We also had another dessert, but it didn't strike the same cord for me. We shared 2 salads to start, a carsar with salmon and a Caesar with chicken. My daughter thought the salmon was done perfectly and enjoyed with lightly dressed Caesar. I thought both were great, and we did a good job sharing those plus a large build your own pizza. That was good, too, but a little slight on the sauce for my liking. I did appreciate the multiple sauce options, although we stuck with traditional. Generally, a great local Pub with good food. However, I am an older fellow who has an intolerance to CANOLA OIL. Even tiny amounts give me 3 to 5 hours of intestinal cramps and diarrhea, so I ask before I order, what foods are cooked in CANOLA OIL? I try to avoid it if possible. The answer, almost everything on the menu is cooked in CANOLA OIL. I thought I would play it safe and order a Pizza. Well, it seems they pre-cook the sausage meat in CANOLA OIL, without disclosing it. I wished they would use Soybean oil instead. Unlike CANOLA OIL, Soybean oil is a real food product, but it is slightly more expensive. As people age, their intestines become more sensitive to non-food products, such as food dyes and other highly processed GMO products, like CANOLA OIL. read more

The pizza is still fantastic. They have a great happy hour, M-F, 2-5 p.m. on food and drinks. The pizza and several other popular items are half off which is amazing! That patio has the greatest lighting! Just know that it is dog-friendly and called Mutt's, I'm assuming, for that reason. There are water bowls on the ground for dogs. My husband accidentally knocked into one with his foot, and the water got all over the ground, but no one made a big deal about it. I do think the cushions on the patio benches could use a good refresher because they had dog hair all over them, look more worn out/deflated/saggy. One part of the cushioned bench was wet for some reason, but my husband just grabbed another chair from the other table and sat at the edge of ours. It was fine. Indoor and outdoor seating (mostly covered). Super casual atmosphere. Food was good and decently sized portions. They were out of the noodles for mac, though, which was enough to make my picky toddler reject the penne replacement. First time at Mutts and won't be the last! We chose this restaurant, since it was pup friendly. Our server Olivia was great, she was patient while we were looking over the menu, and asked if we wanted to order a puppy patty (medium rare beef patty) for our Kiki. We each ordered something different and it was all tasty. The garlic parm fries were well seasoned, everyone's order came out fairly quickly. The covered patio seating was nice. Had a very jarring experience here on Thursday 5/21 as me my work friends typically hang out here for happy hour. It thought it was great establishment up until yesterday when an old man's dog took a poop in the middle of the restaurant! Not only did he not pick it up (wow the entitlement!) but the lack of urgency from the staff was very unusual. It took about 10min for them to action and clean up. We were baffled by the reaction to a giant dog poo in a middle of a restaurant. Like really?? This was the utmost grossest nastiest traumatizing experience ever at a restaurant. Love this place! Have been here a few times and had a great experience each time. We love bringing our dog and sitting on the patio. We ordered rosemary fries, paid extra for them, and were excited to dig in--only to find that they had exactly zero rosemary. Just plain ol' salted fries, dressed up in lies. When we asked the waitress about it, she confidently told us, "It's in the potato." ...Ma'am. What does that even mean? Is the potato spiritually infused with rosemary? Was it near some rosemary at some point in its life? Because it sure wasn't on the fries. Oh, and the entire place smelled like detergent. Like, aggressively so. I was looking at some of the reviews and just had to write this. Mutts Eastbluff is a great neighborhood family n dog friendly spot. I was introduced to Mutts Eastbluff about four years ago. It immediately became my go-to place. The food is great, the drinks are top shelf and the guess are (for the most part) like family. But the main reason I continue to go back is because of the amazing wonderful staff. They continually and constantly show up. I have watched them grow as a team, and have become friends with many of them. I have brought family and friends in and they ALL love it. Last year I had friends visiting from out of town and were went in three days straight. I will always recommend Muuts Eastbluff as 'the place to go'...!!! read more

Mutts is awesome, the bartenders and servers are always super friendly and very prompt with the food and drinks. The food is delicious (I recommend the quesadilla or the California dreamin burger). They have a large selection of beer and hard alcohol and always have seasonal cocktails which are delicious. Best breakfast potatoes in town! We chose this place because we were dog-sitting and we needed a place we "knew" would be dog-friendly. You sit outside with the dogs which is totally our preference especially when we get to sit at the bar to watch the game too. As a dietitian foodie, these breakfast potatoes are to die for! Was recommended by family to try out this place. I want to say that it is very modest on the outside as it sits in the corner of a Ralph's and CVS complex, but there is more that meets the eye. Its very trendy and "loungey" as you get inside, reminding me of Lisa Vanderpumps style from Housewives! :) We walked in without reservation around 630 pm on a Friday night, and they only had tables outside, but there were lots of heaters available. We asked to switch tables so we can watch basketball, and they were accommodating. We ordered the calamari per Yelp, and I understand why it's featured as one of their top foods. I like how it was paired with banana peppers, which gave it a good accent. It was light, meaty, and nicely seasoned. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which was delicious as well. It was a good size and I definitely prefer the sweet potato waffle fries over the regular fries. Each bite of the waffle fries were crispy w just enough salt. Even though this restaurant advertises itself as kid-friendly, it really isn't. We've visited several times and always sit out on the patio. Each time we've gone, it hasn't been busy. Because of that, we've let the kids color and play at the table next to us, and occasionally at the small table by the lower TV -- which honestly looks like it's meant for children. However, the manager always stands in the doorway, watching the kids, and the waitress repeatedly tells us that those tables are "about to be occupied," asking us to have the kids return to their seats. I would completely understand if the restaurant were crowded, if the kids were being disruptive, or if there were any safety concerns -- but that's never been the case. It really seems like the manager just doesn't like children. If our young kids are expected to sit quietly the entire time, we might as well go to a more upscale spot like Joey's or R+D. It's a shame, too, because our bills were usually around $1,000 or more each visit. We've since started going to Islands up the road, which is actually kid-friendly. read more
