My son was put on a serious eye muscles exercise for his eyes to work together, and also a training for better reading habit. The improvement was astonishing! In just a few weeks, his symptoms were almost gone, and he started developing better reading habit. His not even complete with the whole program yet, but his reading is already off the chart (some at high school or college level), but his performance in sports also improved. When I look for any doctor, i care about their medical knowledge, patience to listen and appreciate my concerns and if they are respected by their colleagues and patients. Dr. Bloch is more than that, he's passionate about what he's doing, and he genuinely cares. These good qualities also show in the tidiness of his office, and his whole team of staffs. My family really appreciates this partnership in this process with Dr. Bloch and his team.

Our Event Coordinator, Katey, was exceptional. She is a true event professional who provided outstanding guidance and support from start to finish. She took the time to ensure we had everything we needed to create the perfect event, making the entire planning process seamless and enjoyable. The food was outstanding. The variety of menu options was impressive, and every item was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The hot dishes were served hot, the cold dishes were perfectly chilled, and the contemporary presentation elevated the entire experience. Chef Karla, Chef Dan, and their culinary team did an amazing job. Our event was held in the Sunrise Suite, which is the perfect setting for a cocktail party--especially at sunset. Although we brought a few decorative touches of our own, the space is truly event-ready, with stunning panoramic views and a beautiful outdoor deck that our guests thoroughly enjoyed. Our bartender, Damon, was warm, personable, and incredibly hospitable. Our server, Bunny, was friendly, attentive, and efficient. He anticipated our needs throughout the evening, and we never had to ask for a thing. Every detail was handled flawlessly. It was truly a privilege to host such a successful event while supporting an incredible nonprofit organization that serves our community with such compassion and dedication. We wholeheartedly recommend TERI's catering and event services. They are simply impeccable!

The entire experience has been nothing short of fantastic since the first day I ever waved goodbye to my toddler, leaving him in the care and educational guidance of amazing teachers, interns, and classroom helpers/volunteers! On entering and exiting the adorable CDC of MCC you are always welcomed with warm greetings and sent home with generous well-wishes by the woman behind the front-desk, Mark or Linda! (directors of the center) This school, located on the MiraCosta college campus, is a laboratory school meaning that students of the college studying Child Development are allowed to learn from children at play via observation booths or hands-on activities within the various classrooms in the center. Parents, of course, sign a waiver consenting to allowing their child to be observed. I think this aspect of the school is wonderful! It's like educational mutualism: everybody benefits! It's also great because as a parent or relative, you can visit your child's respective classroom observation booth and watch your kiddo in their natural element without them even knowing you're there! Each classroom is comprised of children within the same age range and the ratio between child and teacher is adequate and comforting! Children engage in many different kinds of play and learning every day of the week, in fact, teachers often plan their days based on what they have seen their students finding the most interest in! While the classrooms have routines that they try to follow to create that sense of a schedule for the children, it is never 100% cookie-cutter final: the children too can help drive the direction in which the activities go! The actual classrooms themselves are spacious and feel organic! (I LOVE the use of natural light to brighten the learning space and the fact that the classrooms are not equipped with those cheap, plastic climb on toys you might find at any other preschool-like setting!) Instead the classes are furnished with wooden structures for climbing on, cozy reading areas, play-pretend nooks, various child-sized round tables for a variety of different activities, spots made with specific themes in mind: science, math, writing, nature, ect, a place for group-time/gathering, and a lovely outdoor place space! Don't forget the tiny toilets! I have enjoyed my son going here as much as I believe that he too really enjoys being enrolled at this great preschool! The tuition is quite reasonable! The center offers rates dependent on whether a parent is a MIraCosta student or simply a member of the general population. The lines of communication are always open between families and the staff of the CDC, whether you'd like to speak in person, over the phone, or through email! I love when the center has events that bring children, their families, and the center's staff together. We really make a unique community!

IEP With Help was a great resource in understanding and navigating the IEP process. They were friendly and answered all of our questions, no matter how basic. They joined our IEP meeting with the school and district to help us get what our son needed. Thank you all, from two previously exhausted parents and their grateful son.

I reached out desperately needing an advocate after years of frustration, confusion, and getting nowhere with the school district. After just one consultation, they joined me at my sons' IEP meeting the following week, and I was in absolute shock at how much they were able to accomplish after just one meeting. What started with one IEP quickly turned into a series of strategic, intentional meetings, each one bringing us closer to accountability and real solutions. It wasn't overnight, but their consistency and pressure made all the difference. They asked all the right questions, the kind that only an experienced advocate would know to ask. They challenged the district in a way I never could as a parent alone, and they did it respectfully, knowledgeably, and with total confidence in my boys' rights. Watching them work was like watching people who not only knew the law inside and out, but who genuinely cared about my kids as if they were their own. From the very beginning, they walked me through everything step by step. They took the time to explain my sons' IEPs in detail, something no school team has ever done. I finally felt heard, empowered, and most importantly, supported. They made sure my boys got exactly what they were promised under FAPE, and when the district fell short, they didn't back down. Because of them, my sons now have a plan in place that will completely shift the course of their academic progress and self regulation, a direct result of the team's relentless advocacy and dedication. Madelyn spent hours behind the scenes using her investigation skills and due diligence to uncover the district's missteps, while Amber was like a legal encyclopedia, firing back with exact amendments and language without missing a beat. Diego especially... he should seriously become a lawyer. The way he advocated for my family felt like I had my own brother in the room fighting for us. That level of passion, knowledge, and care is rare and it's exactly what every parent of a child with special needs deserves. From now until my boys graduate high school, IEP With Help will be at every IEP meeting. That's a promise I've made to myself and to my kids. I am forever grateful to this team, my heart is full. If you're a parent who's struggling to navigate this system, please don't wait. Call them. They are the real deal.

Diana has exceeded every expectation. She uses the UFLI program and we have seen real progress in both boys' reading skills. Diana is AMAZING, and worth every penny. Every week she comes with a new/different activity sometimes she has him dancing to songs about letters or shapes another time they are doing word puzzles. I was dealing with blood blisters, a poor latch, doubts and fears about supply, and a baby that was temporarily not gaining enough weight. As a first-time mom, it was extremely stressful, and there were many tears. However, Juliana's visits always left me feeling more informed, reassured, and capable. We also did a weighted feed during every visit, which confirmed that my baby was indeed getting enough to eat. I still remember the relief I felt when I learned that. Juliana is a big reason why I decided to stay the course with breastfeeding. (Thank goodness, because now I LOVE it.) My insurance covered the cost of the visits, so I just paid the $60 travel fee. I also attended her breastfeeding class with my husband before giving birth. This was super helpful, but I recommend taking the class within 1 month of your due date. We took it a bit too early in my pregnancy, and forgot a couple things by the time I gave birth. Overall, I would highly recommend booking a lactation consultation with Juliana if you're in need of support!
