The coaches are positive and focus on safety, and there is a sense of mutual respect between coaches and athletes. There are a lot of optional extra classes in tumbling, flexibility, jumps, and stunting; my girls would go to the gym every day if I let them. The community at EPIC Elite is great - there are fun, positive parents which makes team bonding events a pleasure, as opposed to a chore. Why 4 stars instead of 5? The new program started at the beginning of the summer, so I'll update when we're a little further into the year. As a new program, some of the processes and communication are still being ironed out, but the pros far outweigh the growing pains.

Unfortunately, our experience did not match those expectations. During a trial day, a young autistic child became upset after a developmentally typical frustration in a new environment. Instead of observing the calm support, co-regulation, and individualized approach we expected from a program with this stated level of expertise, we experienced a response that felt escalating rather than supportive. There were also concerns with the emotional regulation of the leading staff member, and online records that reinforced concerns related to emotional regulation and safety. The biggest concern was the disconnect between the program's stated philosophy and what we observed in practice. A moment that could have been handled as an opportunity for connection, regulation, and teaching instead left us questioning whether the environment was truly equipped to support autistic children in the way it represents, or any child. Ultimately I did not feel comfortable trusting my daughter to Magnolia. I am grateful we had the opportunity to see this before the school year began, but it was disappointing to have to reconsider so close to the start of school after believing we had found the right fit. Every child deserves a program whose practices match its promises.

As a single full-time working mom, I had a really hard time getting used to the idea of sending my son to a full-time school at such a young age. But I can honestly and truly say that he has blossomed there. His language and social skills have developed so much. He's in the Saplings class and loves talking about all of his little friends and teachers when he's at home. My absolute favorite thing about farm school is how they spend so much time outdoors. My son comes home tired and dirty and talks about his "nature walks". I love that it's play-based, and that they don't send home dozens of art projects per month. I love the all-natural materials, the wooden toys, and the home environment in a center setting. My son helps make lunches, wash dishes, clean up the tables, sweeps. And the ANIMALS! He's always raving about the goats and the bunnies and the cat. It's just such a wonderful, loving preschool. And the food for the young kids is vegetarian, organic, local, and seems to be quite tasty. I can't recommend this school enough.

They communicate with parents via the Tadpole app with daily reports, announcements, and pictures. I have total peace in mind when I drop my kids off every weekday. I know that they both love their school and are very comfortable with all their teachers.
