Customer Loyalty means nothing! Me, family members and friends have been purchasing many new vehicles from this dealership since 2004. Must add up to at least 25 new cars. Yesterday I went to trade in my lease for a new lease. Details of the negotiating are not important but long story short the deal fell through and left without a car. Why? Because at the last minute, i was informed that to make the deal, i had to take a dirty, hard driven demo car with 5k miles on it! Quoted price didnt apply to a new car. But the Managers Special was a filthy used one. After so many years of loyal service, I am very surprised that an exception was not made and allowed to take the newer model. Brought a perfectly working car to Hyundai dealership at Fort Pierce for an unti-theft recall. When I got it back, they resemble the steering wheel too tight that it was rubbing, and they totally broke my ignition system. They were incredibly rude and I was forced to pay $525 for a new ignition system that was working perfectly when I brought the car in the first place. After protesting with Hyundai USA Headquarter I did got reimbursed for the money. However They"forgot" to tighten the battery connection which made it sometime impossible to start the car. When I brought the car back to fix it they wanted to charge me $250 to "diagnose" their mistake. I took my car to my mechanic who diagnose the problem right away and fixed it for free. When you buy a car you "get married " with a dealership as you will need them to service it for the rest of the car life. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience from start to finish. I was actively in the process of buying a vehicle and was told to come back later to pick it up. The salesperson, Mybel, assured both me and my boyfriend that the car would be placed on hold until our scheduled appointment so we could test drive it and finalize the deal for $8,000. Before our allotted appointment time, we were shocked to learn the car had already been sold to someone else. Despite this, Mybel was rude, dishonest, and completely dismissive of the situation. It got worse. Mybel asked me to send a picture of my check over text to "prove" I had the money -- this was after I had not test-driven a single vehicle and after the car I made a deal for was already sold. I genuinely don't understand why any sane person would send a photo of a check for a car the dealership just admitted they no longer had. That request felt highly inappropriate and unprofessional. To make matters worse, one of the sales managers later called me claiming they had two other Hyundai Elantras available. I showed up again in good faith, only to be shown a Chevy Traverse instead. For context, I'm 24 years old with no kids -- trading in my Mazda 3 for a large SUV made absolutely no sense and felt like a push to unload whatever they had on the lot rather than listen to the customer. What really says a lot is that two of this dealership's sister locations openly told me they do NOT recommend sending customers to this specific location. A bottle of "Wynn's Combustion Chamber Cleaner" was left in the engine bay so that it wound up jamming down into the pulleys damaging the water pump belt and the alternator belt. It also turned out that the oil change that was part of the servicing for which the car was given to the store left the engine 1 quart below the required amount. On Monday March 3 I contacted the dealership at 772-283-6000 and left numerous messages, some forwarded for me by the operator and one left in a voicemail box. One with the customer service rep, Steve Shakely, two with the service department manager, whose name I was told as being Joe, and one for the store manager, whose name I was told as being Amir. In addition, through Sunday March 2 and Monday March 3, I sent four text messages to the service representative Steve Shakley's work text messaging number including a picture of the damaged bottle that had been left in the engine bay. I received no contact from the store for any of these communications, and thus had to have the car repaired at an independent shop for $357.57. I also had to rent a car that cost me over $60.00, and was greatly inconvenienced at a time when I had guests staying with me with whom I had commitments which required a vehicle. It is clear that the store purposely avoided responsibility for the damage they caused to my vehicle. I took my car in for 30,000 mile servicing. I was told it would take about three hours. I also ask them to look at one of the tires because it was leaking air. I didn't get my car back till late at night. The woman at the servicing desk told me that the technician couldn't find any problem with my tire and that he had even soaped it. The next morning I had my mechanic come over to look at the tire. The defect in the tire was immediately noticeable. My mechanic asked me then to open the hood of my car. He told me that he doubted anybody he had even touched my car since none of the dust had been disturbed. I also bought a bumper-to-bumper platinum warranty from this Hyundai dealership. I was told verbatim that it covered everything except tires, brakes and windshield wipers. When an issue came up with my car, I called the dealership and again I was told it covered everything except brakes, tires and windshield wipers. However, when I called the insurance company I was informed that it only covers mechanical functions. After calling back Hyundai again they changed their description of my policy to a "limited bumper" to bumper warranty. When the paint started peeling off my car, they wanted to spot paint each area individually necessitating that I bring my car back repeatedly for each peeling section. BUYER BEWARE. I bought my wife a Certified pre-owned vehicle and drove it home only to find out that the car would not lock and one of the tail lights had a puddle of water in it. I immediately turn around and go back to the dealer and return the car. As you should know that the ALL of the vehicles functions should be checked as part of there 150 point certified pre owned check list. They told me that service had closed and they will look at the car Monday. My wife and I discuss later that night that this is ridiculous that we buy a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED car and we can't even lock it in our driveway. We went back to the dealership the next day and Amir the GM immediately puts us into another CPO without questions asked. I drive the new CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED car home only to find out the that both of the tail lights have puddles of water in them and one of the tail lights was cracked! I call the salesman and tell him. I bring the car back in and they look at the car. Gio the salesman tried to argue that water in the tail light HOUSINGS is "cosmetic" and is not covered under CPO warranty being that the tail light bulbs still work. I argued to him that the functionality of the tail light housing is compromised being that water is getting in the housings and will damage the internals of the lights eventually. After the argument and some other people inspecting the lights Gio the salesman tells me that they are gonna order the partS and sets me up with an appointment. A couple days later and only a few hundred miles, the service light came on! I call the salesman and he tells me to just reset the light because the technician may have forgot to reset it during the CPO process. Being a technician myself I refused to reset the light without having documentation of the last service which I was not provided upon purchasing the vehicle. Gio my salesman told me he would be to busy to get the service documentation that I wanted and I would once again have to come into the dealership and get them myself at the service counter. Kind of ironic that a couple days after the salesman told me to reset the service light. I go to a family member's house and they tell me that there is an oil stain on there brand new driveway where my CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED vehicle was parked. I crawl under the CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED vehicle and the engine is heavily leaking oil within 15 days of ownership along with the service light not being reset and water in both the tail lights. I immediately go back to the dealership and express my concerns of how the vehicles they are selling as CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED cars are fraudulently advertised being that this is the second car I have had to return with issues. I demanded to be put in a third car and Gio basically told me that he can sell me a new car because I keep finding problems with the CERTIFIED cars that they inspect and sign off on! I refused a new car unless he would give me one for the price of the one I just returned and he said they could not do that. They were unwilling to work with me and get me into a third car after selling fraudulently certified used cars twice!! I asked for the CPO checklist which was not presented to me at all and It was never even signed by me to acknowledge that the vehicle was properly inspected!!! The checklist was signed by the technician and specifically said the car was not leaking oil on the checklist but it most definitely was. I will provide pictures because I documented everything. Basically all they said was that they will fix the oil leak. I send my car to service to have the oil leak fixed and the tail lights replaced. After the repairs I go to pick up my car and they fixed the oil leak coming from the oil filter housing from an incompetent tech unable to properly do a simple oil change during the CPO process. They also only replaced one tail light and it was the one that had a cracked housing and not the other light that was holding water. THIS DEALER SELLS FRAUDULENTLY CERTIFIED USED CARS. Went in for a scheduled oil change with tire rotation at 9 a.m. Advised the service clerk I was waiting for the car. Hour and a half later, car was not pulled in the bay and sat in the parking lot. When asked if the car was done, service clerk stated they were getting it in. Hour and a half later after that, car was finished. My daughter and I drove two hours to Wallace Hyundai and, surprise surprise, there was no red Hyundai Tucson on the lot. In fact, there were no Tucsons on the lot. A sales guy named Rey drove us all over this enormous property in a golf cart searching for one, to no avail. Frank had obviously lied to us. Then Rey gave us another raft load of crap by telling us a truck was making a delivery of Hyundais that afternoon with Tucsons on board. Of course he could not tell us when the truck would arrive because there was no truck scheduled to arrive that day, so we left. The next day I called Amir, the General Manager, to complain about Wallace Hyundai's service, or lack thereof, and he refused to take my call. Wallace Hyundai/Genesis service is terrible. Long waits for appt. and then car returned with the issue not being fixed. This has been chronic over the years. I literally have to go down to the dealership just to be able to speak to anyone; calls/texts go unreturned. Plus, apparently Wallace Hyundai, and I assume all the Wallace dealerships on US1 in Stuart do not report completed service to CARFAX (since there is a cost to them to be a member), so when it comes time to sell your car the buyer will not see any service completed if you had it done at Wallace. I had multiple horrific experiences with the service advisors and had to quit going there for my own sanity. I have made Napleton Hyundai in WPB my home dealership even though I live in Stuart because they actually treat people with respect. I wrote them a 5 star review. I thought maybe this was a one off since I've purchased 4 vehicles through Wallace Auto Group. Then this week I was totally disrespected by the service department at Wallace Kia while trying to get my prepaid regular maintenance on my 2023 Kia. I'm not sure what the other reviews are about but I can't believe that it's the same Hyundai dealership that these people went to!! All the sales people were friendly and efficient, but we want to give a special shout out to Francisco who made the process smooth and called me the next day to make sure everything was great. Additionally, we were about to buy a car from a different dealership when we saw that Wallace had the exact one I wanted. We called them on the phone and asked them to match the price or go lower and John (the manager) said yes... and they kept their promise! I walked out of the dealership after about 1.5 hours with the exact car I wanted for a better price!! The facility was a clean and simple trailer. Hyundai SUCKS! They tried to rip me off with 521.00 in parts and labor for a complete replacement of a part that didn't need replacement. It seems to me as if Hyundai employees have been trained to blame their dysfunction on the customer. I have had this experience with several Hyundai dealerships. I took my business to an honest repair shop in Jensen Beach. All it needed was the correct clip replaced underneath. Literally a .05 part cost and 30 seconds to pop it in. It should be mentioned the car was sold to me new with the incorrect piece to begin with. They wanted payment up front and at least a month for part to arrive. It should also be noted that even if that whole piece were to be replaced, it takes 5 minutes. they wanted to charge me for 4 hours of labor. read more

Worst ever. Seen oil all over my engine and I was told no appointments until Aug 23rd and it was fine to keep driving it being no lights were on. Called corporate and within minutes Scott Okeefe called and said to bring it in immediately which I did he said it was a blown valve cover gasket and showed me where it had blown oil all the way to the back of the car. He said he would fix it and clean the whole car. Then I get a call the next morning from Jennifer saying my car was ready to be picked up. I asked what all had been done she said a oil change and engine clean, no other repairs, I told her I would not pick up the car until I spoke with Scott Okeefe the service director. Scott called and said it was a mistake she called that they hadn't even order the parts, my question was why would they do a oil change and clean an engine before repairing it, he said they had to clean the engine before they worked on it, I guess the mechanics didn't want to get dirty. He said he would call me when it was done and he would have it fully detailed before I got it back. I picked up the car today the paperwork said valve cover gasket replaced oil changed and tire rotation and inspection of everything. Tires weren't rotated I mark my tires due to this happening before so tires didn't get rotated oil was cleaned somewhat off the engine still puddles in some areas greasy hand prints on the car oil still all on the back of the car. I recently purchased a vehicle here and it was the worst experience of my entire life. I expect my car salesmen to be shady but this place takes it to a whole other level. Rude, argumentative, unprofessional are the only three words I have to describe them. They all need customer service training immediately. The only reason I still purchased a vehicle from this sad excuse for a dealership was I liked the car, and I didn't feel like starting the process over again at a new dealership. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Wallace, and I will go out of my way to make sure everyone I know, and even people I don't, to never buy a vehicle here. read more

Worst customer service!!! if I could give a zero out of five stars, I would. I purchased a 2024 Santa Fe calligraphy model. This is the top model. Sales Guy was OK. He had to bring in someone above him when I wasn't budging don't know his title but didn't like him at all. Then the general manager came in to close a deal with me. The GM gave me a great trade value for my low mile Audi A4. I had the Santa Fe for two weeks I was in love with it but then the car breaks down on me and they had to tow it to Hyundai. It has been in their shop for over a month now, first they told me it was a sensor. They gave me five different dates of when they would have this part in. I had asked them, why is it taking so long and they said that this particular part was "backordered". Thankfully, they did give me a rental. I Spoke with a manager named John expressing my concern. he did not care what I had to say or what my concerns where. he literally brushed me off and said "I don't know what you want me to do, they are fixing your car" I had told him this is a brand new car and it should have not broken down on me which in his response was "since it has a lot of computers and it is a techie car things like this happen"!!! I've been furious with Wallace. People buy brand new cars so they don't have to worry about a car breaking down on them for a good 2 to 3 years. Anyways they get the part (sensor) after a month and they find there is a hole in the transmission!!!!! How did you guys not see this before or how did your computer not read this? I am absolutely disappointed. Dale from the service department is a liar and has horrible customer service skills, cuts you off while you're talking and doesn't explain things very well. He should be fired asap. I have now been speaking with Scott a manager there super nice guy. This whole problem has been time consuming draining and stressful. There's very few people there who care but the majority you can tell are just there for a job. Currently talking to my lawyers. I do not recommend this Hyundai in Stuart. read more
