    12$ for these was amazing!

I had never heard of Plato's Closet before. I had a client tell me about how they can have 6 kids in all of the back to school clothes they needed for under $200. I suspected they were just rags. I had to see for myself, so that afternoon I popped over, I had a good look around and headed to the mens clothing. I was impressed when I picked up a brand new set of Vans shoes for only $12. Mind Blown!!! Then I scored an awesome American Eagle shirt for $12...how is this possible. I am sure to go back and I have mentioned it to a few of my friends. Now I owe my client big time for letting me in on her little secret!

Nice little vintage shop hidden behind whyte ave. There was quiet a large selection of gently used items. Items were organized very well, winter sweaters and clothing at front of the store and summer discounted items at back. The Price point was very good. And you could find items like lulu lemon and Aritzia on their own separate sections also at very good prices. I was presently surprised at the large men's section as well. And I even saw a few Oilers jerseys for sale. Only down fall is there wasn't a lot of older unique vintage pieces here. More items you'd see in the shops in the last 5-8 years.

I liked the selection and organization. The staff was helpful. I now have a frequent shopper card. One punch for every 10 bucks spent. Fill it up and you get 20% off your purchase.

First time coming here today, and it was fantastic! I usually struggle in thrift stores because of the way everything is structured, as a lot of stuff is just thrown on racks. Although stuff is donated, the quality of the items are "brand name" and in great condition! Heck, they have sections for Aritzia items! The selection of items may be a hit or miss, depending on the day and what's been donated, but for today it has been a hit! I was served very quickly and kindly for a fitting room. The ladies at the till was also very kind, especially when I was asking about some shoes that were behind the tills. Overall, I have decided to make a commitment with my friend to come here once a month. This place is awesome!

Gently used Lululemon wrap up jacket I bought for $45.

I LOVE this store! Last Friday, I came here for the first time. I could literally spend hours perusing the racks here! I found most of the items ranging around $10-$45. Fair prices considering the brand names and good condition of the merchandise. I was a bit overwhelmed with the selection in this store, but after calming down a bit, I was able to simmer down and make some decisions on my purchases. I found a gently used Lululemon wrap up jacket, which easily retails for over $100, and bought it for only $45! I also found a Babaton blouse (from Aritzia) which easily retails for over $60, and bought it for only $10! I also found a Ted Baker handbag for $8! Ted Baker purses, are not a brand commonly sold or well known in Edmonton. I'm not sure what the original price of this bag was, but I'm sure it was at least $100 or more. What a steal!! I found this store clean and well organized. In addition to clothing, they have an assortment of jewelry, shoes and handbags for sale. They also have a men's section. Fitting rooms are also available. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store is conveniently located in the the Whyte Ave area, close to McDonalds. This is a great store! I'll definitely be back for more!

I've been shopping here for a quite a few years now, including at their former downtown location. The owner and her staff have done an amazing job making the space feel like a welcoming treasure hunt. They always happy to offer suggestions if needed or allow you to browse on your own. Since everything here is one of a kind, I have my best luck when I'm not looking for something specific. The price range is extensive - you can find regular priced dresses for $50 but they also sell some luxury designer items for $1000+. Truly something for everyone. If you're looking for a deal, I recommend keeping an eye on their social media and looking out for their blowout sales.

They have a lot of vintage designer shoes and clothing, fur coats, wedding dresses, just so much good stuff. Do yourself a favour and look in the drawers and bowls to find even more stuff. Earrings and lace gloves and mirrors. The hat selection is amazing but it's the shoes that bring me back from manolo blahnik, to Dior. My favourite purchase from there is still 80s cowbow boots that I get compliments on every time I wear them. I love the owner Angela, she is really open about where she does her collecting and is a super interesting lady. A chat with her and a gander in Swish always a treat.
