Most car salesmen I feel like they are like sharks and very pushy so glad I didn't get that here. I left the dealership knowing what car I wanted when the time was right. Fast forward a few weeks and my car decided to stop working... now was the time for Captain Mike Mo Ashley to work his magic! We called he had 1 telluride left and that baby was mine. We went in the following day and leased it. It was a effortless process and loved getting to know Mike during this time. Very personable i highly recommend him to anyone who needs a car! September 2024- My lease was up and the decision was to turn in my car, buy my car or buy another. We went back to Captain Mo he let me test drive a few cars of my choice. We ended up buying my trusty 2022 telluride! The whole process was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I am a mom of 3 littles under 5 and my car needed to be certified but the day we bought the service department didn't have time. Captain Mo picked up my car and took it for the day while the service department did what was needed. I truly appreciated that, NO way would I have been able to sit at the dealership with all 3 kids during the certification. He then delivered it to me! Talk about FANTASTIC service. However, after this experience, I feel it's important to share what happened so others can make an informed decision. I have been a customer of this dealership for more than seven years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I initially brought my vehicle in after receiving a transmission-related error code while driving. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was told the next available appointment was about four weeks away. While that was disappointing, I understood. I was advised to leave the vehicle as an "emergency" drop-off so that if they finished other vehicles early, they could work mine into the schedule. I left my vehicle there from Thursday until Tuesday without receiving any updates. I called several times, but my service advisor never returned my calls. I eventually drove to the dealership in person, only to be told they hadn't looked at the vehicle yet. I understand that schedules change, but a simple phone call explaining there was no update would have been appreciated. A few days later, I was told they had test-driven the vehicle but could not duplicate the transmission error, so they couldn't determine the cause. I accepted that explanation and picked up my vehicle. Less than 30 miles later, the exact same transmission error appeared again. I immediately returned to the dealership and specifically asked that the vehicle be driven long enough to recreate the issue. The service manager assured me that he would personally take it on an extended test drive because he didn't want to pull a technician away from the shop for that long. He also told me my vehicle would be moved to the top of the list since this was my second visit for the same unresolved problem. After another five days with almost no communication despite my repeated calls, I finally received a call explaining that they still could not duplicate the transmission problem but had identified other repairs. After discussing those findings, I authorized approximately $2,000 in repairs. The next day I was told the vehicle was ready. Once again, I drove less than 30 miles before the exact same transmission error returned. I immediately brought the vehicle back and asked the service manager whether he had personally performed the extended test drive he had promised. His response was that he "didn't have time." At that point, he offered me a courtesy vehicle, which I appreciated. Since I had access to another vehicle for a few days, I chose not to take it because I didn't want to use dealership resources unless absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, the communication problems continued. After several more days with little to no updates, I returned to the dealership and requested my keys. Rather than working toward a solution, the interaction became confrontational and filled with excuses. In total, the dealership had my vehicle for more than three weeks. Throughout that time, communication was consistently poor, phone calls were rarely returned, promises were not kept, and the original transmission problem was never resolved. Despite spending approximately $4,000 on repairs during this process, I left with the same issue that brought me in. I recognize that intermittent problems can be difficult to diagnose, and I don't expect miracles. What I do expect is honest communication, follow-through on commitments, and respect for a customer's time. Those are the areas where this experience fell well short. After more than seven years as a loyal customer, this experience has unfortunately caused me to lose confidence in this dealership. SCAMMERS!!! We purchased a used car from Wallace Kia a few months ago and were convinced to buy the Platinum Warranty Package, which we were told would cover "anything and everything" (aside from damages we caused) with just a $50 deductible. Sounds great, right? Wrong. My son recently took his car in because a light came on his dashboard, along with a routine oil change. At first, Wallace Kia told him they "couldn't find the warranty info" and tried to charge him $208 an hour for a diagnostic. After he insisted we had the Platinum coverage, they suddenly "found it" and told him it would be covered. He signed paperwork, believing it was handled. Once the diagnostic was done, they flipped the story and said it wasn't covered, then still charged him $208 , which should have been included in the warranty. My son is only 20, not confrontational, and they clearly took advantage of him. When my husband called to complain, the excuse was that the employee "was new and lacked training." That is NOT our responsibility Wallace Kia should train their staff properly instead of punishing customers for it. To make matters worse, the manager said he'd check the repair cost but never called us back. Instead, another employee called the next day demanding $1,000 upfront to order the part. Keep in mind, this is supposedly a "factory part" that our Platinum warranty should fully cover. No visible damage exists, yet they claim a sensor is bent. It makes no sense. This dealership is dishonest, predatory, and unprofessional. They sell warranties that don't actually cover what they promise and then hit you with surprise charges. They prey on the vulnerable, young, and unsuspecting. PLEASE, avoid Wallace Kia and Wallace dealers altogether. They are scammers, liars, and thieves. The price they ended up offering was the exact sticker price plus $2000 financed for the balance of the vehicle they were trading. When I told them my nephew couldn't afford the vehicle at this time they told me we had 30 days to make a decision or they would have to run his credit again but as long as we came back in those 30 days they wouldn't have to. Side note, we went to car max instead and they gave us $1000 toward the trade in. I don't feel comfortable with this company and would never recommend this place to anyone I know, nor would I go there myself. I have purchased four vehicles from the Wallace Auto Group in the past six years. I took my 2023 Kia Sorrento in for regular maintenance this week and the service advisor Jerome was extremely rude to me and my wife and insulted us in front of other customers. He claimed that there was uneven tire wear due to an alignment issue. After further investigation with the service manager Bill, we discovered they had not rotated the tires when they were supposed to causing the front tires to have excessive wear at only 24k miles. I prepaid for the service plan on this lease to avoid having issues. The issue was caused solely from their neglect. They offered a discounted rate instead of taking care of the problem. I was told by Bill that they did not care if they lost any future business of mine. I have been completely mistreated after spending $150k with this company. Terrible business practices. read more

This dealership advertised a Kia Soul 2.0 liter engine, White, for $22,370 with a $500 customer cash discount. During the test drive I confirmed with the salesperson (Matthew) that the price of the vehicle was $22,370 and potentially less with dealer discounts such as the $500 advertised. Once back in the showroom, after the test drive, Matthew informed me that the price of the vehicle, with "market condition adjustment" was 31,730. I told him this was clearly a bait and switch tactic and is an illegal business practice. He went on to describe business conditions in which the dealership had to charge more than the sticker price and that the sticker price is just a "suggested Price" subject to change. He took some time to discuss with his manager that I was only willing to pay the posted (sticker on the car and price posted on the dealership website) and came back saying that the manager could not sell me the car for the posted price of $22,370. I told him I was not paying nearly $9,000 more than the sticker price for the car and told him I planned to report this to the Attorney General of Florida (I filed a complaint today 2/14/22 with the office of Ashley Moody - Attorney General for FL). I left the dealership when it was evident that they were not going to honor the price posted on the car. Additionally - while I was waiting for Matthew to return from his "talk" with his manager - I completed a request for a quote using the dealer website. I received a call immediately from a woman named "Summer". She aked me when I would come in to look at the car and I told her I could be there in 15 minutes. She confirmed that the price of the car was $22, 370, and that the $500 discount would bring the price of the car down to $21,870. She also mentioned that there is more "room for negotiation of the price once you are at the dealership". I hope that the Florida Attorney General takes action on this matter - but in the meantime - buyers beware. This is an illegal business practice and quite frankly it is shocking that this is taking place in 2022!! Really bummer too - because I really wanted to purchase the car. read more

On 12/6/21, my wife and I went to Wallace Kia to look at the Carnival MPV. After the salesman showed us the model we wanted, but in different colors, we decided to order one. We were given a price sheet for the one we wanted which was expected to arrive on 12/27. Other than the price sheet there was no further price discussion because the person who does trade-in evaluations wasn't available. In order to confirm the order they took my credit card info and said that they would charge $1,500 for first refusal rights to the vehicle. On 12/28 I called the salesman about the delivery and was told it would probably arrive the following week. Last night, 12/30 there was a message on the answering machine from an unintelligible name at Wallace which said the vehicle was in and to call. Last night and again this morning (12/31) I called the salesman only to get his voicemail both times. I then called the dealership and asked for Sales; the guy who answered said "our" salesman was with clients, but he set up an appointment for 5 PM today (with "our" salesman). We drove down to Wallace only to be greeted by a different salesman who asked if he could help. I told him that we had an appointment with "our" salesman to buy "our" vehicle. We were asked to wait and when he returned he said "our" salesman hadn't been in today (yet 2-1/2 hours earlier he was with clients). We were then informed that the vehicle parked outside wasn't ours because it had been sold to someone else because we didn't call right back to the message that was left. When I said that they had taken our credit card information for first refusal rights, he said that they took numerous clients' credit info on the same vehicle. We walked out with the salesman following saying something about ordering another vehicle ... fool me once, but never again, fool. We like the vehicle, but will never be visiting Wallace. I had written a review previously and took it down so my car could get service without retaliation. I dropped my car off at Wallace Kia on Father's Day weekend. My car was shimmying and shaking and going into limp mode with the engine light on. My service advisor Jake called me the next day to tell me I had some cracked spark plugs and they were going to replace all four under warranty. I don't understand how a one-year-old car can crack spark plugs. I was not given an explanation and sent on my way. My car would shake at red lights and stall inside parking lots. I took it back to Wallace Kia for them to tell me I have a serious fuel issue and that they would have to keep my car for a couple days and they supplied me with a rental car. I was called back at the end of the day to say that my car is fine and just keep driving it. You could smell gas inside the car so I stopped at my local oil change place and they told me that I had gas inside my oil do not drive it and have it towed. I had it towed back to Wallace for the third time where they again told me just drive it and the gas will burn off. I took it to another Kia dealership service center and they told me that I have clogged fuel injectors they were filled with carbon and that if Wallace would have changed them while they were doing the warranty work for the spark plugs I would not have to pay to have my fuel injectors cleaned. Which ended up costing me around $600 to have the fuel injectors cleaned and to pay for a rental car because I had to go a couple cities over to get adequate service. After having the fuel injectors cleaned and the spark plugs changed I was still having engine issues. I talked to the service manager at Wallace Kia and he informed me that the mechanic that worked on my card did not feel like working there at all so my car was definitely overlooked and my service advisor had already given his notice to go somewhere else so I definitely was not a top priority. I had enough of living and Kia service centers that I finally just traded my Kia in for a Toyota. I would never buy another Kia product again they have so many engine recalls and I feel that the dealers just don't want to invest time and energy in fighting to have a customer's engine replaced. Anyone interested in buying a Kia product needs to research Kia engine fires or in my case Kia Soul engine fires. I don't know how Kia can keep making vehicles and even the 2023s are recalled and they are telling customers to park outside. read more

I have always received routine maintenance during these visits, and Scott has been my go-to person each time. During my most recent visit, I was promptly greeted, readily remembered, and efficiently assisted throughout the duration of my car's maintenance process. I was even provided with a phone call when my car was ready in a remarkable three hours despite having multiple items to fix such as a mysterious sound, oil change, tire maintenance, minor safety recall, and car wash. As I arrived, I was greeted by Scott who was walking towards the back. Upon seeing me, he immediately altered his path to personally hand me my keys and sign in my paperwork. I purchased a Kia Forte on the 31st of May . The salesman said they had 10 more cars to reach their quota for the month . We proceeded to make a deal after 4 hours at the dealership . Ended up having two more deals to be made for their quota . The sales manager was going to put new tires and have a few minor dents and scratches repaired for us . When they reached their quota we were the 11th so he came back and said we cannot repair the dents and scratches on the vehicle. The salesman told us that he would get in trouble if he kept pushing the issue . I think it's very unfair what the sales manager did and did not even come and speak with us personally . They ended up putting a different tire on the vehicle which was the cheapest Tire they sell . We've bought two other vehicles from Wallace and we're very happy with the exception of this one. I was completely sandbagged by the finance manager when signing the finance paperwork, which is partly my fault for trusting him. He kept pushing papers for me to sign, and when I questioned him about why I needed an extended warranty and maintenance contract, I was told that the credit union required it to finance the vehicle. I should have backed out of the deal right the since I had an 806 FICO score, but, I didn't. I cancelled both contracts days later when I found out that the finance guy totally BS'd me, but, I haven' t received a refund yet, and no explanation why it is taking so long. If this is an example of their sales practices, I believe they are more interested in sales and commissions than customer satiafaction. read more

We purchased a new 2022 Kia Telluride from this dealership. We recently had it back for service due to a faulty rear sensor. Mike Ceccanti , the service technician told us it was not covered under warranty. He estimated a cost of over $1000 for new parts. My husband expressed his displeasure very strongly. Mike came back a few minutes later & said that he could replace it with a repair kit for $450. My husband approved & the part was installed & the problem was resolved. One week later, my husband called another Kia dealership. He explained the situation to the parts manager. The manager said that there is NO such repair kit available for the part that supposedly was damaged. He eluded that we were taken advantage of by Wallace KIA. My husband returned to Wallace and spoke with a young Service Manager by the name of Bill Gent. My husband explained what he had learned from the other dealership. Mr. Gent was cocky, defensive, and very unwilling to listen or attempt to resolve my issue. I was billed for 3 hours of labor & I wasn't even there 3 HOURS. Mr. Gent' s response when I told him that he lost another customer...."Oh well".......I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DEALERSHIP !! There was ZERO customer service or empathy from this person !! Offer you free oil changes ( that are already included in all purchases ) they make it sound like it's an "extra perk" and told me that my car would be cleaned and "DETAILED" when I picked it up . Yes, I purchased a used 2017 Kia Soul w 19k miles on it . When I picked it up it was dirty . There were coffee stains inside - seats were filthy and outside was dirty . They didn't even wash it !!! :( when I asked the salesmen's why it was so dirty and he promised to detail it - he gaslighted me and acted like I was crazy for wanting a DETAIL job on a used car ??? Then don't offer it ! Then ..... as I was driving home enjoying my new car , the gas light went on !! Really !???? They sent me home with no gas ??? I only live 18 miles from dealership and had to stop for gas . All I can say is THEY STINK ! They need nicer sales people who can even pretend to care !! If I worked there I would make sure my customer had not only a clean car , but a full tank of gas - maybe a nice BOW / CANDY - and a THANK YOU CARD inside.
