Brought in almost 2 dozen Decor items which were almost if not in perfect condition. After driving across town and hauling in all the items one clerk whom I was dealing with took less than 3 minutes to deny all of my items. She stated that we don't accept items that hang on the wall aka Mirrors, Framed Prints, etc. Yet on their website it states they accept items from Stores like Homesense which 80% of my items were purchased from! Perhaps they should state that on their Website to prevent others from wasting their time and fuel. Also, the two ladies that were present at the store when I arrived seemed like they turned down their nose and judged me on my relaxed and casual appearance. It was my day off so pardon me if I wanted to be comfortable and casual in my Yoga pants and T-shirt! I won't be returning to this store nor will I be recommending anyone to consign items here. read more

I appreciate they are seasonally strict, you wont search through winter items in the summer or Summer items in the winter. I'd also like to point out their attention to detail. No need to worry about Pilling, fading or overly worn items. This is addressed during the consigning process. If time is money, consider this money in your pocket which is why you are there in the first place~ Clothing, shoes and accessories are in good to excellent used condition. This shop does a fantastic job grouping their items by colour which adds to the stores clean and tidy appearance. My review is based on customer service. I did consign some designer items. But, I didn't love the experience created by two shop attendants (2 of several working this day) Based on previous YELP! Reviews & their legacy in Edmonton, I wanted & expected to love this shop! Customer service was just non existent ! The energy in the store which adds to a guests experience was non existent. I left feeling disappointed that My Favorite Aunt's did not provide a better experience. One SMILE and this review would be 4 stars, But, it didn't happen, not one. I had suit bags over my arm, a women walked over. No greeting, No smile. I thought I had walked into the wrong business, as she looked confused. The associate said nothing so I cheerily announced the reason for my visit. The representative continued to look Bewildered, and pointed to the 'sorting room' in the back. No smile, just a hard finger. THE SORTING ROOM: The attendant assisting me was professional and skilled. It was clear the sorting room was a well oiled machine, I appreciated their diligence. All points gained in efficiency in the sorting room, were lost by the end of the experience. No smile from this worker either. That's saying something, we were together for 10 minutes & I was so darn CHEERY! She was Professional and my compliment ends there. For this i'm not sure I will return once my consigning period is over. This is unfortunate! My seasons (Spring / Summer) are coming ! Customer service aside go have a look. I love the name of this shop. There's nothing like getting hand-me-downs from someone who's fashion sensibility is just like yours. This place is a treasure trove. It feels like you're sifting through other people's closets, which was always something I loved to do. You can shop by clothing type or by colour. I hit the pinks, the reds and the turquoise section, and found lots of stuff I liked. The prices are reasonable, although not the cheapest consignment I've seen, but the quality is high. There's also a great purse section and shelves of shoes, organized by size. If you're looking for jewelry, there is a smaller selection, and at the back of the store there's consignment home decor. Right now there's a wide selection of Christmas stuff, from etched wine glasses and candle holders to ornaments and wreathes. There's also a big selection of winter coats and snow pants at the front with top names like Columbia and North Face. They look brand new, but the prices are lower. read more

I found out about this place as they are a drop off location until May for Cinderella's Closet, the organization that gives grad dresses to girls who need them. After dropping off my dresses, I had the chance to look around and saw they have kids clothes and toys, ladies clothing, shoes and accessories, and home wear. I'm not familiar with another place consigning homeware and it was really cool to think that you could also send your items there to be consigned. I thought the selection was good and was excited to see the plus size section. I tried on two shirts and a handful of capris and thought the quality was great. I ended up buying a pair of AE capris for $15 that must have been almost brand new. Shoes were well priced as well - in the $20s for the few pairs I picked up. I didn't check out the kids' section but there seemed to be a lot there as well. I grabbed a flyer on consignment and, as I've never consigned before, I appreciate how they've clearly identified the expectations! read more

Sure, it's a great shoppe, but their attitude (and this isn't just once, although my last experience presenting the season's pieces for consignment from my closet was shaming - not humbling, but shaming) is suspicious, dismissing and, dare I whine, mean. "Won't sell". "Out of date". The message is - "you're too big" . . ."your clothes aren't nice enough". Honestly ladies, if you don't want to deal with folks a little different from your clique don't pretend to be in the second hand business. I brought multiple items to consign. The room at the back went through my approximately 30 items in 5 minutes which was fine as they are most likely knowledgeable in what they want to consign. I had read their website so knew what they normally take. They did not take any of my items. I was not offended as I thought they knew what they wanted. I was however offended by how they treated me. They looked at me like I was a bug on the floor and said the style of this clothing won't sell here. I am a professional who works in management who happened to be on a day off and decided it was time for a change in my wardrobe. I was wearing a pair of leggings and t-shirt. It appeared to be the wrong items to wear to bring in consignment by the look they gave me. I still was not offended as their attitude was their problem and not mine. I brought my items back to my car and went back in as I thought I would have a look around while I was there. I took about 5 minutes to find the same item as 2 of the pieces I brought in for consignment. So much for my clothing being a style that they do not sell at this store. My advice is lose the attitude. You are not better then other consignment stores. Don't judge people by how they look. Watch what you say. Be honest and say the truth about why you are not taking items. Consignors just have to peruse your store to know if you are being honest. You have a great space. Just learn how to speak to your clients both those who buy and those who want to sell. Long ago I brought items in here to consign, when you sold children's clothing. I'm not sure what changed. I have been here a couple times now to consign some of my huge wardrobe and looked around...made the odd purchase. The staff for the most part are very nice, you might catch one of them perhaps on a "off" day but it happens. My gut says that this is just an average place, but having said that I can't explain why. I don't tend to frequent these typed of places- rather just give my stuff away so maybe that is why. Well - what can I say about a store with rude staff, rude management and zero compassion. I spoke with these people more than once to discuss items I had for consignment and they did not tell me their specific criteria for items consigned. Clothes need to be on hangers? Well thanks for letting me know. I drove an hour to bring these items. These were quality clothes. Cookbooks need to be new. Oh so these particular ones aren't up to your standards. So maybe tell me which ones you won't accept. Ok. Nasty attitude and very unwelcoming atmosphere. Not a smile to be seen. But the worst was their utter lack of compassion for a customer who was desperate for a washroom - and they sent her a couple of blocks to Tim Hortons. Really sad. I love the treasures you find at second hand and consignment shops. This store is clean, well organized and has a good selection of modern and wearable clothing. The prices are higher than most second hand stores (shirts around $10-15, jeans $25-50 depending on the brand). The clothes are all in like new condition and clean. Many of the items are arranged by colour (as opposed to size) which means I can target the colours that look best on me and avoid the yellow and pink :) They also rotate clothing so everything is in season. There is a fairly large kid's section and a growing housewares collection. No men's clothing though unfortunately. The beauty of consignment shopping is there will be something new each time you visit. I'll definitely be back to see what else I might find and to scope out the 50% sale rack. I've been supporting this business since they opened, 30 plus years ago and have stopped. The owners attitude is that this is a high end store. It's a used clothes thrift store!! They used to keep 50% of the sale, now they keep 60% which I feel is a ripoff. They assume no liability for loss of your items so it doesn't matter to them if they put a security tag on items. I've asked them about putting security tags on more items but they don't care because it's really the consignors loss. read more

I have been taking items to consign here for years and I trust the staff here to be fair with pricing and what you ultimately collect as a consigner. The store is very large and well organized and the drop off staff are nice to deal with. They give you a clear, itemized list on your consignment contract and they also put little notes on your rejected items so that you know what the issue is - for future reference. I will not be returning to this store, which is unfortunate because I pop in a few times a year and usually find a great dress. I checked online for hours and it posts 10-5. My daughter and I decided to drive over (25 minutes) after work one day to find her some shorts and have a nice browse. We arrived at 355 and began to browse. I had three items in my arms and the shop clerk told us we had five minutes left. I was surprised and asked about the hours posted online. She said, "We just changed them because it's not busy." I said we had come from across the city and had hoped to browse. She said we have a few minutes to try things one and that's it. Although I have never been treated rudely by the clerk, I have found many times that the info on the website is sadly lacking and truly, good customer service should come first. It took us another 25 minutes to drive home in rush hour traffic. Not only was this last minute change very mickey mouse and unprofessional, I put all my items back because no one wants to be rushed out the door when they are shopping. I was especially annoyed because I did my due diligence and checked online to confirm hours. When I arrived home I checked again and indeed, it stated 5pm close. I will not be back. Vespucci, Good Stuff, and Red Pony are always open when they say they will be and they are so attentive. Prices are not everything. Customer service is really essential and frankly, with Poshmark online now, I can access an entire nation of second-hand designer clothing for discount prices on my phone. LOVE this place! They have a really great selection of pretty current fashions. All the clothes are in amazing condition and the prices are awesome. Whenever I go I plan to be there for a good few hours to allow plenty of time to browse through everything. I have always left with a ton of great clothes. The store has a great selection of anything you could be looking for. The only thing I could suggest to make this place absolutely amazing would be to organize the clothes by size as well (the shirts are only organized by colour), this can add a little unnecessary sifting through clothes. read more

What a great little consignment store I had no idea existed until very recently! It's bright, smells great and they have a nice selection of women's items in top condition, a selection of children's items which I did not peruse, and a small area in the back with some home decor pieces. The service was pleasant and the store recieved quite a bit of traffic while I was there (apparently lots of people are familiar with the place). I lucked out and found a beautiful embossed leather clutch by Gucci for $75. The location is a bit obscure but I do recommend checking this place out if you're the type who likes to shop for a good deal. read more

I have brought clothes here several times to be consigned. It really irks me how they make you come back after a couple of days to take the clothes they didn't accept. Why not make a 15 minute appointment and just give back what you don't think will sell instead of making the seller come back? Also I find their selection process baffling at times. read more

I love this place. Have been shopping and selling my clothes there for years now. If I could give one suggestion would be to organize by size within the colour groupings. It would save the consumer a lot of time. Now I buy mostly for my grandchildren but find the odd treasure for myself and I do quite well at selling things I no longer wear. read more

I recently brought some great items to this consignment store. It took a few days for the staff to look over the clothes and come up with prices. My mother also brought in some clothes, she had some winter jackets in great condition. When my mom told me how much they were selling our items for, I was shocked. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to go in there and take my clothes back because I didn't want them to have any of it. If you have good quality clothes you want to sell and make a decent amount out of, I'm sorry but it will be sold at a ridiculously low price. So please keep your good quality, expensive clothes. Example: Brand new Lululemon pants (had a hard time selling them online, thought I would give this place a try) rip tag still attached, no pilling. They were selling them for 35$ and I keep 40% of that. So I bought them for close to 100$ and I am making 14$....I couldn't believe it, it's actually humorous. Don't get me wrong, it's a great place to shop and buy good quality items...well that's because the prices are soo low. I just thought my items were in such good shape that the price would reflect that. However, I would rather have my clothes sit in my closet for years and wait to sell them for a good price then collecting a few dollars. I found it insulting. I might just start giving it to the less fortunate, at least I will have a good feeling inside knowing I helped others. This place does not value your clothes for what's it's really worth. I am not sure who decides how much an item should be priced to sell but whatever they're doing isn't fair. Take home advice: Please keep your new/good/expensive quality clothes, not worth taking there! read more

Lovely selection of woman's clothes including designer jeans and brand name (lululemon, etc) athletic wear. The shoes were in decent shape and I walked out with several purchases for a good price. The clerk was very friendly. Much of it was organized by color. The other side of the shop is children's and teen clothing and a large selection of purses. Having grown up in a fashion forward household I have spent more than my fair share of money on clothing. I thought I would give consigning a whirl and had heard great things about this shop. When I arrived with my items the woman behind the consignment desk was flat out rude. A couple of my items which had been worn maybe twice since purchased she pulled out and said "there is no way these were purchased recently. Wide leg pants are not going to sell." I posted them on a buy and sell page on facebook and they sold within 2 days. I have no objection to consignors deciding what they are going to take as they can gauge their clientele. I do however find it extremely rude and arrogant to give a person a couple select items to take back that second when the person is coming to take whatever they didn't decide to sell and donate it, as we like to support the Woman's shelter. Another girl employed there looked somewhat embarrassed and said you're much more thorough than I am at drop off. To be honest I won't return once my contract is up. I felt like I had done something wrong dropping off my items in the first place. If you want to consign go to Good Stuff on 142 St. Much more professional shop in my opinion. read more
