This message is for European wax center company: My only negative comment is regarding the wax product being used now I tell it has been changed. The wax doesn't set the way I am accustomed to, having visited European for over 10 years. The texture of this new wax is noticeably different and more difficult to work with. Despite this, Zabrina does an excellent job of managing it and making my visit pleasant. If the wax type was changed, it should be reverted to the previous one. I encountered a similar issue at the their Round Rock location and almost stopped going to European altogether. I found they just opened this location so I have it try, but again it is the same wax which is why I may need to change. However, Zabrina's high energy and exceptional customer service have kept me coming back. If the wax does not return to its original quality, I will not be renewing my wax pass once it expires. I will also need to update my review to a 1 star rating not relating to the people, but to the company due the product being used.

I get to the appointment 5 minutes late and she tells me that she can only work on me for 5 minutes because she has someone at 5pm. OK so I understood that and continue to proceed to the appointment. I get to the appointment, she does just the bottom of my brows and sent me on my way with no mirror or asking me how I like it, NOTHING and still charges me the full balance of $37 even though she did HALF the job! $37 for 4 minutes of work is absolutely disgusting! I will never in my life return to this business again that was extremely unprofessional and not cool because I have been coming to this business for years! She clearly has no consideration for her clients. I am an aesthetician myself, and I could never in my life imagine doing someone like that. To put the cherry on top when I get out of the appointment, the woman that was behind me was a few minutes late so she could have worked on me until the woman got there, but didn't. I never knew in my life that taking two minutes out of your day just to keep someone happy would be so harmful to your world!!! Honestly, a true spit in the face! I saw this place near HEB and noticed a lot of grand opening signage with some great discounts, like $5 for eyebrow threading instead of the usual $10 price. When I walked in, the place was empty and they were able to assist me right away. It is a very bare-bones type of place. Clean, but a little worn feeling -- doesn't really feel like it is a brand new space. I didn't know what I wanted really -- just wanted some better shape to my brows, and they quickly sold me on the threading/lami/tint package for $60. Within moments, I am getting threaded (minimally uncomfortable -- maybe a bit more discomfort than waxing), then some perm-like chemicals are applied to my brows while I wait (they advised I would feel some stinging), then the tint, which took the least amount of time. I will say, I was nervous about how all of this would look. While waiting, the friendly technician chatted with me and explained that this was the third of a chain of brow studios they owned in the Austin area, dating back several years. When everything was complete, I have to admit, my eyebrows looked way more defined than ever before. They sent me home with a spooly and some styling wax. I was a bit conscious that maybe they were too noticeable on account of the darker tint. But actually, I have settled into them now and I think I would absolutely get this done again. I'm happy with this service and would love to come back and try the facials and other services that they offer here.
