Our Bella, loving her 2 week stay at CFK9

We boarded our pit Bull mix for 14 days while we were out of the country. We have never left our dog for that long and were so nervous about it. Bella had the time of her life!!! Christine and Angela sent us updates, photos and videos EVERY DAY! We looked forward to the daily texts. They made sure she had outdoor time, multiple long walks daily and lots of human interaction ( her favorite thing). They even did some therapy on her hips to help with her hip issues. My only regret is that we didn't find this place earlier!!! BEST BOARDING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Macy T. Dawg, loves visiting Central Florida K9. Trained by CFK9 for her CGC, CGCA and CGCU. 2 years as a nationally registered Therapy Dog.

Run your dog... not your mouth..... and run we did. This amazing K9 training facility has added another great event to their outstanding line up. This past weekend they added Fast Cat / Lure Coursing to their BarKour, Barnhunt, Protection, Obedience, Protection, Puppy training, Group Classes, Individual Classes and so very much more. The staff there is amazing and really is a well oiled team with great leadership. I personally have 4 dogs and am cycling though every event to see what each dog prefers or has a natural desire to be part of. I have 1 with a prey drive {great at Barnhunt and did well with Fast Cat, 1 that took to Fast Cat with speed and ease and another that ran it just to please me} This weeks add was the Fast Cat. 100 yard lure course. Couple of my dogs seemed to understand it immediately and some needed a second run to find their groove. That being said I have to say the team running the class was helpful, understanding, positive and most of all amazingly well versed in the rules of this sport and how to run it safely and efficiently. EVERYTHING these folks do it done with the safety and health of the dogs first. It took longer for the owners to get to the catch basin end of the course {especially us older folks} than it did for the dogs to run it. The staff was patient and there was always the next dog ready to go so downtime was minimal. If you have a dog, I highly recommend visiting these folks. The time you spend with them will return many-fold in a happier, healthier more bonded dog. Central Florida K9's tag line is "A leader in Canine Education" and it should be "THE leader in Canine Education". They have the resources to handle every aspect of canine training from day 1 puppy to adult dog behavior. They are honest and have the training and experience to back up what they tell you. Every dog is evaluated by an experienced trainer before you agree to a training plan so you are not lead into false expectations. These are well educated people, not just people with a liking for dogs. This place keeps adding cool stuff and I've heard dock diving is coming soon. Come on out and get some training!! Run your dog, not your mouth!!

I am beyond happy with the results that both Rina and Jolyne delivered. I brought in my two pit bulls, who had already been to a previous dog training facility. While they did get some basic obedience, they still were lacking in many areas. Kilo is a 5-year-old rescue pit bull who lacks confidence and has little to no socialization. Charlie is a 1-year-old rescue pit bull with bad puppy mannerisms such as mouthing and jumping and no impulse control. We brought Charlie and Kilo to see if we could get this situated. Rina and Joylne assured me they would work on these issues using various techniques to help the dogs mentally and physically. Fast Foward to almost 40+ days, and WOW, I couldn't believe the results. Kilo is so much more confident and enjoys going on his walks. I am no longer having to drag or force him on the walks. Charlie is way more obedient, calm and no longer mouths our arms or jumps. Rina and Joylene did such an excellent job with our dogs. At the end of the training, they taught my family and me the techniques applied to our dogs. Central Florida K9 has made my life much easier, and I can finally say that I have a balanced pack. I also want to point out the fantastic staff at Central Florida K9; every person I met at the facility was so kind and attentive. Knowing my dogs would be around loving and caring people assured me that the dogs were in a safe place. I genuinely appreciate what Central Florida K9 has done for my dogs and me.

We brought our dog Lily here for training and boarding and we absolutely love it. The facility is nice and the trainers are even better. Sarah and Jenn sent us daily pictures and videos of our dog learning new commands. They were great! Highly recommend!

Knowing our Cane Corso would need training, we took our puppy here. The staff are very attentive and the facility is top notch. Kristen did amazing with our puppy. She kept us updated throughout the process with pictures, videos, and texts. She was patient with us while we learned how to continue training. We're so happy our Brooklyn is on track to bring the best dog ever! She has little slip ups here and there, but hey, she's still learning and we are too. Nonetheless, we look forward to our follow up visit. Thank you Central Florida K9 and especially to Kristen. I'm sure Brooky misses you too.

The best dog training facility!! My dog had some behavioral issues and after speaking to RIna, she was able to draft a training program for my 2 years old dog. The training was 21 days long and during that time Rina and her team kept sending me several updates daily (videos and pictures). Today my dog follows all my commands (obedient) and our walks are much more pleasant than before the training. Highly recommend this place and specially Rina for any dog behavioral training.

Highly recommend! Excellent, caring, compassionate trainers (Tulene and Melissa) and staff who treat your dog as their own. A little worried when we dropped off our 1 year old black lab for their in residence basic obedience training; similar feeling to dropping child off at camp, but this quickly disappeared as we received daily updates that not only included photos, but also videos demonstrating our pup's progress. Upon picking up our pup from her residency, we were greeted with a very professionally done presentation. Added bonus! The trainers, knowing my husband was hearing impaired, ensured the presentation included closed captioning to involve my husband in our training education/debriefing. After the presentation, we were then instructed and given the opportunity to utilize the same techniques the trainers used for our dog's training by practicing on a "carpet dog" before using the techniques on our beloved pet. Once we were reunited with our pup, we were then able to practice under the trainers' guidance to help us gain confidence in the training techniques. The adage, "you get what you pay for'" definitely applies when it comes to the services we have received so far as the residency provides for 2 follow up training sessions to help maximize the education to both the pup and owners.

Ok, so here's the dealio on this business…read more.... It's known as PAC Dog Training. Ashley, is the owner and trainer. She lives near Mount Dora. BUT, she travels to you! Let me say that again, she travels to you. She can come to your home, meet you at a dog park, or anywhere your dog is having issues. She is the best! Not only does she travel to you, she brings her own treats for your babies and her price is so reasonable!!! She charges you by the hour but she isn't crazy expensive. I also like the fact that I wanted her to come a few times a week and she actually told me that my dogs didn't need that much training and that once a week or every other week would be fine for them. WOW! I found her on Thumbtack....It's a consumer service for finding and hiring local professionals. Thumbtack allows service providers and consumers to find each other and negotiate jobs online. I was looking for a dog trainer to come to my house. I received 4 offers. I was able to check out her page...see what she was about and read some reviews from her customers. I always use Yelp first but I didn't see many businesses and pricing was never discussed, which was a concern for me. So Ashley had been coming to my house probably 6-8 times since last year. My babies love her. She is calm and so sweet to them. They love her so much! I am sure they love her treats too! My Frenchies (2 & 3 yrs old) can now sit, stay, wait (this is when we hold a treat right in front of their face and they don't try to snatch it) and lay down. She has also helped with some potty issues that our youngest had. She helps us understand why our dogs are doing certain things and their motives. We rescued our doggies & they are Frenchies so they are stubborn to boot. So she helps us understand certain behaviors and how to correct them. One of the qualities I like most about Ashley is that she is very professional but very sweet. She always confirms your appointment via text the day before and if she can come a little earlier she'll ask and if she is running a little behind she'll let you know a few hours in advance. I also like that I can ask here questions or concerns I am having with my guys through texts or a phone call. I don't have to wait until our appointment. Which is a big help when something happens and I want to know why as soon as possible. I have only used her for behavior training but I know that she can do much more as well. So if you are looking for someone to help you with you dog(s), Ashley at PAC dog training is for you!

The instructors were all helpful and I loved seeing my dog's progress. We were diligent about attending and practicing. When both my grandfather and mother fell ill and died within 3 months of each other during the holiday season of 2024, I could no longer make the sessions with my dog. Truly they were forgotten during this time of extreme hardship. A couple months later when I could breathe again, I remembered our sessions and went to reserve a class but couldn't because my package had expired. I called and was told that nothing could be done, as this was the policy. These are privately-owned franchise locations, and the owners have the ability to create and revise policies to help their customers - it is their choice to take a customer's money in upfront packages and then refuse to extend any goodwill or flexibility. The classes I attended were rarely full. It would not have hurt their business in any way to allow me to utilize the classes I had already purchased. Looking at other reviews, they have a pattern of treating customers this way. If they had let me use the classes that I bought, I surely would've kept coming and even bought more sessions. But it's not worth it to me to support a business that treats its customers like this.

The staff is incredible, they are all welcoming, kind and so knowledgeable. They have great suggestions in fixing behaviors and ate always willing to help with different training techniques. I would still go weekly if I could, and I fully plan to take all of my future puppies/dogs here for training and socializing.

If you have a fearful and anxious, three month old puppy, which was stated in all of the paperwork, then DO NOT hire Pawfection. If you want your three month old, fearful and an anxious puppy to be labeled as "aggressive "after being blown in the face twice by a canister of CO2 then do not hire Pawfection. If you want your three month old puppy to get the piss, literally, scared out of him by getting blasted in the face with CO2, then hire Pawfection. If you want your puppy to cower against a window or in their crate, their safe place, but then get approached by the person that scared the living piss out of him with the canister of CO2 and try to put a leash on him, where he gives a warning growl, which then labels your three month old fearful and anxious puppy, who was just scared to death and approached in his safe zone by some stranger, reaching over his head to put a leash on him then hire Pawfection. If you want to sit through an almost 2 hour PowerPoint presentation of almost 90 slides of outdated information that you can find in the Internet, then higher Pawfection. If you want to be told what to purchase off of Amazon, after learning that she invested in Amazon years ago, then hire Pawfection. If you want to listen to them talk poorly about their competitors (by name), speak poorly of food companies while promoting a specific brand, or listen to anything negative that isn't related to them, then hire Pawfection. If you want to learn more about perfection and how involved they are with the industry and you want to learn how they can benefit if you purchase things off Amazon, then hire Pawfection. If you want your trainer to come 30 minutes late while your puppy is in the crate because you're told that the puppy needs to be in the crate during the first part of the training (keep in mind he's 3 months so his bladder isn't fully formed), then higher Pawfection. If you want a total of 20 minutes of actual interaction with your puppy for training, keep in mind a three month old fearful and anxious puppy, then hire Pawfection. If you want a "one size fits all, special sauce training", then higher, Pawfection. If a toddler were afraid to enter their classroom at the start of the school year, would you use a scare tactic to get them to do what you want them to and not address the fear and anxiety? I cannot speak for other methods of training or other dogs who need training aside from a fearful and anxious puppy, but if you have a three month old fearful and anxious puppy, then my recommendation is DO NOT hire Pawfection. If my dog was labeled "aggressive " (keep in mind what caused the cowering and growl) due to being scared in his safe place that was intruded, then why would they book us for a puppy play date at their facility with other puppies for the following week? I'm ready for the response as I know that it will be defensive, blaming, rude, aggressive, and no accountability is taken. I can predict this due to other negative reviews that were left behind and how the owners respond. But I feel that dog owners who have a puppy very similar to mine should see this review. We used zero of their tactics and zero of their recommendations. We found better products and better food than recommended. We found a different trainer and now our puppy is doing amazing and it's thriving. Perfection was a waste of money, but a lesson learned. Probably less than one star of that was an option.
