We brought my son's 2018 honda civic ex hatchback to be looked at on saturday.I made an appointment and our service advisor was melissa llorens. He was having problems with his battery, so she told us it was going to be a certain price to have the car looked at and whatever they found that price would be put towards the service. She also recommended he get an oil change which was not actually needed.But it was close to the time.So I said, go ahead and do the oil change. I then went on to their website and there was a special for the oil change at $49.95 which included a complimentary car wash. We ended up replacing the battery, which was $210. When my husband and son showed up to pick up the car, we asked her if she would honor the 10% off service coupon on their website. She then stated two coupons could not be used at the same time.Which we understood.But originally, we were going to just use the oil change coupon and the car had clearly not been washed. From the time we dropped the car off to the correspondence with her during the evaluation and the pickup she had zero personality, very miserable.And no people skills. She also wanted to up sell us on something on his tire thread for $500. We bought the car at coggin honda in fort pierce and we'll clearly making the drive north for any more service due to how rude, inpersonable, and basically lied to us abt what was needed. Brought my car in for an oil change, the mechanics put in too much oil, the mechanic loosened a screw on the gasket. They said I needed brake fluid service, which was not the case, I had my car rechecked by a licensed mechanic, as well as transmission fluid service again not the case all fluids were well off. This Honda dealership vacillates between fabulous and disappointing. I have purchased multiple cars through them because their customer service was so good. The last purchase was a couple of months ago and it was a used car that was not clean. Yesterday I brought it back to the dealership asking for a detailing and they told me they would detail it. Obviously, they did not do anything other than wash it because they were still sand on the floor and obvious dirt from the previous owner on the elbow rest. The last and final time my husband waited over an hour just to be told " we don't have the part." Never going back . I stopped in today with only 1 hr notice call and came in about 45 min before they closed. The gentlemen listened to my concerns with undivided attention and immediately checked out my car, no wait time. Arguably the best customer service I've ever had. He diagnosed the problem quickly and even got the car into the shop and fixed what needed done. They went right up to 6pm close time and they never once talked how close they were to closing. Worst experience!! they sold me a battery on Monday but could not diagnose my battery draw that day so scheduled me an appointment for that on Saturday. i got up early Saturday, drove 40-45 minutes to my appointment just for the Service Advisor (Ashton) to tell me she has be there for 20 years and never heard of that problem (google 2018 Honda CR-V, class action law suits and thousands of complaints for exact same problem). Day of our appointment receiving service personnel gave us an estimate of 1 hour max, took our car and directed us inside to employee Lance. Lance was very rude and did not want our business. I bought a 2020 passport there years ago. I continue to use them for regular service. Their online service scheduling program works very well, but I've also gone in there for minor emergency, such as tire damage, and they've accommodated me. The prices are fair, and everyone's really friendly. They've got free coffee and snacks. I usually just wait on my car, but they do offer a shuttle. And if I'm ever in the market for another Honda, I'd use them again. At the time I bought my passport, I was living in Wellington. Did not have a good experience at this location. Although the salesman was nice he was WAY TOO pushy. I made it very clear I was not ready to purchase that day but was seriously looking for when my Jeep lease ended in a month. I told him I could not afford the payment he proposing at the time to which he asked my then boyfriend, "Well what do you do for a living" and then asked him "well why don't you pay for it then" after he answered. Brought my car to replace rear shock absorbers on Friday (07/19), and service was good. Then, I was told it's done on a call, paid over phone, and my service agent, Mitchell, said sales will hold my keys for me. I picked up the keys from the woman at the front desk at 7:30 pm, and she pointed to the SE side of the parking lot, stating my car's over there. She also told me I can come back any time after closing that night since I had my keys to pick up the car. I came at 9:30 pm the same night, and it was nowhere to be seen near service, where they said and it always is. Then, I saw, it was still behind the locked gate. I have no clue why, since it's always been parked outside for me to drive when it's finished and they give me the keys. Then, someone drove me there again in the morning to get my car, and all I was told by the only guy working outside at service the next morning (Saturday) was basically oh I'll get your car and I don't know why it happened. Was great service until I came to pickup the vehicle. Kind of disappointing to see from a car dealership's service department. It was nice of my friend though to drive me back again in the morning... Possibly look to other places for service with the most integrity. read more

Oh boy. Buckle up for this one. I get a Warranty Extension/Recall from Honda stating that if my A/C hasn't been working to come in for a free inspection and if my A/C condenser isn't working it will be replaced for free. I take my Civic down there and they tell me that if they replace the condenser it will be free, but that they will charge me 325 dollars for filling up my Freon after they fix the issue. I agree to this. They do an inspection and note that it is my A/C compressor that is causing the issue (not the condenser). They quote me a price to fix it. I tell them that I appreciate the low price, but of course want to shop around a bit. I am then told that I can not take my car unless I pay the 325 dollars. Again, they did not fix anything and then fill it with Freon, they merely put some Freon in to check where the leak is/was. Now they tell me they will hold my car and start charging me a fee every day (after the 2nd of next month) that I don't pick up my car in addition to this fee. It gets better. I'm then told that in an act of "Good Will" that if I allow them to fix the compressor they won't charge me for the Freon they put in after they fix the compressor (the 325 charge). The price they want to replace the compressor... 325 dollars. The "Johnson Honda Service Consultant" I spoke with assured me that they do this all the time and that it is "totally legal." Remember, this all started from Honda sending me a letter in the mail advising me to come in to have this checked out and replaced for free. As a veteran I usually let USAA help guide me to good dealerships when dealing with car issues, and in hindsight, I should have done so here as well. I'll try to keep you all updated. read more

The salesman, Danny, was pleasant and informative and let both my husband and I, drive the car. He did make a copy of my drivers license but took no other information, no phone or email.
