We have been going to My Gym since my son was 7 months old. JJ is now 2.5 years, and we still love attending classes. I highly recommend this play gym! It is such a wonderful, nurturing, and fun place for your kids. All the teachers LOVE their job and the owner Ms. Olga has such a passion for children and their development. Their classes continuously have new programming and new toys, and I can honestly say that each class has been different. They offer parents night out events, camps for days when daycare/school will be closed, and special parties for events like Easter, Mother's Day, Halloween, etc. It's been such a joy to see JJ grow and thrive, and we really feel at home here. JJ asks to go to the "gym" ALL the time to see Ms. Olga, Ms. Marci, Ms. Christina, and Ms. Sierra, and after attending their Memorial Day camp, JJ said, "I love it here!" the facility is nice, however, customer service and their online portal are terrible! I had to book by calling because their portal wouldn't allow me to schedule classes. I also cancelled my membership over the phone but the company refused to honor the cancellation. The next month they charged my card 9 times and I had to spend all morning getting their attention as to the duplicative charges. They would not honor the cancellation or provide any classes as an alternative so they took money for zero services. Poor customer service read more

Do not do a trial!!!! Horrible customer service. The owner was extremely aggressive and rude. We did the trial and since we didn't cancel our card was charged $149 for 3 months and a refund was refused! Warning! Stay away! My Gym was a godsend to us when we moved here from NYC Metro at the start of the pandemic with a toddler. We were able to book private play dates at a reasonable price and safely let our toddler play inside and develop gross motor skills with our small pod. We were so grateful for it, especially during the hot summer days! They recently switched owners and I'm happy to say that the new owners are equally great! They are super accommodating and able to provide a great indoor space for kids to play! We recently had a private play date with a group of 2-3 year olds, as well as an 8 year old sibling and they all had a great time. read more

My daughter attended the Ninja Training class and absolutely loved it. She was obsessed with the amazing coaches who seemed to genuinely care and try to make every kid feel special. Her favorite coaches were coach Bryan, coach Heather, and coach Brianna. This class was fun and creative obstacle courses, gymnastics, and yoga. They even include a kid power minute at the end where they discuss important topics kids should know like what to do in emergency situations and anti bullying. My husband found this place from an online search (we are from out of town but we're visiting for a wedding this weekend). We have a newly turned one year old and soon to be 3 year old and they loved it. Our one year old can walk and was having a grand time climbing up and down stairs, ramps, ladders and into the ball pit while our almost 3 year old rode the little car, swung on the bars and jumped on the trampoline. I can't recommend this place enough. The classes are an hour long - perfect for my toddler. The instructors are enthusiastic and engaging. The activities are exciting and varied for the kids. The entire layout is changed weekly to make it new and fun for the children. To make a sweet deal even better, this location has an "Active Play" area, meaning you can bring your enrolled child in during non class times and they can play freely. Equipment is mostly cleaned weekly, but the ball pit is cleaned monthly. This isn't nearly enough. My only other issue is the wooden play structure. Often there are other things placed right up against it, which makes it difficult to run around the structure and grab your kid right before they land on their head after falling off the top rung, which is about 6' high. You can't reach through the play structure to stop them from climbing where you can't catch them in case of a fall if stuff is blocking you. Otherwise, these are minor issues. We will keep coming back. It's fun for us both. read more

This place is pretty great. We went here for a 3 year old's birthday party this past weekend and my little girl (16 months) had a pretty good time. They assigned our group two coaches that lead the kids in all sorts of activities. The coaches were every attentive and learned the kids names so fast. My kid was a little too young for the structured activities, but they had all kinds of stuff for her to distract herself while everyone else played. They had ramps to climb, a ball pit, mats to jump around on, tunnels to crawl through and all kinds of balls to bounce, throw and roll around. They made the birthday girl feel very special and had everyone wish her a happy birthday several times throughout the event. Toward the end, they brought the birthday girl out on a sled with balloons and had her wear a crown and pink boa. She had the biggest smile on her face and looked like she had the best birthday ever! My one issue is that, although very clean, it seemed cluttered. They have a bunch of equipment I feel they push to the side and isn't neatly put away. This, at times, made it hard to get to some of the stuff during the free play time. read more

My boss asked me to book her 5 year old a birthday party the week before the weekend she wanted it. It was challenging to find an open space anywhere and I'm *so* glad My Gym came to the rescue! They had one more slot available. From the start over the phone they were very professional, caring and courteous. We picked the more expensive of the two packages and it was totally worth it! All we had to bring was a cake. They had *everything* else we needed for the party and the 5 year old was even able to choose a theme for her party decorations. We love this place! My daughter(3) and my son(5) both attend classes here. I have been very impressed with the workers and how quickly they learn and remember the kids names. I like how they encourage independence with the kids too. And then there's the bonus of the free play area that you can go take your kids to anytime of the day. We can't say enough good things about My Gym of Austin! The family I nanny for enrolled their son in the Waddler's class, and I had the pleasure of accompanying him to class on many occasions. (And whenever I did, he could not be more excited to go to "gym class" as we call it!) The curriculum is incredibly well-suited for the age range (in this case 23 months and under) with the perfect balance of structured exercises and free time to explore the gym. The playdates are a wonderful offering as well, especially on super hot and/or rainy days. And finally, this review would not be complete if I didn't acknowledge how wonderful the owner, Celestina, is! She is so warm and welcoming, and she has been so receptive and helpful with any questions that arise. Brought my preschooler here on a Friday to play. He had such a great time! It was $8 to play for the day and we were allowed to leave for lunch and come back. The play space was a good size and there was hardly anyone there with the exception of right after a class let out. There's a trampoline, a ball pit, slides, bars, and plenty of things to climb on. The class side is amazing!! We had to opportunity to try out one of their programs that is on Friday afternoons (a semi-organized play group) and it was great! My toddler had a blast. It's too far for us to sign up for classes, but we will definitely go again to play. read more

My 3 year old loves this place, so I do too. The teachers are warm and know how to deal with toddlers. The space is really big and there's plenty to do to wear a little monkey out. I love that the free play area is always available and that they change the configuration weekly. I only wish I had discovered it sooner. My 21 month old daughter loves this place. She doesn't take classes but goes for the free play they offer when classes are not in session. The active-play area is great for my 2 YO twins. HOWEVER, the pricing strategy is a racket. We paid a $75 membership fee, and were previously paying an addl $5 per visit, per child. Now, just a month after paying the $75 membership fee, we have to pay $7 per visit, per child. If you have a membership at a gym, shouldn't entrance be free? I regret getting the membership and am considering hiring legal representation to help us get our $75 "non refundable" membership fee refunded. read more

The other parents and kids in his class are very nice. I LOVE that Free Play is open all of the time - great place to go in-between places (if/when needed). They change the set up of the play area weekly so it is always interesting and new for my little guy. The staff also make a great effort to keep things clean. My Gym SAVED me last summer! The facility is very clean, bright, & inviting, and the instructors are awesome with the kids! It's well worth the price to join a class.
