    They don't want you to use the self-service, they want you to use their groomer. Ambiguous wording so they can pick and choose whatever rule they want to enforce without a clear definition of what is allowed and not allowed. No clearly defined rules on the website either so you don't find out until they tell you. You won't even find this notice on the website. This was pups third time here using the self-service, so very random on the enforcement.

    UPDATE: Mark V. (the owner of Mutts & Co) called me earlier. He was very gracious and worked with the Dublin location to get my dog's grooming fixed. The Dublin location was extremely helpful and I would go back to that location in a heartbeat (Hilliard - never again). I averaged my initial review of Hilliard with the 5 star review I gave Dublin) and bumped up my Hilliard review to 3 stars. Thank you to Mark and the Dublin location for being so accommodating. ----------------------------------------- With that said, I really don't like the centralized grooming line you have to call because it depersonalizes the experience. I think it works much better when the groomer can see the dog when they schedule an appointment. Also, I feel that the grooming scheduling is understaffed. Every time I call there I have to leave a message and wait for someone to call me back. If it costs a little bit more to have it manned with two or three people, I don't think anyone will complain about paying more because at the end of the day you have a better customer experience. ------------------------------------- I brought my five month old shih-tzu puppy in for his initial grooming. I ended up arriving 20 minutes late and the groomer was very inflexible, telling me that she didn't have time to groom my puppy but instead wanted to do a "spaw" treatment instead. I asked that they do their best to trim his puppy coat away because his underlying adult code is a different color. The groomer called me to tell me that my puppy had matted fur on his back paws and on his belly so she was going to shave those areas. What she didn't tell me was that she was going to shave those areas, clean up his face, but leave everything else untouched. If that was going to be the case, I would have not had them do anything to my puppy. $47 later, I got ripped off. I would've been much happier if she had shaved all four paws or shaved his entire body. It's not that time consuming or difficult. Admittedly, I arrived there late, but at the same time he's an 8 pound Shih Tzu puppy, not a 120 pound Sheepdog. Mutts & Co SHOULD schedule adequate time to accommodate for more difficult grooming jobs & also when people do arrive late. Instead my puppy ended up with a half assed grooming job. The groomer did not bring my dog out to me, but handed off that responsibility to the cashier - obviously because she knew she did a poor job. When I expressed to the cashier that I was unhappy with what was done for my dog, she told me that I needed to call the grooming line and schedule a second grooming session(!!!) However, they are backed up three months...that is unacceptable. Unbelievably, she also had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to give the groomer a tip(!!!) What she didn't understand is that since they did a poor job the first time, IMHO they're going to do a POOR job the second time, so I'll just go elsewhere. Luckily, I was able to call another groomer and schedule time for my puppy to go in on Tuesday, with a very simple directive: shave his body and his front paws so he looks normal and so that his hair will grow in evenly. One star is more than generous...don't piss away your $$$ - avoid @ all costs.

    Me and my girlfriend just got our dog groomed for the first time. Absolutely amazing made it very easy and very comfortable for us. She looks amazing. Thank you!!!

    If I could put 0 stars I would. Took my dog for an overnight stay. Within 24 hours of picking him…read moreup he started projectile pooping. The poop sometimes contains blood. It's been days and he is still violently ill. If my dog survives, I will not be returning. I am appalled at how sick my dog became from such a short time at this location. Edit to update: our dog was violently ill for over a week. We got the vet involved. I see another member commented about their dog being covered in pee upon pickup. This was also our experience in the past. Our dog's body doesn't drag on the ground when he walks.

    To start - this was not a very good experience with day and overnight boarding. (Nike Drive…read morelocation). Positives: The staff is faithful and nice. There is a video app to watch your dog. Our initial interview went well. Negatives: When I viewed my dog (a one and a half year old healthy puppy) a few times on the video, I did not like what I saw. My dog is under 25 pounds and put in the small dog area. On one occasion the staff put a much larger dog in the same area and I watched the large dog 'pester' and continually chase my dog who wanted nothing to do with it. There was one person in this area with the dogs and he took a bottle and sprayed my dog (?) who was trying to get away from the large dog and was pinned under it. I called and asked why he sprayed my dog laying on the ground underneath this big dog but not the big dog. He said that is their policy (?seriously?) so I asked that the big dog be moved out of the small dog area. I was not happy at all about this issue. Here's the short of it: We picked up our dog early because of this situation but she was still there 5 nights. I took her to be vet checked the day after our early pick up due to the fact she was hacking and sneezing and had a large eye wart on one eye (like I said she was healthy when dropped off). She was determined to have an upper respiratory infection, probably from being sprayed in the face. Now after one month she is still recuperating from this and still having nose issues. And the eye wart infection took 2 weeks to fade. I do not recommend your dog being more than 4 hours in this facility.
