ushering me out, saying, "It's wet," and assured me it was only a small stain that was barely noticeable. Unfortunately, I trusted him and made the mistake of not checking everything before he left. After the carpets dried, we discovered it wasn't just one small stain--there were several stains and spots that had not been removed at all. When we contacted the owner about the issue, instead of standing behind the work, he tried to charge us extra to address problems that should have been handled during the original cleaning. Our landlord then referred us to a different carpet cleaning company. They charged $350--half the price we paid--and cleaned the entire house properly. They were able to remove all of the stains that this company claimed could not be removed. To make matters worse, when my husband left an honest review about our experience, the owner responded with misleading statements, including claims about offering a "refund" that never happened. He also tried to argue over the difference between "spots" and "stains." Regardless of what terminology he wants to use, the fact remains that the marks on the carpet were not removed, and we paid a premium price for poor results. We overpaid, received subpar service, and then had to hire another company to finish the job correctly. Save your money and look elsewhere!!!

The cleaners did a great job and they were communicative. I paid over $700 for carpet cleaning in…read moreaddition to what was paid for a whole home cleaning. The carpet cleaner finished very quickly in about 2 hours and mentioned to my wife that there was one spot that he wasn't able to remove a stain. After closer inspection after he left (we were moving), turns out there were 6 stains that were not removed. I inquired about having them come back and completing the job and removing the stains but was told that it would cost more money to attempt to clean the stains. A different company came out and completed the stain removal with little issue. I'd give the cleaning crew a 5 star and the shampooing guy a 1 star. If you want your home cleaned well, I'd recommend. If you want your carpet shampooed, go somewhere else. Especially if they are charging a premium, essentially almost $350-$400 an hour is what it worked as. Also, I don't think the option of charging more money to complete the carpet cleaning was the appropriate remedy.
