We started off at a different training facility with our GSP puppy before we knew anything about Central FL K9. Training was done at their facility, and taking longer to transfer in our home. I was a little hesitant with the idea of board-and-train at Central FL K9 initially (not offered at the initial place we went for training)- just because I felt guilty for what felt like "leaving" our puppy that our family was so attached to... but it turned out to be the best thing we could have done for our family and our puppy. Our puppy's good behavior has come as such a surprise to people who have an opinion on the breed- and it's all thanks to Addie. Her passion for training dogs shows through the love she gives them and is nothing short of amazing. We will use Addie for training with any and all of our dogs the future brings. Besides the training- the boarding facility is the best around. It is extremely clean, smells fresh, and everyone makes it feel more comfortable when leaving your dog for boarding. The add-ons help them feel more at home, and the staff are great at sending updates. I recommend Central FL K9 to anyone who loves their dogs as a family member - because that's how they're treated there! read more

Meeting Christine for the first time was terrific and she was able to give us an exciting introduction to swimming and dock diving. Not only was she patient with me (my toss), but she was encouraging and gave many resources to help before I return back to the pool. Taking a tour afterwards with the owner was outstanding as well. The facility has so many things to offer and the right staff to do it. I left with a feeling that it is all about what is best for the dogs (and rats). You can feel the passion the minute you drive onto the property. read more

Beautiful place. Knowledgeable staff. They really have it together here. Top Notch. I will return.

This is such a great facility! Caring people, clean, organized. I am taking training sessions with a GREAT trainer, Joylene. She really understands your dog AND the owner so that she can train both to be a team and communicate!! I have also boarded there with my rescue who spent 8 months in a shelter prior to my adopting him. He has great anxiety about kennels and he did wonderfully there. You won't go wrong with Joylene if you need help with your dog. read more

We boarded our pit Bull mix for 14 days while we were out of the country. We have never left our dog for that long and were so nervous about it. Bella had the time of her life!!! Christine and Angela sent us updates, photos and videos EVERY DAY! We looked forward to the daily texts. They made sure she had outdoor time, multiple long walks daily and lots of human interaction ( her favorite thing). They even did some therapy on her hips to help with her hip issues. My only regret is that we didn't find this place earlier!!! BEST BOARDING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! read more

Run your dog... not your mouth..... and run we did. This amazing K9 training facility has added another great event to their outstanding line up. This past weekend they added Fast Cat / Lure Coursing to their BarKour, Barnhunt, Protection, Obedience, Protection, Puppy training, Group Classes, Individual Classes and so very much more. The staff there is amazing and really is a well oiled team with great leadership. I personally have 4 dogs and am cycling though every event to see what each dog prefers or has a natural desire to be part of. I have 1 with a prey drive {great at Barnhunt and did well with Fast Cat, 1 that took to Fast Cat with speed and ease and another that ran it just to please me} This weeks add was the Fast Cat. 100 yard lure course. Couple of my dogs seemed to understand it immediately and some needed a second run to find their groove. That being said I have to say the team running the class was helpful, understanding, positive and most of all amazingly well versed in the rules of this sport and how to run it safely and efficiently. EVERYTHING these folks do it done with the safety and health of the dogs first. It took longer for the owners to get to the catch basin end of the course {especially us older folks} than it did for the dogs to run it. The staff was patient and there was always the next dog ready to go so downtime was minimal. If you have a dog, I highly recommend visiting these folks. The time you spend with them will return many-fold in a happier, healthier more bonded dog. Central Florida K9's tag line is "A leader in Canine Education" and it should be "THE leader in Canine Education". They have the resources to handle every aspect of canine training from day 1 puppy to adult dog behavior. They are honest and have the training and experience to back up what they tell you. Every dog is evaluated by an experienced trainer before you agree to a training plan so you are not lead into false expectations. These are well educated people, not just people with a liking for dogs. This place keeps adding cool stuff and I've heard dock diving is coming soon. Come on out and get some training!! Run your dog, not your mouth!! read more

I am beyond happy with the results that both Rina and Jolyne delivered. I brought in my two pit bulls, who had already been to a previous dog training facility. While they did get some basic obedience, they still were lacking in many areas. Kilo is a 5-year-old rescue pit bull who lacks confidence and has little to no socialization. Charlie is a 1-year-old rescue pit bull with bad puppy mannerisms such as mouthing and jumping and no impulse control. We brought Charlie and Kilo to see if we could get this situated. Rina and Joylne assured me they would work on these issues using various techniques to help the dogs mentally and physically. Fast Foward to almost 40+ days, and WOW, I couldn't believe the results. Kilo is so much more confident and enjoys going on his walks. I am no longer having to drag or force him on the walks. Charlie is way more obedient, calm and no longer mouths our arms or jumps. Rina and Joylene did such an excellent job with our dogs. At the end of the training, they taught my family and me the techniques applied to our dogs. Central Florida K9 has made my life much easier, and I can finally say that I have a balanced pack. I also want to point out the fantastic staff at Central Florida K9; every person I met at the facility was so kind and attentive. Knowing my dogs would be around loving and caring people assured me that the dogs were in a safe place. I genuinely appreciate what Central Florida K9 has done for my dogs and me. read more

Knowing our Cane Corso would need training, we took our puppy here. The staff are very attentive and the facility is top notch. Kristen did amazing with our puppy. She kept us updated throughout the process with pictures, videos, and texts. She was patient with us while we learned how to continue training. We're so happy our Brooklyn is on track to bring the best dog ever! She has little slip ups here and there, but hey, she's still learning and we are too. The best dog training facility!! My dog had some behavioral issues and after speaking to RIna, she was able to draft a training program for my 2 years old dog. The training was 21 days long and during that time Rina and her team kept sending me several updates daily (videos and pictures). Today my dog follows all my commands (obedient) and our walks are much more pleasant than before the training. Highly recommend this place and specially Rina for any dog behavioral training. read more

I'm currently an owner of a two year old yellow lab named Matsi. He has been going to Central Florida k9 training/ boarding and daycare since he was six months old. Tracy, Rock and their entire staff have been absolutely wonderful with Matsi. He is a high energy lab that requires lots of structured training. And with their help Matsi and I have come along way with their training advice. When I board Matsi, Tracy and Rock will do one on one training with Matsi to work on his energy level, tracking and agility skills. I will continue the training for Matsi with Central Florida K-9. I would definitely recommend CFK-9 to any dog owner who needs training for a high energy and an extremely active puppy. read more

Highly recommend! Excellent, caring, compassionate trainers (Tulene and Melissa) and staff who treat your dog as their own. A little worried when we dropped off our 1 year old black lab for their in residence basic obedience training; similar feeling to dropping child off at camp, but this quickly disappeared as we received daily updates that not only included photos, but also videos demonstrating our pup's progress. Upon picking up our pup from her residency, we were greeted with a very professionally done presentation. Added bonus! The trainers, knowing my husband was hearing impaired, ensured the presentation included closed captioning to involve my husband in our training education/debriefing. After the presentation, we were then instructed and given the opportunity to utilize the same techniques the trainers used for our dog's training by practicing on a "carpet dog" before using the techniques on our beloved pet. Once we were reunited with our pup, we were then able to practice under the trainers' guidance to help us gain confidence in the training techniques. The adage, "you get what you pay for'" definitely applies when it comes to the services we have received so far as the residency provides for 2 follow up training sessions to help maximize the education to both the pup and owners. read more

I have been having issues with my Miniature Australian Shepherd, Sassie, displaying aggressive behavior toward people or dogs that approach us when we are out in public. I want to be able to take her on walks or go to pet-friendly businesses. I am also interested in agility work with Sassie. I decided to have her evaluated by a behavioral trainer at Central Florida K9 after seeing a successful transformation in training a dog that belongs to a friend. Rina evaluated Sassie and recommended the Board and Train program at CFK9. Sassie and Rina worked well together, and Sassie excelled during her training. Rina improved Sassie's confidence and reinforced her basic obedience during training. Sassie was ready to come home early from the scheduled training. Sassie is much more confident and well-mannered when out on walks. I am even able to take her into pet-friendly businesses. I could not do either of these without her barking and lunging on her leash before training with Rina. Currently I am working with Rina to learn more about what I should be doing while handling Sassie so she maintains her confidence in her situations or environments that could be stressful to her. Central Florida K9 has a reliable, professional and dedicated trainer in Rina. She is the type of trainer who only uses positive reinforcement to modify a dog's behavior Sassie is much happier and relaxed, and I am learning how to be more aware of how to interact with her thanks to Central Florida K9. read more

This is a long review, but it is important to know the back story behind my dog Hans and how much Central Florida K-9 truly was able to help. May of 2018 I adopted a German Shepherd named Hans from a shelter in St. Augustine, Florida. Hans was one year old at the time. Over the remaining months he began showing signs of fear and aggression. When on walks, Hans would routinely bark/scream at people passing by. Even if people were far away, Hans would begin barking and pulling on his leash. In the car, Hans would scream at people passing by. A construction worker on the side of the road, someone mowing a yard, a walking dog. It did not matter. Hans would listen inside the home when given commands, but would not respond outside the home. I knew something had to be done. I began doing research about training a Shepherd and found tons of information online. I first decided to enroll in a small training class offered at our vet clinic. It was a six week class on Saturday mornings and didn't cost very much. Hans was fine in the class and did not show any signs of aggression towards other dogs. However, people in the class were a different story. If someone tried to pet Hans, he would begin to scream and act fearful. Tail would go under him and his ears would go back. The trainer recommended I take him to day care to socialize him a bit more. I tried doggy day care for four months. Same results. Day car staff said he was fine with dogs but would act fearful around the staff. I finally decided to do some more in depth research and came across Central Florida K-9. Upon visiting their website, I felt like this could be the training program both Hans and I were seeking. I contacted Central Florida K-9 in June of 2019 and spoke with Rina, the training manager. We spoke for 15 minutes on the phone about Hans and the behavioral problems we were having. She invited me to come in for an evaluation of Hans and to discuss potential solutions for his fear and aggression. I visited Central Florida K-9 on May 27, 2019, with Hans. Rina did our evaluation. She asked many questions about his behavior and documented everything. Upon conclusion of the evaluation, Rina determined that Hans had fear, anxiety and people aggression. She recommended that I enroll Hans in the board and train rehabilitation program. She also gave me a full tour of their facility and grounds. I noticed that their kennels were extremely clean and maintained. The grass and play areas were clean and well maintained as well. The facility seemed to be in great shape. Hans started his rehabilitation program on June 24, 2019. That day was absolutely the hardest for both Hans and I. As I was leaving him with the training staff, Hans was pretty much crying, if that's possible. I knew I would be back for him and that he truly needed professional help for his aggression. This is where Central Florida K-9 absolutely rose to the occasion. During his stay, he received training daily from the staff. Rina took the time to update me pretty much daily on his progress. The updates came in the form of text, pictures and videos. In total, through out his 40 day rehabilitation program, I received 56 photos and 7 videos. Toward the end of his training program, Rina and the staff took him on "field trips" to the pet store, home depot and WaWa. The field trips were to get Hans used to being obedient in frightening places as well as used to being around people he did not know. I picked Hans up on August 8, 2019. On pickup day, I spent a while with Rina as she went over a bunch of training info in order for me to continue his training at home. Rina went over all the commands he learned. Proper handling of the leash and how to correct him properly when the need arose. She also provided me with a custom book complete with detailed information about Hans and his training. As well as further steps to ensure Hans does not revert back to his past behaviors. Rina recommended that I take Hans out to a public place once or twice a week to somewhere like Home Depot or the pet store. It has now been almost a month since I picked Hans up from his rehabilitation program. I have noticed a vast difference in his behavior and general appearance. He seems to be happier in public and has yet to bark/scream at a stranger when on the leash under my control. I have taken Hans out to Lowes, Home Depot, and the pet stores in my area and he continues to show vast improvement. My overall impression/opinion of Central Florida K-9. I am extremely pleased with their professionalism and knowledge of dog training. Their facilities were clean and well maintained. There staff was friendly and welcoming. Hans was well taken care of during his 40 day stay. Most importantly, Hans came back completely changed. A job well done by Rina and the team at Central Florida K-9. read more

Please please please skip all of the other trainers and stick to cfk9. We tried a few different "trainers" for our dogs and things just continued to get worse. My dogs were fighting to the point where my left thumb doesn't fully function as a result of breaking up fights between my dogs. They were getting along for two years and then they hated each other?? Our dogs were marked as aggressive by our local vet and o felt completely lost before Rina. Rina took on both of our dogs and worked with them until they were comfortable. Even spending a few days just making sure cheef trusted her. Rina made us comfortable and changed our dogs life's for the better. I can't express enough to you what she has done for all of us. read more

Upon reading the reviews of others, I was impressed and thought this would be a good place to take my 5 month old Rottie puppy to begin her formal obedience training and get some socialization. I initially spoke to Roc and he sounded like he knew what he was talking about and I wanted my pup to share in this experience, but, boy was I mistaken. I'm not saying Roc didn't know what he was talking about because I didn't get an opportunity to meet him when I was there and as far as I knew he didn't interact with my dog, other trainers did. After ensuring my pup had all of her shots like Central Fl K-9 requested, I enrolled my pup in the 17 day Board and Train, which turned into 18 days because this weekend I was in a class. At the end of her stay, one of the trainers showed me some of what she had learned and then I was able to take her home. Immediately, I noticed she had an eye discharge and was wet on her right hind side. I didn't ask if she was given a bath as that was supposed to be part of the Board & Train. My pup was quiet on the ride home and I thought she was worn out because of the training and activities over the past 18 days, I couldn't be more wrong. My pup was happy and healthy when I left her with Central Fl K-9 and now she was returned to me sick. She wasn't given a bath, she had a cough in addition to the eye discharge, the whites of her eyes were now red, a skin condition had developed on both sides of her face and she has constant diarrhea. It's now been over 30 days since her stay, 5 vet visits and $423.90 later and she's still not healthy from this visit and did I say she still has this diarrhea for over 30 days now?! Needless to say, I'm not happy with my experience with Central Florida K-9. Once I found out what she had, I immediately called Central Florida K-9 to let them know what she had and to find out if any other dog had it, but, they said they didn't know of any other dog having it and they didn't seem to concerned. This illness is contagious and was obtained thru contaminated water. She is my only pet, was healthy when she was dropped off and was never around any other animal until Central Fl K-9. I'm disappointed and saddened by my experience with Central Fl K-9. read more

I highly recommend Central Fl. K-9 training facility for all your dogs training needs. I took my Pittie there for the Board and train and Ciara Valentine was amazing. She was very caring and compassionate and treats your dog like it's here own. She did such an amazing job with Poppy. We are very pleased with the outcome of his training. Ciara made sure we were kept up tp date on his progress, she sent pictures and videos of his training sessions and that made it a lot easier for us to be apart from him. Poppy got sick while he was there and Rock and Ciara took care of getting him to a vet and getting him his meds and we were so grateful for their love and care for our dog. The training and care Poppy received was absolutely phenomenal and give this training facility a 100 stars. The after help training that you receive from your trainer is a great bonus to helping when you take your pet home and need that extra reassurance from the trainer to help with little problems you are having. I will give Ciara a 100 star rating for her expertise and knowledge along with her professionalism in working with us as the parents and the pet. She is one amazing gal! We will definitely be using their facility when we need to board our Poppy and for any further training we feel our Poppy may need. Thank you Rock for your love of dogs and opening up this most amazing training facility. Joyce & Jerry Henderson read more

I have a 4yo pitbull that was extremely anxious, had low confidence, difficulty interacting with other dogs, and general obedience issues. I sent him to the board and train for 4 weeks. Rina was his trainer. The training that he received was absolutely phenomenal! Almost every day Rina would send me pics and videos of my dog and she would update me on what he was working on that day. When I picked my dog up there I could immediately see a change in him. He was more calm, obedient, and more confident. Rina walked me through how to maintain his training at home and gave me a booklet specific to my dogs training needs. Now when I walk him he heels, sits when I stop walking, and knows how to "leave it" and not get distracted. When people come into my home he is much more relaxed and he is even able to have doggy play dates. The whole team at Florida K-9 was amazing. They all knew my dog and treated him like family. I will definitely be sending my other dog there for obedience training. And both dogs are going there for boarding while I'm on vacation. I couldn't be happier with the results! I highly recommend Central Florida K-9. I would like to share a story about a therapy dog named Ben. He was a rescue chosen by Tracy, formally trained and handed over to a non for profit school to act not only as a therapy dog to ease students with high levels of anxiety, but also to promote the nationally recognized reading paws program. Tracy spent countless hours searching for a dog to fit our educational environment. When she found Ben she dedicated hours to not only train Ben but myself as his handler. Tracy goes above and beyond. Her technique is direct and to be honest most owners need training as did I to properly address the needs of their dog. I board Ben often and he loves seeing Tracy, Justin, Rock and Amy. The facility is top - notch! Ben and the other dogs are in a safe and nurturing environment. read more

We brought our German Shepard (Heidi) to Central Florida K9 to be boarded and trained. From my initial conversation with Rock to Justin bringing her home, I've been nothing but thrilled. I was a bit nervous leaving her there for two weeks, but after meeting Tracy when I dropped her off, I felt very confident and excited for Heidi. Tracy is super knowledgeable, friendly and professional. It's obvious how much she cares for all the "kids". (That's how they refer to the dogs, which I thought was cute) Justin was Heidi's main trainer. He sent me videos of her training. Which totally warmed my heart to see Heidi making so much progress. When Justin brought her home, he spent time with us and our neighbor's dog and showed us how to work them together. Since that day, everyday gets better and better. Any questions I have (and I have A LOT!) whomever is at the facility working that day, responds very quickly. Everyone there is so patient and helpful. We trust them so much that we will be boarding Heidi there when we go on vacation. I'm SO happy to have found this facility and I would recommend them to anyone! Definitely a thumbs up! read more

I can't say enough about Central Florida K-9 and Rina Sullivan, Rehabilitation Manager! I have an 8-month-old German Shepherd that needed additional training/help. I have owned 5 dogs over the years, 4 of which were registered GSD's. The newest GSD addition to our family, Cash, was a challenge due to fear, anxiety, and reactive behavior. He was afraid of regular environmental activity and noises that led to jumping, biting, and lunging. After 30 days with Rina, Cash came home confident and focused. He's no longer anxious and enjoys play time, walks and our training/working sessions. Rina and Jolyne worked with Cash daily, provided regular updates, as well as daily pics and videos. I always knew what was happening with Cash and his training! When it was time for Cash to come home, I met with Rina and Jolyne for 2 hours reviewing everything they worked on and more importantly, how I needed to work with Cash! They trained Cash based on his specific issues, personality, and traits. This is not a one size fits all training. They personalize the training towards your dogs' strengths! I highly recommend Central Florida K-9 to anyone that is looking for a professional skilled facility and team for training and boarding. I can't thank you enough Rina and Jolyne! Where to begin! I heard about this place when on the search for dog training. My dog had already done two training courses at Petco but he needed more behavioral training if anything. I came across Central Fl K9 and read lots of good things so my spouse and I decided to take a shot at it. Initially we went in for a evaluation. After the evaluation I already knew this was the place. The facility was clean, the staff was professional and they were serious when it came to safe training. Rina performed my dogs evaluation and ended up being my dogs trainer. My dog was recommended to do the 21 day rehabilitation program as he showed signs of fear and very mild signs of aggression. We took their word for it and booked it. Throughout my dogs stay we were updated with photos, videos and texts based on his progress. This was great because I felt like he wasn't so far and it was awesome to see his progress, field trip photos and to see that my dog was so comfortable with the staff. Leaving my dog for 21 days was probably the hardest thing I've ever done but WOW. Today we were able to pick him up and the changes I saw were incredible. My dog is another dog (in a good way). Right away I got to be hands on and see and work with my dog and the results were amazing, every dollar well spent! While picking him up we were also given a folder with everything he had learned, what we have to do to continue the training at home, how to's, etc. The dedication and professionalism truly shows at Central Fl K9. I plan on bringing my dog back regularly for daycare and when I need to board him this will be the place. I cannot thank all the staff especially Rina at Central Fl K9, you guys have hit it out the park and this is going to help our day to day lives and make life better for Sarge as well! Highly highly recommend! read more

CFK-9 when ABSOLUTELY the BEST K-9 training and boarding facility in the entire south. I have owned dogs my entire life, and have a fondness for working class dogs, and have experience with professional trainers from various backgrounds and philosophies. We have a 14 yr old labradoodle and a 5 1/2 yr old, 125lb Rotti. Our Rotti had major dog aggression, and was showing bullish behavior . He was rescued from a dying litter at 4 weeks old, and is considered a rescue dog. He nipped me twice when I broke up his dog fights. Two months ago he bit our 14 yr old labradoodle. Had my wife been at home by herself, she and Oscar might had been seriously hurt had she tried to break them up. My wife has always been somewhat afraid of our Rotti since he nipped me. His job is to provide important protection to our family, and he is also our pet. Needless to say it has been quite a journey with his issues, and it was about to end. We had to find a professional trainer who could fix him or we would need to put him down. The reality of putting our Rotti down left us in tears because we are animal lovers to the max. I called professional trainers and canine facilities throughout Florida and left messages. Three facilities returned my call saying they no longer worked with "those kind of dogs". My thought was they were ill equipped, or lacked the experience and knowledge to handle a full grown aggressive 125lb Rotti who dog fights, and nipped his boss man twice. Who could blame them? The 4th facility, CFK-9 returned my call. I spoke with Rina on the phone for about 30 minutes, and was convinced she, Rock, and the CFK-9 team were our best hope. Her knowledge, understanding, and willingness to hear me out convinced me to give it a try. I scheduled a 30 minute free evaluation of Jaws at the CFK-9 facility. Roc and Rina met us upon arrival at the CFK-9 entry gate. Roc is a gentle and soft spoken person, and was unfettered by Jaws pushy behavior or formidable size. Within 15 minutes of watching Roc talk to Jaws I thought Roc was a true dog whisperer. After 1 1/2 hours of observing Jaws, and interacting with him, Roc and Rina felt CFK-9 could easily correct Jaws if we were willing to partner with them. If we followed their instructions and tutelage, they felt Jaws could safely re-enter our family, continue to do his job and pose no threat to our labradoodle or other dogs in the area. We were so impressed, we left Jaws with the CFK-9 team that same day. Jaws had no idea his old "jig" was up. Roc had him pegged within 30 minutes as an oversized bully who was trying to be pack leader, and who was actually a "rescue dog" from being taken to early from his litter etc. The evaluation time was to also insure we would be willing, and more importantly capable partners in order for CFK-9 to be successful with Jaws. They recognized he was a big, potentially dangerous dog, and thus were very clear what they required of us what to insure our success with Jaws. They also guided us to the best food and nutrition, and best way to board Jaws at home including his bedding. As a result Jaws looks the best he has ever looked. We felt were in in canine college. I cannot express enough how AMAZING ROC AND RINA AND THE CFK-9 TEAM ARE!! Some people might think its too expensive to leave their dog at a TOP TRAINING AND BOARDING facility for a month of training and reporgramming. I can testify it is NOT EXPENSIVE at all and was actually a great bargain. A well trained working class dog like Jaws can cost $15k-$25K. Jaws came home from his CFK-9 training experience an entirely new and better dog. He is now a happy, playful family member who protects us without being an unnecessary threat to others around him. It would have been heartbreaking to put Jaws down. CFK-9 saved his life, and our hearts, when they enabled us to put him back into our family. The CFK-9 team were beyond amazing We will always board Jaws with CFK-9 where we know Jaws is well taken care of, and well trained. Regardless of what kind of dog you have, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you call CFK-9 to schedule a FREE evaluation, and meet their team with your 2 and 4 legged family members. Every CFK-9 team member is vetted for their experience and knowledge, and is properly trained in CFK-9 procedure and philosophy. I was also impressed with Roc and Rina's gentle approach to every canine at their facility regardless of how fierce or nuanced the dog presented itself. When you hear about "dog whisperers" you have found them at CFK-9 as every single dog in their care becomes their family. I can't thank them enough for saving our Rotti and restoring his purpose and loving place in our family. Thanks CFK-9 !!! Y'all are BEST DANG CANINE TRAINING AND BOARDING FACILLITY IN THE ENTIRE SOUTH!!! Alex and Nancy read more

After several attempts with other trainers I finally found a place that worked for my pup (10 month old Golden Retriever). Sarah and Rina worked with my pup, Gator, for 2 weeks through their board and train program. When the two weeks were up Gator came home a completely different dog (in a good way). Her old bad behavior is about 80% under control now and with more follow-up and home reinforcement she is well on her way to being a good girl! I cannot thank Central Fl K-9 enough! read more

I cannot recommend this. Tracy probably did well as a whale trainer at Sea World but her training skills of dogs consists of 100 percent treat training. But in her own words they are just dogs. After a 6 week puppy school, two board and trains and 30 days of daycare training my dogs wIll only respond if I have food in my hands. We trusted this facility and we left them for the second board and train which was 8 nights and $1000.00. When we came back to pick up our dogs all Tracy did was tell me how bad my 10 month old male was. I asked where he was and she said she put him up because he was fence barking at the other dogs which he learned how to do that there. When my puppy was brought out to me this kid had him hanging by his choker collar his feet were off the ground he wasn't on a leash he was just being brought out to me hanging by his choker collar which he hasn't worn since that day. We mistakenly went back for one more training class which we stayed and trained with them. When we arrived my male puppy that had been going there for 6 months started shaking out of fear so bad he ran out of the car. We had never seen our puppy shake out of fear before. We did get him and went to that training which Tracy taught and it was just pathetic she had us feeding them so many treats to do sit place and come in a space about 4 by 6 inside, this was something they learned 5 months before. After they got totally bored with doing that we went out to do agility. When she was teaching agility her fingers were pinched with food to get the dogs to follow. The problem with that was when my male pup was afraid of the like balance beam apparatus there was no instruction on how to protect him from falling off it is a good thing we learned that from the previous training school we went to because my dog did fall twice he would have been hurt if my husband didn't catch him. After that training my male pup pulled Tracy back to our car so quickly he was so desperate to get back to the car that he quickly jumped right in. I know to trust my dog and he was telling me something happened to him while at board and train. It appears to me Tracy did not like my male pup and he paid the price. Now $4000.00 later time to take my dogs to a new trainer and never ever ever will I board and train my dogs again. read more

We sent our golden doodle Mookie to CF K 9 because he was had bad manners and we had no idea how to train him! In just two short weeks, his trainer Rina has him sitting, laying down, putting down things that aren't his, staying, going to his "place" and so much more. The training far exceeded any expectation I had. She truly has a gift with dogs. I was confident that he was well cared for as we received constant videos and updates of his progress. I'd highly recommend this program for anyone who would like a well trained dog! Thank you so much Rina! read more

We purchased a German Shepard puppy from a breeder and were planning on doing training with them as well but after having a bad feeling and seeing some behaviors in our puppy and with them as trainers that felt like red flags we sought out another opinion and found Rock and Tracy and Central Florida K-9. They have been more than helpful and we have learned as much as our boy D! We have been a part of their puppy classes, board and train, one on one classes, and Tracy even came to our home to work on specific behaviors with our dog in our home and neighborhood dynamic. We are now in the beginning stages of bite work and personal protection training and we have seen such an amazing difference in our dog that we were fearful would not be able to be the family dog we had hoped for. They work with our kids and have made them as much a part of the training process and my husband and I. Tracy even inspired our daughter so much that she dressed as her for Halloween and wants to work with animals when she grows up. Thanks to their help, training, and advice our dog is well on his way to being a fabulous, obedient dog! read more

The staff is fantastic. My dog started classes at 12 weeks for basic obedience and is so well socialized I can take him anywhere around people or animals and he is friendly and well behaved. Under the training of Rock Galloway my dog has excelled in personal training and is a happy well adjusted dog.. I would recommend anyone that has a dog to use their service. They do such a wide range of training I believe there is nothing they can't help your dog achieve. read more

My high anxiety dog spent 2 weeks at this facility. I picked her up today and took her on a walk tonight. What a difference! My Turkey has confidence. She is happy. Tracey and Justin have done a fantastic job. Their energy and love for dogs is wonderful. We will be continuing training at home and any future boarding needs will be met by this extraordinary staff.
