Patrick was super responsive, installed my water heater perfectly, courteously, and for a good price. Highly recommend! I found Decker Water Heater repair when I was searching for a plumber for a pretty urgent issue. The water heater broke while we had family over, it was a nightmare! There was no hot water running to any of the sinks or showers until it was repaired. I called Decker's and spoke with Patrick, who immediately answered and offered to come check out the problem. He came exactly when he said he was, gave us a price that was extremely fair, completed the work very quickly and was in communication with me throughout the day while I was at work, even providing pictures of what needed to be done and giving me different options to help keep costs under control, which is always awesome! On top of the quick and amazing work that he did, It is easy to tell that Patrick is just a really good person who is super friendly and all about ensuring that his customers are taken care of. As a small business owner myself, I really appreciated how honest and straightforward he was from the start.

Regardless of the tight space, it only took them a few hours to get the job done. They worked hard and never took a break in getting the water heater in as fast as possible. I genuinely appreciate their hard work and diligence.  In addition to the great skill they displayed in securing a regular sized water heater in an irregular spot, they also gave me a really fair price. Some other people were trying to charge me way more and some had even quoted double the rate of what Ken and Bobby charged.  Thanks and gratitude to Ken and Bobby for doing such a great job! I wouldn't recommend these guys unless I truly felt they could handle any situation and they can certainly handle your water heater job no matter the difficulty. You will get the highest quality of work and a great rate. Truly, unbeatable. You guys rock!

We had a good guy back in the day who was an artist and a character, but somehow I didn't get warm fuzzies about his plumbing skills. Anyway, Tom Friel is my new plumbing go-to guy. He was prompt in returning my call, came out in the morning on New Year's Eve and had a guy at our house by 11 AM doing our odds-and-ends jobs. With all of that he added extra unanticipated value. To wit: 1. We needed to move the pipe for our stove so that we could push it all the way back (long story). He knew since we'd remodeled only a few years ago with permits, that we must have a gas shutoff for our range. I had no idea where. He found it behind a drawer and recommended that we label it. Great idea! 2. We asked him to replace our water filter dispenser on our sink. He poked around for a bit and recommended an upgrade to the tubing as well. Now we get filtered water coming out in a freaking jet - it's awesome, and fills a pitcher in a minute flat. We also asked him to replace a toilet. Nothing much to say here, it was straightforward. His rate is $85/hr, and his quote was very accurate. The guy he sent out (can't remember his name) was pleasant and efficient. One other thing -- he called me about 30 minutes after he left our house from doing the initial quote and told me that he'd forgotten to turn the water back on. I like that he had that sense of courtesy to call and let me know, rather than waiting for me to call him and ask what was going on. 4 Stars because I've only used him once...

We have had very good success using this guide especially in SF where our rental is and in Marin where we live. Victor and Son were terrific. From the first appointment, timely estimate, progress work consistent with schedule to final city inspection. Everything was done in quality manner. Our SF house is 80+ years old. We decided to upgrade to 220v and add additional circuits to accommodate all of today's electrical devices(computers, TV, Blue/Ray, expresso machine etc). You get the picture. The existing wiring was shot so all new wire had to be pulled throughout this 2 story home. We were out of the area for one month and Victor kept us posted regarding PG&E coming out for final connect from the pole and the City for final inspection. No issues from either on the entire job. The price was in line with another estimate we had. I would heartily recommend Victor and VP whatever your electrical needs in SF.
