I have recently switched one of my child to join her other siblings here after comparing 2 dental practice. Here is the true story: One of my child (A) goes to another dentist nearby. She would get charged additional $80 for every cleaning after insurance coverage. I have compared what;s included in the cleaning procedure and its the same at both dental place but my dental insurance would cover 100% at Dr. Skuben's. Recently Child A dentist said she had 4 cavity and needs fillings right away. Given Child A very vigilant with cleaning , i decided to have Dr. Skuben looked into her x-ray for 2nd opinion. What made me decides to switch my child A to Dr. Skuben is Dr. Skuben would so patiently explaining what really need done and what's unnecessary for now to avoid unnecessary pain on the poor child. I like a good honest dentist. Of course, my child ended up switching provider to Skuben's office and never look back since. She ended complimented her procedure to be less painful than her previous dentist! Dr. Skuben and Dr. Huang are great dentist. You will be in great hands.

I went to a new dentist last year and didn't like that office either because of the constant upsell of procedures. It is so close to where I live, there is plenty of parking, the office is clean, there's plenty of seating in the lobby, and everyone was so friendly! I got to meet Dr Skuben and she was so nice! My appt was with Dr Huang and he did my exam AND cleaning and he was amazing! He was so nice and friendly, but most of all he was gentle and it didn't hurt! Invisalign is great here as she spends the time to look at my progress every month. I did not expect any rushing with her process. I heard stories at other clinics, the orthodontist would rush the sanding process so that they won't have to do it later, leaving embarrassingly huge gaps between teeth. Here, the Invisalign service takes its time and only sands between the impacted teeth as needed based on the upcoming Invisalign trays (Still, I was shocked by how much sanding was needed for me, which is acceptable because that is what gets the job done). The cleaning is great here. Her assistants are very nice and personable. Creating appointments here are punctual, so it's hard for me to miss my business meetings while I have a dentist appointment in the middle of the day.

Hi, Watch what they charge you here!…read more I came in today for a cleaning that was supposed to be free as it was the end to a periodontal procedure I had done. When I walked in they tried to charge me a "copay" of $75 for an antiseptic rinse as well as a hefty charge to my insurance. When I told the front desk girl it was supposed to be free she said the $75 for the rinse was part of the procedure. I told the girl "I think I am going to pass" as the entire charge just seemed wrong for me and my insurance. As soon as I walked out my phone was ringing and all of the sudden the rinse was optional and "please come back". I won't be going back. I do not trust this dentist or their billing practices! Good luck if you go here! Jim
