Went here on a whim one Saturday afternoon with husband and daughter. Everyone LOVED it. We were very surprised that we could get such great food at a great price. It was comparable to going to McDonalds or Burger King as far as price goes. I mean just about every combo at one of those places is at least $6.00. We loved it so much that on Sunday our daughter got up and said that the one thing she wanted to do was get lunch at Mutts. Sad thing is that they are closed on Sunday so we will just have to wait. read more

We recently visited this establishment after visiting the little thrifts and boutique on Pennsylvania Ave and I have to say our experience was delicious HaHA truly . We are regulars here and from the staff to the food- it is all THE BEST. High quality food, cooked to order, (so yes, u might wait a few minutes). Great ice cream for dessert and awesome root beer or orange cream floats. The hot dogs are my toddlers favorite. I love the burgers with deep fried jalapeños!!!! After driving by it about a million times we finally realized it was a legit local burger stand. Kind of a strange old gas station look to it but it fits with the small town charm. I was super excited to try it and am happy to say I was not disappointed. The burgers are homemade pattys. Delicious!! They serve them on soft kaiser rolls which totally works. I had the onion rings which were hand battered, they were decent. Next time I'll be trying the sweet potato fries. Husband had the tots and you cant go wrong with those. We were wayyyyy too full for dessert but will definitely be back for the shakes people rave about. Everyone was super friendly and with everything made to order the wait wasn't that bad. God-tier food. You name me a single burger place in Saint Cloud that beats this one. Something's going on with this one, too. They don't just make that burger for you all simple well-done; no, no. You're gonna be waiting a fat 30 minutes for that 10/10 burger, yessirree you are. Also, the hotdogs are mega solid, super 9/10. The only underwhelming item on the menu I've ever gotten were those chicken tenders. Very 4/10, they were very small tenders for far more than the price. Good grief. I've eaten a lot of burgers. Big. Small. Fat. Flat. Greasy. Dry. But nothing compared remotely to the mushroom Swiss burger I scoffed at Mutts. Coupled with the fried pickle chips I could literally feel my arteries hardening, but it was worth it. Amazing food and fab location. Perfect service. I think I'm in love. My only regret is that I couldn't squeeze in a black cherry floater. Next time I'll be sure to wear an outfit with an elasticated waistband. read more

I have lived in the Orlando, Kissimmee, Saint Cloud, Haines City area since 2001 but haven't had food this good anywhere. It proves that you don't have to be expensive to be great. I really don't know why the reviews are so high for this place. I'm not a hard person to please, and I love to support small business. But this place needs to step up their game big time. I was not impressed with this place AT ALL. All I can come up with is that these rave reviews must be friends, family, or fake profiles writing fake reviews of this place. Mutt's is an "average@best" burger joint that charges way too much for their food. Service wasn't good either. I got the impression that I was inconveniencing the lady taking my order too... I mean, I did "pay" for my food. But I guess they're doing so well, they don't care for my repeat business. Anyway, after waiting 20+ minutes for my food, the burgers turned out to be "okay" (nothing to rave about), but the fries were a real disappointment. They were limp... or soggy... or both, I couldn't really put my finger on exactly what was going on with them. They charge $3 for a fountain drink! A "fountain drink"! How do you sleep at night people?!?! Five Guys is WAY better and cheaper if you can believe that. Note to Mutt's ownership: you're not entitled to local business. Earn it! Finally stopped in to Mutt's on 13th Street and very happy I did! Love the simple, old fashioned appeal and delicious food. Had the Bacon Cheddar Burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh, hot and expertly cooked. My friend had a hot dog topped slaw and had a side of Cajun fries. It was awesome. Finished off with a chocolate milk shake which added to the retro feel of the meal, and it was smooth and delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back! read more

Read all the reviews and decided tonight would be the night to try it for myself. First let me say I love the retro look inside and the staff was super nice and helpful. Since this was my first time the cashier made lots of suggestions and I enjoyed it all. I almost ordered too much because i was hungry not realizing how big certain items would be. So I had a hot dog split on the grill amaze-balls. I also ordered the bacon-double cheeseburger (note to self only get single next time or only order the double) the patties where big and well seasoned and cooked to my liking medium well. I also had the beer battered onion rings and OMG I'm in love. And to wash it all down I had a thick vanilla milkshake. The entire meal cost me $22 and it was well worth the cost. My only issue is everything is a la carte. They should think of making some combo burger/hotdog meals. Other than that I loved it all and will go again. read more

ok we went over this on how to rate. A family of 4 cost $45.00 so they lost a star the prices are way too hight for this place the milk shake was $6.00 and it was in a small to med. cup. Was it good yes but would not order again because of the price. We ordered one chili dog my son like it to me it really didn't look good. My other child order a hand dipped corn dog that fell apart on the first bite part of it was black where it was cooked why too long. I ordered a patty melt I was told it was really really good it was ok and I would not order it again. My husband ordered a hamburger and said it was very good and we all agreed the chili cheese fryes were the best thing there but cost $6.65 for them again way too pricey for a whole in the wall greasy spoon. People were nice it took about 20 min. to get our food we were the only one with an order at the time then had to wait again for a order of fries. First time at Mutts. Kept reading great revues, so my nephew & I went out to dinner I stopped at Mutts. We waited quite awhile for our food. Very Disappointed in the fries. Crunchy & very small pieces, like the bottom of the bag! Burgers were very hot & good, BUT, as I started eating the 2nd half of my burger I noticed mold on the bottom of the bun! I got the attention of a server & showed her. She told me it happened to someone else too but we were told it was the seasoning! Excuse me? I know the difference between a moldy bun & spices!! Needless to say I lost my appetite. After picking at the burger I noticed the bacon was funny looking. She said she would send someone over. No one came. Last time for Mutts!! EWWW! read more

Mutt's is highly overrated. It's over priced, first of all, and second of all, you'd better set aside 20-30 minutes for your order to be ready. They weren't even busy, and it took a very long time. Then, when it was finally ready, they forgot to give me my milkshake, and since there's no drive-thru, I decided not to go back for it.
