If I could leave a zero star review I would have. By far one of the worst outdated communities you can live in San Jose. The appliances are old , the windows leak, the little amenities they had were not maintained properly, and the property management was rude and unprofessional. Homeless people walking through the community, construction workers taking up parking spaces this is not a place you want to live stay away from this property looks good on the outside but is a run down dump on the inside. We left our unit with no stains on the carpet (no shoes were ever worn inside) now they are saying we owe a balance for cleaning and paint which they need to do anyways after every tenant leaves. Mail gets stolen/lost frequently even after installing a new mailroom. We filed a complaint with the BBB due to the fact it's been over 21 business days and have not received a deposit or a report of the invoice for the cleaning. Our walk through with a greystar employee when we left was deemed perfect and there would be no additional charges upon our exit 10/31/25, it is now 12/1/25 and I am the one calling for an explanation on what's going on. I found Museum Park on a 3rd party app. I scheduled a tour, easily, online. I was even sent email reminders of my appt,...thank you. I arrived and found the Leasing Office located with 2 blocks of bus stops and 3 blocks from light rail. I entered the leasing office and was warmly greeted by a team member. She accessed my appt info and allowed me to tour one of the SoHo loft units. The unit was clean and ready for move in. There's an attached 1 car garage spot. And in-unit laundry. The monthly price was better than I hoped. I really want to view the Manhattan loft before I decide. Thank you for making this a great experience. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE OR ANY GREYSTAR PROPERTIES IF YOU EXPECT TO GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK!!!! KNOW YOUR RIGHTS! I lived here for 2 years and witnessed my fair share of property managers (3 within 2 years). I moved out May 15th, 2025 and spoke to the property manager about the process in receiving my deposit back, the fact I am moving to Florida and the fact I am the only person that is due the deposit since I (not my roommate) solely paid the security deposit. Legally, property managers have 21 days to process your deposit and provide an itemization of deductions. By June 6th, I still had nothing and I sent multiple demand letters via email. I spoke to the property manager again who said she sent it through to be processed by accounting on May 19th and she would reach out. At this point I filed a formal complaint with the BBB which resulted in some traction but still, no money. Being that this was past 21 days, deductions are now null and void which was acknowledged by Greystar's representatives... IT WAS ONLY WHEN I HARASSED THE HEADQUARTERS IN SOUTH CAROLINA THAT I WAS ABLE TO GET ANY TRACTION AFTER ABOUT A WEEK! At this point, the regional manager got involved who was able to get my refund link sent over to me rather quickly. Prior to me receiving my link, they communicated the amount to me that I should be receiving which was the wrong amount and I corrected them while providing documentation. They confirmed that, in fact, it was the wrong amount and said that they will be sending the first amount in one link and the remaining amount in another link via email. Wonderful. I receive the first link. When the second link doesn't come, I have to track them down to figure out what's going on. "You will be getting issued a physical check" because the payment link is only a one-time route. Great, I'm glad I asked?! Fast forward, said check gets lost. You would think that since they are well past the 21 days, the check would be overnighted or handled with the care of certified mail. Nope. Not at all. At this point I reach out to the property manager again and she tells me that it will take 30 days for accounting to confirm that the check wasn't cashed before reissuing another check...? She told me that if I can receive documentation from the postal service that they LOST THE CHECK, the process will be sped up..? Which makes no sense because if you have a bank account to issue the check, you have a customer service team that can provide a 'stop payment' on the check. My best friend was previously an assistant property manager at Greystar so she let me know this is BS. At this point I was at my wits end. I end up getting in contact with another corporate executive. Surprise, surprise, days later, they sent an email claiming that another link has been sent and they asked to confirm I received it. Within 8 minutes, I responded to them to let them know I have not gotten it. It was radio silent from all parties on the thread -property manager and regional manager included- for FIVE days. The regional then said the check will be reissued at the end of those 5 days of nothing.............. -_______- This time they sent it certified (yay). However, they managed to address the check to myself AND MY ROOMMATE WHO IS ALMOST 3000 MILES AWAY. This means it is literally impossible to cash this check without him present. My best friend (who I mentioned earlier) said he would have to release his right to the funds in order for them to legally put only my name on the check. A whole new process! To the point of writing this on August 2, 2025, I am still waiting for the rest of my money. This has literally been MONTHS and I have now resorted to setting up my day in court. I do not know if this is negligence, incompetence or just willful disregard but this is an expensive mistake. Save yourself. read more

Been here for almost 5 years and since Italy and Jorge came here it has been night and day. Italy has been super helpful and always on top of things. She's made the community feel way safer and family friendly. Jorge especially has completely changed the maintenance here. It use to sometimes take awhile to get things fixed but since Jorge came the maintenance team contacts you right away and he just gets shit done! Continue the awesome work! read more

This place has been through different management changes, but after 1 day late on my rent these scum bags put a letter on my door demanding payment or they are going to "quit" my lease. Just 1 day late. The rude and confrontational manager yelling over me went on to say there is no grace period, but in my lease we have 30 days to pay the rent or there can try to quit the tenancy with a $50 penalty. Ok, fine but I'm 1 day late with a notice with lawyer inuendo on my door. I live here with my family, and I told her I never have been treated like this with her disgusting attitude since I've lived here, all the other mangers are respectful and treated me like a human being. Her name is Samantha Norton. I am a respectful professional in this community and live with my family and have never missed a month's rent here. I have lived here through mailbox being broken into and they didnt fix it for months, we had to pick our mail up at the downtown usps and it was mostly lost when we got there. They have a package room now with everyone's packages in the same room so anyone can steal anything at any time they want. The office almost always never answers the phone and my family and I walk to the office during normal business hours and they are not there. They changed the locks outside my apartment and never gave us the keys, and when my wife asked for the key to our gate, they gave her attitude. We couldn't get into our apartment...and they are not there on the weekends, they are closed. What if there is an emergency like this? What kind of warm welcoming place is this? People might tell me I should move...no, how about they provide us with respect, kindness, and some respect for the families that live here. I work hard for my money and pay outrageous rent, this is my home. They own it but it is my home and I pay for it, I'm not some sort of slave that they can just treat us anyway they like. I'm not moving, they need the way they treat people including the way they train their staff to act like professionals. This company has really gone downhill. My apartment is nice and maintenance responds quickly to repairs or needs. Staff is friendly and courteous. Having a garage is a great plus to have in the city. My major complaint would be some actions and behaviors of neighbors which the leasing office has constantly addressed via email notifications. It's literally like living in the first year dorms. It seems that people have no clue how to behave and cohabitate as adults and community members. A huge concern is the amount of unsupervised children playing in the parking area/private street, but it seems that this has reduced with the leasing office sending out numerous notifications. My biggest concern is that there are so many large and unruly dogs and concerning breeds that are specifically listed on the lease not to own (ie. pit bulls, dobermanns, etc). A couple months ago a young child was bit by a dog and needed stitches. Last week there was a dog fight with several unleashed dogs. Literally happened shortly after the leasing office sent an email about dogs on the property. These are just several instances that have occurred with pets in the complex. There are 2 dog parks walking distance from the apartment complex, take your pets there during off-peak hours. Museum Park is very close to downtown San Jose and I understand that there will be at times graffiti, trash, and homeless people. But there are several graffiti tags that have been on the outer wall for several months and now there is a huge graffiti tag at the front of the building. It looks like someone tried to remove some of this, but it really needs a professional service to come over and hopefully repair this. For the amount of money we pay in rent, you would think Greystar would want to make a good impression to future residents. read more

We moved out in August and have yet to receive our security deposit back. They've gone through 3 different leasing managers in the year that we've been there. I've tried calling, emailing, and even showing up in person to try and talk to someone. They don't pick up the phone, email back, and their sign always says "will return at..." read more

The perks of living at Museum Park Apartments are the location (close to downtown/freeways/the airport) and the wonderful staff. I have lived at Museum Park Apartments for 7 years, and Sandra the Property Manager for the last few years has been the absolute best! She helped me so much when in March of this year I moved from a townhouse unit to a one bedroom after separation from my husband. It was because of Sandra and Nick (Property Maintenance) my move went so smoothly. Marcy (Property Maintenance) is so sweet and she works very hard every day to make sure the property looks wonderful. read more

I stumbled upon this place by simply driving by. I didn't expect anything too much. Upon coming onto the property , it was more than I expected. Each unit has garages, property is well kept and LOTS of pets. When I met the manager Brittany, I knew this was where I wanted to rent. She made the process so easy. She is a "one-man show" and lacked on followed up every now and then, but she was great. She is the cherry on top of why I want to live here. Small community, but worth every dime. read more

We moved in 2 years ago and things were pretty nice for a while until everything got worse after the management company changed. We were forced to move out due to the deteriorating environment and day to day safety concerns around the apartment. This was a non-smoking apartment and management stood by and did nothing to stop one of the tenants from smoking and having people living in the garage. And before we moved out, there were cars damaged by break-ins in a gated garage, and people climbing through the fences to get into the community during night hours. Every night there will be people roaming into the community to pick from garbage disposal areas. None of this give us confidence in our safety living in the community. During our move-out, we had the move-out inspection with the manager and was told there would be no painting charges as we lived there carefully and we called cleaning services after the move. On the final bill, we were still billed hundreds of dollars for the painting charges and management would play dumb about what the charges are. It's pretty obvious now that if you live here you would never get your security deposits back, no matter how long you stayed and how clean your apartment was. Before we had to move out, we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the great services of Kyle and Roman. Kyle was a great manager who now moved to a different property. And Roman was such a good supervisor, he helped us with all the issues we had and he was always kind and polite. He also tried to help with the security issues in the apartment. We were stunned to have learned that he was laid off by the apartment for doing a wonderful job. It's so sad to se a good community goes down like this. read more

We were drawn to the apartments because they fit the specs we were looking for, but once we met Sandra, we wanted to be part of this community. With her we knew any issues we might have would be taken seriously and addressed quickly. Once we moved in, we met Nicolas, and were once again so impressed and happy with our choice to live at Museum Park. Issues are always resolved efficiently and correctly. He even learned how to instal the ice maker into our freezer! You can't do better than this duo! read more

Great location, central to downtown and Willow Glen and easy access to 87 and 280. Convenient grocery stores (Safeway & Whole Foods) and local restaurants. The property is beautifully maintained with a lot of mature trees and very pet friendly which means there are dog waste stations everywhere. The lofts are spacious and have amazing floor to ceiling windows. Sandra the property manager made the process of moving in so easy and is super helpful and really keeps an eye out on the tenants and the property. Packages can be delivered to the leasing office which is nice due to so much package theft these days. The few times I have needed maintenance Nicholas has always been so friendly and fixed any issues I have within 24 hours. All the staff is super friendly and helpful as well as residents. read more

I've lived at Museum Park for several years. The apartment itself has been great -- it's quiet, comfortable, in a convenient location, and has excellent amenities. But I really want to give a special shout-out to our current property manager, Sandra. She has been just fantastic. She's responsive, kind, and takes resident concerns to heart. Several times, she has responded to my messages after hours, which I really appreciate. During Sandra's time there, I've noticed many improvements around the community, so I know she pays attention and really cares about making our lives at Museum Park as great as possible. Beautiful apartment, but management never disclosed that a 8 story Marriott is being built 12 feet away from multiple bedrooms. The developer, Urban Catalyst, submitted fraudulent noise & vibration impacts to the city, so now Museum park residents are in serious danger. One of the buildings could suffer a collapse due to the vibrational impacts from construction. They lied on the building plans stating the noise from 50 feet away, but it is really being built 12 feet from a number of bedrooms. Extremely upset at the situation I am being put into, as I would have never moved here if I had known that a 8 story hotel that could collapse the building was being built 12 feet from my bedroom window. read more

The maintenance supervisor Roman is amazing. He deserves a huge shout out. He is always working hard around the property and very helpful when it comes to explaining the issues of a work order. He always completes his work orders in a timely manner as well. I am beyond excited to see the fountain in the middle of the property working. Nice work Roman. Completing a lot of tasks around the property that other management companies turned their shoulders to. He also goes above and beyond by walking around the property at night to ensure all the gates are closed. You rock Roman, keep up the good work!! We moved out right when new management took over. The leasing agents are great but the company itself is a thief. Took all of our deposit when we left no stains or holes. Very disappointed - $500 for apartment and carpet cleaning? Not counting the paint...we now live in a three bedroom and pay less than that every single month. This was a two bedroom. read more

This 5-star rating is all because of the new maintenance guy, Roman. In the 4 years of living here I have never experienced an employee do so much for the residents. Roman has actually changed my perception of living here in a positive way. The previous maintenance people would forget about serious issues and make the experience of living here uncomfortable but Roman has completely changed that for me. He is punctual in completing tasks and goes above and beyond his duties to ensure that the residents are taken care of. It's an absolute joy having him here and the main reason why I would speak well of living here to others. read more
