TOP SHELF CUSTOMER SERVICE & GREAT DEALS Serko is the most genuinely caring pharmacist I have ever encountered. I was unable to find the version of the medication I needed (the one my insurance still covered, that didn't make me sick to my stomach and that actually worked). I was calling everywhere for hours on end and was getting the same response, "We don't carry that and we don't know where else you should look."' When Serko's assistant heard my plight, she was very polite but said that their pharmacy didn't have the medication, either. To my surprise, I received a call back about an hour later from Serko saying he knew why I couldn't find what I was looking for and that he had ordered the generic that was covered by my insurance and that worked (!):; further that he'd go ahead and offer it to me near to his cost. He explained that he had gone ahead with the order on his end because he had found two months worth of what I was looking for and that he had found that it was sold out or on back-order everywhere else. I was shocked! He and his team had gone out of their way to search for my medication because they knew no pharmacy was going to be able to discuss availability with me. Talk about customer service! When I went in to pick up my prescription there was great music playing and the atmosphere was totally chill. The space also felt and still feels well-ventilated and very clean. I couldn't believe that people had gone so far out of their way to help me even when there was barely any profit involved. Sadly, when I recently called in for my refill, Serko let me know that once again my insurance had changed and that I would have to pay 4-5 times the copay at his pharmacy than what I'd have to pay at the chain that was affiliated with my insurance. He said that he was sorry to see me go but that paying $10 vs $40-$50 was just a no-brainer. I'm hoping that when you read this you'll choose to make this pharmacy your own so he can continue to offer excellent customer service and great deals to the community. We need more people in this world like Serko. read more

Always has my prescriptions ready within minutes! Doesn't matter if I call it in or just walk in. Service is always friendly and better than any CVS, Rite aid or Walgreens. If you want the fastest service where you feel like family come here! They do have a free spot in the parking garage if you can't find street parking. read more

After I left the pharmacy yesterday I thought - I should write a review. These have been the best experiences I have ever had with a pharmacy or pharmacist. So kind! So quick! And the music is great. Even a call to let me know my mediation is ready . What?! So, I say - self- go and write a review so people know! Of course I find a slew of fantastic reviews . This pharmacy really is this good and the pharmacist really is that kind-knowledgeable- and - I'm gonna say it - he's cool ! ( and he has gone out of his way to include my 11 year old in our dealings. My son said - "Mom, that's a good guy " when we got in the car. That's more then he said all the way there. What a fantastic experience! There were 3 people ahead of me, and I was STILL in and out within minutes (when was the last time that happened at a pharmacy?) Dr. Soultanian is super personable and caring, you can tell he loves his profession, and he's awesome at it! He asked me a few questions, called my doctor to suggest a change in medication, and I ended up paying way less than I would have originally! whaaaaa?? That's neverrrr happened at any of the big chains! I was so impressed that I asked if I could take a picture to post a Yelp review- Dr. Ike's has me as a costumer for life! Just happened to stumble across this pharmacy when we were at the building getting xrays done. It is super small and has a old-school pharmacy feel to it. I don't mean that in a way that suggests the decor is old-school, but rather the type of service you receive. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and quick to fill my husband's prescription. He explained how best to take the meds and gave a rundown of possible side-effects. We were in and out of there in 10 minutes, which is nice considering I usually have to wait several hours for CVS or Rite-Aid to fill prescriptions. Wish Dr. Ike's was closer to our home so we could make this our regular pharmacy. Note: there is covered parking in the building, but it is not validated. Be sure to park on the street and save yourself a couple bucks. read more

I was actually experiencing a difficult time finding a medication they had on stock, but Serko took initiative quickly and efficiently. These guys are the BEST!! Always super friendly and SOOOOO helpful. I had a terrible allergic reaction to some pills I bought at Rite Aid, my tongue swell up and my throat closed up. I tried for weeks to get info on what ingredients were in those pills and Rite Aid had no answers for me. So frustrating to be so allergic and not know to what ingredients. I went to Ike's to buy a bunch of allergic reaction medicine and Serko (not sure I spelled it right) spent a TON of time trying to help me figure out what I'm allergic to. He called people, he searched websites and was so helpful I really appreciated it. Ike's isn't close to my house but from now on I will only go to them because they give a (blank)! Fast and knowledgeable staff. If your rx is not in stock they can order it for the following day. I drive far from home to specifically go to this pharmacy because of the great service. I also like to use small family ran businesses to help the community not big corporations At Ike's you're treated with respect unlike CVS where you're just another number. Serko (owner) explains very complicated pharmacology in a very easy to understand way. (I always leave with more knowledge than when I came in.) Dr Ike's is by far the best pharmacy in the entire Los Angeles region. Serko is an exceptional pharmacist who genuinely cares about every single one of his customers. With most pharmacies being large chain retailers that see hundreds of different faces every single day, it is unbelievably refreshing to walk in to this pharmacy and have Serko remember you and greet you by name. He has always gone above and beyond to help me with whatever I needed while being quick and efficient in doing so. I have never had to wait more than ten minutes for my prescription to be filled unless it was not in stock, which in that case would be ordered for the following day.
