This is a great place to watch a game, meet up with friends, or just hang out. They have beer pong tables, tons of TVs, and a great beer list. Most of all, however, you're always welcome when you go there. The owner is the nicest bar owner I've ever met. He works very hard to go around and make sure everyone is doing well and satisfied. The service is second to no other bar in the city. The food is great as well. Definitely a Wisconsin bar feel and the food menu matches that. Lots of cheese, bacon, and burgers. These guys are amazing. The food is on point and the service is impeccable. They know how to bring In a fantastic crowd and keep them entertained and happy. If you are ever in the neighborhood ask for McGady or Bondurant - they know how to do it! Most drinks are very reasonably priced and some of the higher end cocktails are only $6.50. !!! My friend brought me here because this is her FAVORITE bar. It has ample room and a number of beer pong tables....who knew. Drinks are great! Servers check on you frequently. It appears that food is put out for patrons to partake in. The wings were killer. Not too hot, not too spicy...just right. They have drawings for Buddy Bucks which can be used toward food and drinks. This is a great spot if you happen to be in the neighborhood. I drank, I ate, I played beer pong and won, and I even made a couple new friends. All in all a great Saturday if you ask me! I really want to like this bar, but I just can't! It's close to my house and we really need a low key neighborhood bar in the area with simple bar food. That's what I want my buddy's to be, but their beer list is overly complicated (they have a punch card where you can try a bunch of local beers and get free drinks, but it's so convoluted and has to be completed in such a short time it's impossible to actually complete), and their food isn't very good. I've had two different burgers and their tater tots, all of them have been trying too hard, and really miss the mark flavorwise. I didn't even know it was possible to mess up tater tots! I've tried to come in three times for them to change my mind but sadly this place is a dud. Two stars because at least it's a bar in an area with few casual meeting spots with alcohol nearby, but it could be so much better. read more

Had my sister's 40th bday last night and let me tell you... The service here is fanfreakingtastic. These guys and gals went over the top catering to our fun loving drunken demands. Nacho, wings, and tots bar complete with cheese fountain, Awesome DJ/karaoke, 2 of the nicest bartenders ever (Annemarie and cute boy I forget your name #titos) you guys made my sister's night epic, thank you thank you for everything!! Service is terrible. I ordered a drink at 10:57 (was waiting for 10 minutes) and they said the it was "past the cut off time". I said okay forget it. Needed a burger fix... was planning on going to some fancy spot , get a 20 dollar burger and a glass of wine but just didn't feel like spending the money anymore. I chose buddy's because their burger is one thick patty ... I do not like two thin patty burgers, reminds me of fast food. This is a cute little place with a odd menu choices some of which were good some needed some sprucing up. But our server/bartender Briana was very personable remembered our names very sweet. My cousin and I had a great experience at my buddy's! The service was awesome, both my our waiter/bartender and the owner or gm popped over as well. We both thought the food was really good! Solid bar food with a southern sorta feel. Fair prices, good drinks and a cool space. My cousin had the fried green tomato blt and I had the shrimp taco and steak taco. We started with the crab dip. Love this place! First, they have a ton of TVs (more than most bars/restaurants) so it's a great spot for watching any sports game. Second, their food is actually really good. My favs right now are the tachos and steak taco. Also their salads are huge and delicious. And lastly, the location is great. I went in last night with my girlfriend and had a good time. The location of this Bar and Grill is a perfect fit for the neighborhood. Only thing is I just noticed this place two weeks ago as I was stopped at the red light. It was crowded, but we got a table ourselves. The Bears and Packers were playing their first preseason games of the year and they were playing beer pong by the DJ music both, so the place was very loud. It was all good though, the atmosphere was great. It is a long spacious bar with games and plenty of nice locals. The staff was great! Brandon was awesome. He overheard me talking about how the bar was divided into a green bay and bears section because the owners are rival fans. Lol. He knew I wanted to see the Bears game and he got us a table near the front to watch the game. Kaitlyn was a nice waitress. She could not help us when we moved. Not her fault. Food was great. I had the abuddy Burger and my Lady had a chicken salad. We will be back. Maybe for the Bears vs Packers game. read more

We were really excited to try this place since it's right down the street from our house. We used to go to Peking Order all the time!! The servers are very friendly. The portions are very big. I was surprised by $4.99 for a Taco but they were pretty stuffed. The food was all very good. My biggest complaint would be the alcohol. I drank draft beer, the glasses aren't cold and my beer wasn't very cold. My first beer was $8 and my 2nd was $7. The person I was with got a bottled cider and it was $7. The bottle was colder than my draft. I was surprised that the drafts weren't very cold and the bottles were that expensive. read more

I came as part of league and for the most part we love it. probably the two biggest complaints are that the cheapest beer is 5 bucks, and the appetizer, although good, are limited. We went to My Buddy's for the first time today for an event mixer for Chicago Market. First of all, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. The event had some salmon specials and they were so delicious (a taco and a salmon spread with dill and spicy sauce on top). Because those were only samples (and we like to eat) we ordered the muchacho totchos of off the regular menu. Holy moly. The description does not disappoint; mountain of tots with sour cream, cheesy goodness, scallions, pico, and the fresh jalapenos. I was so happy to see fresh ones versus the pickled. I love spicy. The best part is when we were halfway through. There was still a decent amount of tater tots on the bottom, and the goodness from the top made it to the last bits of everything. The chicken brought it all together, too. Hours later, we couldn't stop talking about those totchos. We talked about it so much, that we just had to write a yelp review about it. Go get it. We came to celebrate a friend's birthday after we found that our first choice was closed for the day and I was surprised how delicious the food here was. The chicken taco and the shrimp taco were tasty albeit the shrimp taco's sauce was tooooo spicy. We also had a salad, sloppy joe's, and the vegetarian burger - everything was good, especially the tater tots that came with the burgers. The three people who ordered drinks were satisfied with the selection of drinks. The prices on the menu are lower than what you'd pay up in Andersonville.
