When he heard what happened, he informed me that he would do his best to get back to me within 40 minutes. Shortly after, he called back to let us know they were able to squeeze us in for an appointment (which we are grateful for!) Alex was so kind and patient with my 5 year old. Throughout the process, she took her time and gave him tiny breaks when needed while also making sure I liked how it was turning out. She was able to keep the hair that he had left, so he's not bald. The end result exceeded my expectations & my son is happy with his new haircut. We have a barber that we usually go to but would definitely come back in the future due to the friendly, efficient staff. Thank you all!

Jacob is an absolute professional and a master of his craft. He takes the time to listen, asks thoughtful questions to ensure clients get exactly what they want, and approaches every cut with incredible attention to detail. The fade was flawless, and he even took the extra step of trimming the eyebrows and cleaning up facial hair. His precision, skill, and dedication to quality are evident in every aspect of his work. What truly sets Jacob apart, however, is his character. After we called multiple places looking for someone willing to make an emergency last-minute house call for a grieving family before a funeral the next day, Jacob stepped up without hesitation. Despite having already worked a full day, he came out after closing hours to help this family during a difficult time. His kindness, compassion, respect, and willingness to go above and beyond made a world of difference when it was needed most. We are incredibly grateful for Jacob and cannot recommend Goodfellas Barbershop highly enough. Exceptional service, exceptional talent, and an even more exceptional human being. Thank you, Jacob! I've gone to several barbers in the past 10 years and all have disappointed me. I always had to fix my hair after each cut and haircuts aren't cheap these days. Finally got Oscar a year ago and he's been cutting my hair since. I've never had to fix my hair and I walk out of the shop more confident each time. Although I live in Burlingame, I make the drive to Martinez to get cut by Oscar. It's that worth it, at least in my opinion. You get good vibes, great conversations, and they have complimentary beverages while you wait. Prices are good, parking is plenty, and the location is easy to get to. You're basically in and out if you make an appointment so make sure you call ahead or book online.
