I recently made a purchase from MX South and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The transaction turned out to be deeply disappointing due to misleading if not deceptive practices that were employed during the process. Initially, I was drawn in by a promising product review and competitive pricing for an item, which I paid for. I subsequently received confirmation of the purchase along with a subsequent notification that the item had shipped with the expected date of delivery. After waiting for the delivery, MX South abruptly canceled my purchase and submitted a full refund about 4 days later with the explanation that it resulted from a "warehouse error." Pretty ambiguous excuse, but to the average consumer, like me, it signals some issue or discrepancy related to the availability, condition, or handling of the product on their end. Understandably, circumstances like this might delay the delivery of an item. However, these obstacles are not so insurmountable that a reputable business cannot quickly overcome them to fulfill an order. I also find it dishonest for a company to inform a customer that an item has shipped because it means that 1) the product is available, 2) it's in good condition, and 3) it was handled properly during shipping, all three of which negative the convenient "warehouse error" claim. If the product was not available and not in good condition at the time of sale then the company was intentionally misleading, if not outright dishonest, when it notified me, that the item was on its way. It also defies logic to suggest that the company recalled the item after shipping unless they are not in the habit of inspecting things before they send them out, which signals another larger problem for customers. People reading this might wonder why I'm dissatisfied when the company promptly provides me with a full refund. It comes down to the lack of honesty, transparency, and professionalism. As a customer, I value integrity and clear communication in business transactions. I urge potential customers to exercise caution when deciding whether to deal with this company. Ordinarily, I would not have posted this unfavorable review, but my experience, coupled with reading the company's highly unprofessional responses to consumer complaints drove my decision. People judge what they cannot see from that which they can see. MX South has terrible business practices: the owner Jeff lies, steals and is the rudest, most miserable person I have dealt with. A while back I ordered a helmet he sold through Amazon, I returned it in perfect unused condition as the size was too small and got charged big restocking fee even though Jeff promised otherwise. I wish I looked him up before buying, Amazon did not do their due diligence on this unscrupulous business and I had a very unpleasant experience. All you need to do is read all the one star reviews for this obviously very small business located in Jupiter, FL and you will see a pattern in the responses given by Jeff Hirshberg, who if you do not know, is the owner of MX South and sells product through Amazon and via his own website. Anyone who has an issue is automatically attacked by this person. I have now been trying to arrange a simple exchange for a defective item dealing with "Jeff" through this entirely exhausting ordeal. He has been ignorant and arrogant right from the very first phone call refusing to give me an email to send pictures. This should be simple .. defective part .. return .. send replacement. Nope not for "Jeff" .. he sends insulting and threatening emails all while trying to praise himself on how wonderful he is handling the issue and telling the customer how unreasonable they are. Jeff take my advice coming from an expert in the field. As I mentioned to you via email I own several businesses myself. One of which is a consulting and employee training firm specializing in team building and on site customer service training. We work with a number of national companies that value the importance of customer service and team work. You sir are doing it all wrong. You are an absolutely horrible person and my opinion is clearly justified based on all of your replies to the valuable customers that gave you a one star review. Shame on you as a business owner. i ordered a trail tech digital temp reader. It was not the one that comes factory with trail tech. So i had no need and returned it back to the seller. After waiting several weeks with no reply or refund i reached out. Come to find out MXwack is a horrible, dishonest company. I strongly encorage anyone to save themselves the headache and read some of the other reviews which show clearly just what kind of company and person named jeff that you are dealing with. Well, I really disagree with those one star reviews... I spoke with a couple people @ MX South and every conversation was not rude, obnoxious or belligerent as a matter of fact it was quite the opposite. The person who finally took my order was Jeff, this Dude was way cool to work with. I looked at the manufactures web-site, gave Jeff the information that I had and within a couple of minutes Jeff drilled down to find the right seat for my FLSS and this guy was spot on! Brah, thanks for listing and being so kind & polite. If I ever need something again for my scooters, MX South is where I'll look first, although I must say that Jeff will be the person that I ask for, keep up the good work, because I'll be back as long as Jeff takes my order, thanks again for an easy transaction Brah!!! wish id done my research prior to buying from this company. i bought a sissy bar for 205 bucks that was advertised to fit my particular bike. it did not, so upon exchange of emails i was told to find something else and would make an exchange. unfortunately couldnt find anything from them. was then told to go ahead and ship it back for a refund. cost me 90 bucks to send back. come to find out they charge a 20% restocking fee on top totaling my loss to 140 bucks to send back the wrong advertised product. the problem arose when i brought up the restocking fee and was sent the most surprisingly obnoxious email back. as you can see, there is a pattern to how jeff responds to issues with products. its unfortunate as this could have been handled so much better. instead jeff took the high road and started accusations and being beligerent instead. had he simply told me about the restocking fee, or hell, even professionally responded after the fact that i could exchange and get my restocking fee back, all would have been fine. will attach email to show quickly it escalated. buyer beware. read more

MX South will block anyone trying to put a bad review on Amazon, Facebook is full of bad reviews, just read this lunatics responses! Their customer service is horrible!! I ordered a helmet through fly racing .com, not MX south. I guess mx south processed the order, well the helmet was chipped and scratches all over it. I sent a reply to fly racing and was responded by Jeff at MX south. All I needed was a return slip and replacement helmet! sent pics, they weren't good enough. sent more pics, still excuses! A week and 1 day, (business days), still nothing from him, but long rude emails. its simple. ha, not with MX South! Well it went downhill from there! If I could load the emails from him, you would be shocked at how he treats customers! If he cant handle a packing slip for a damaged helmet order he processed, than I cant imagine dealing with parts or anything else. He is a VERY miserable person and has plenty of time to send insults and humiliates customers on reviews that people post about their experience with him. If you like dealing with a business such as this, then deal with MX South! The worst customer service on the planet! That should be his slogan! Unbelievable! Jeff, you should try to treat customers with more respect and maybe you would get somewhere in business!
