I would strongly recommend against this company and location, unfortunately…read more I attended multiple sessions with my dog last Fall on a routine weekly basis, including Obedience and then several Agility courses once he had graduated to that level. The instructors were all helpful and I loved seeing my dog's progress. We were diligent about attending and practicing. When both my grandfather and mother fell ill and died within 3 months of each other during the holiday season of 2024, I could no longer make the sessions with my dog. Truly they were forgotten during this time of extreme hardship. A couple months later when I could breathe again, I remembered our sessions and went to reserve a class but couldn't because my package had expired. I called and was told that nothing could be done, as this was the policy. These are privately-owned franchise locations, and the owners have the ability to create and revise policies to help their customers - it is their choice to take a customer's money in upfront packages and then refuse to extend any goodwill or flexibility. The classes I attended were rarely full. It would not have hurt their business in any way to allow me to utilize the classes I had already purchased. Looking at other reviews, they have a pattern of treating customers this way. If they had let me use the classes that I bought, I surely would've kept coming and even bought more sessions. But it's not worth it to me to support a business that treats its customers like this.

We have been going to classes since she was just over 6th months old, we were biweekly/weekly for the first year and a half and now we pop in every few months for practice. We did a few private classes to troubleshoot issues and those were very productive and I felt the staff went above and beyond helping my dog overcome her fear of the teeter. The staff is incredible, they are all welcoming, kind and so knowledgeable. They have great suggestions in fixing behaviors and ate always willing to help with different training techniques. I would still go weekly if I could, and I fully plan to take all of my future puppies/dogs here for training and socializing.

Gary has expanded the agility course, I've posted a few pictures of the new course- it's HUGE. I'm always surprise to see my pup spring over some of those high triple jumps! Whether you are in a regular group class, training or private class, I could not say enough good things about our continued experiences here.

That's when I found Natural Instincts on a Google search and decided to give it a shot. I signed up for the agility classes. For 99$ you can attend agility class either Saturday or Sunday morning for 6 sessions. The sessions expire within 12 weeks so when Pepper had to take a break because she got spayed, it was absolutely no issue. The majority of the class is focused on doing the agility course, but they also practice other things such as proper leash walking. The owner runs the class but there are always atleast 2-3 other trainers around to help. Pepper loves agility! She is a couch potato at heart but when she's at agility class she is always having a blast running and just being around dogs. A lot of obedience classes and dog day cares unfortunately discriminate against pitbulls but at Natural Instincts they are extremely bully friendly. Oh and they always have someone with a professional camera taking amazing pics of you & your dog. It's definitely nice having all these wonderful pictures of my dog (it's not like my camera isn't already full of pics of her). I have one week left from this 6 week package but I'll definitely purchase a new 6 week pass next class.

Ok, so here's the dealio on this business…read more.... It's known as PAC Dog Training. Ashley, is the owner and trainer. She lives near Mount Dora. BUT, she travels to you! Let me say that again, she travels to you. She can come to your home, meet you at a dog park, or anywhere your dog is having issues. She is the best! Not only does she travel to you, she brings her own treats for your babies and her price is so reasonable!!! She charges you by the hour but she isn't crazy expensive. I also like the fact that I wanted her to come a few times a week and she actually told me that my dogs didn't need that much training and that once a week or every other week would be fine for them. WOW! I found her on Thumbtack....It's a consumer service for finding and hiring local professionals. Thumbtack allows service providers and consumers to find each other and negotiate jobs online. I was looking for a dog trainer to come to my house. I received 4 offers. I was able to check out her page...see what she was about and read some reviews from her customers. I always use Yelp first but I didn't see many businesses and pricing was never discussed, which was a concern for me. So Ashley had been coming to my house probably 6-8 times since last year. My babies love her. She is calm and so sweet to them. They love her so much! I am sure they love her treats too! My Frenchies (2 & 3 yrs old) can now sit, stay, wait (this is when we hold a treat right in front of their face and they don't try to snatch it) and lay down. She has also helped with some potty issues that our youngest had. She helps us understand why our dogs are doing certain things and their motives. We rescued our doggies & they are Frenchies so they are stubborn to boot. So she helps us understand certain behaviors and how to correct them. One of the qualities I like most about Ashley is that she is very professional but very sweet. She always confirms your appointment via text the day before and if she can come a little earlier she'll ask and if she is running a little behind she'll let you know a few hours in advance. I also like that I can ask here questions or concerns I am having with my guys through texts or a phone call. I don't have to wait until our appointment. Which is a big help when something happens and I want to know why as soon as possible. I have only used her for behavior training but I know that she can do much more as well. So if you are looking for someone to help you with you dog(s), Ashley at PAC dog training is for you!

Her training program is fun, informative, and effective. I first came to Susan after a recommendation from a close friend. My dog Chloe needed some help learning her proper manners. After the very first class I knew we were in good hands. Susan's training is based on positive reinforcement. Chloe passed through the first and second courses with flying colors. She is now in her third course and is on track to graduate with the Canine Good Citizen certification. We recently adopted another dog that needs training and I knew exactly where to go! Ruby has learned so much after only two classes! If you have a puppy or a dog that needs training I highly recommend Wagging Willow. You will have fun with your pupper, learn a lot, and form a deeper bond with your furry family member.

We want to give an extra special shoutout to Susan for the constant tips and advice about food, potty training, and literally anything else we need. She puts in so much extra time and effort. She has truly gone above and beyond our expectations for a dog trainer. I can't imagine a better experience than we've had with Susan. If you have a dog, you need training with Wagging Willow. My Cody had been on previous classes with a different trainer but there were lots of basics that were not mastered at all. The dog would barely listen which is the most important and most basic skill you'd need. She took him in and patiently but determinedly worked on him from the basics all the way to an obedient dog. Our dog had excessive car anxiety and over-reactiveness towards other dogs and she managed to work extensively on these issues in addition to all the basic and advanced obedience commands that a dog should possess. She even developed a plan to get him to a service dog level and the outcome has been amazing. Her approach of taking the dog in, training the dog herself for a period of time, then delivering the dog and continuing on an ongoing basis with the dog's owner is brilliant as the dog needs to not only learn all she teaches but also learn to follow the same discipline from the dog's owner. That's precisely the reason for transferring over the dog back to it's owner at a certain point. Once the dog is transferred over back to its owner, she continues to deliver lessons on a recurring basis both with and without the dog's owner and she very thoughtfully accommodates to the owner's schedule and specific needs/concerns. If you are looking for a trainer that actually puts this much thought, effort, and passion, then Dawn Hoppe is definitely you one and only person to go to. If you want a dog trainer that knows what she's doing, a trainer that customizes her training plan to your specific needs/concerns, then Dawn Hoppe is the one and only trainer to go to. While other trainers will not guarantee any results, she will work with you and will not stop until the owner's needs/concerns are fully and completely addressed! Thank you Dawn for all you've done and everything you continue to do for us!
