Water was slow-leaking in from the sides as the flashing was rotted and poorly installed. These guys were timely starting with the first meeting. They showed up early for their scheduled installation time, and worked their butts off until they left. The project supervisor was here the whole time and actually came back out a few days later to pretty-up the inside walls where they had to cut and re-figure. They matched the roof tiles that had to be replaced, installed all kinds of wet proofing stuff (I am not construction-term savvy), and top of the line flashing and skylight from Velux. Their pricing was not low, but I felt reasonable for the professional work that was done and I would use them again when I need them for roofing/siding/shit like that.:-)

Thankfully,…read morehe was not injured but we needed the steps fixed quickly as the basement is where he does his laundry. I've seen contractors spend far too long on projects and offer overly large windows of time when they might arrive, so I had to research carefully to find a good one. Rob, from Giordano and Burns, gave us a specific time to expect him, and he showed up right on time. He gave us a fair price and a detailed rundown on the parts and labor. Giordano and Burns also enters a written contract with their customers so that customers know they can hold the company to its word and timeframe. I was prepared to have to sweep up any debris left from the job, but I ended up not having to because they leave the place as clean as it was when they arrived. Years down the line that stair support Giordano and Burns put in has shown no signs of weakening. I can relax knowing that my dad is not going to hurt himself on those stairs. It's difficult to come by a contractor you can trust, but I would use Giordano and Burns again any time!

I WAS REFERRED TO THIS COMPANY AS MINE PREVIOUS ONE HAD RETIRED AND WAS O LONGER AVAILABLE. This company IS overpriced and not very upfront on pricing. Their estimates we're done as a punch list with no individual pricing but just a total. When I questioned this I was given some silly explanation, aka, lip service . I feel they did it this way so they couldn't be shopped or compared. They work they DID was FAIRLY simple and did not take a master craftsman , as they sold themselves to be. New steps from garage into house, unfinished entry way steps. They priced them as new wood and used the old wood from the handicap steps that were there being replaced. The new steps are crooked, not level, or to code, and splintering because of them using old wood that had been drilled and nailed previously. I had them seal a newly installed entry door to garage. He used canned foam and leFT it all over the place , did not trim it when dry and also missed areas around the door. Messy, horrible work. I could have done a better job. He ordered latches for my Anderson windows. The originals were broke. He assured me he knew what to order, and he had plenty of time to get it right. Came here the day scheduled for all this work, with latches from big box store that they installed. Never checking to see if windows would still open and close. Well they didn't. I had to wait 3 weeks for him to get new, Anderson latches and come switch them. They were due at my home at 4 PM. I had an appt. and they were aware of this. At 4:30 I received a text saying traffic was a mess and they were on their way. I left , as I could not be late. I had them leave the latches and I switched them myself. The scheduled day of all this work they were due at my house in the AM. I was leaving work to meet them and let them in. They never called. At lunch time they still had not called, texted or reached me. I came home at lunch and still now workers. No correspondence. Finally showed up mid day and was still at my home after dinner and than complaining about how long they were here and how they still had another job. OVERBOOKED, OVERPRICED, SLOPPY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY . MAYBE THEY FELT THEY COULD PULL THE WOOL OVER MY EYES AS I AM A WOMAN? Just stating how I see things. I FELT IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO, writing this review TO LET OTHERS KNOW. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!

When they finally came out to look at the issues it was discovered my attic was filled with mold from the active leaks from their poor roof job. I had several engineers, roofing companies, insulation companies, as well as mold remediation companies state it was caused by the roof. The ridge vent was illegally done, stretched shingles etc and was not done up to code. They stated they would be back to remediate the mold months ago and have never showed back to take care of it. On the contract it stated if a subcontractor was used to install the roof they would be noted on the contract. They subcontracted this roof and did not have it noted on the contract. This is breach of contract... they also did a roof for a friend of mine and subcontracted it out and did not mention it in contract. Another breach of contract.... This roof also has several issues that need to be addressed from poor workmanship. It is a shame it has come to this but I have given you chance after chance to make things right. I have documentation for everything to prove their poor work as well as breach of contract. This should have been claimed in your insurance policy for repairs. Make "On Call" your last call is what their slogan should be. Spend your money with someone that stands behind their work. Not these guys; sorry John, you had your chance. This is not the end. On call came out, cleaned and dried out the basement, as well as cleared the drain pipe. They noticed there was a dip in the main sewer line and self performed the replacement from lead to PVC. With all that said, he worked with us and the insurance company to make the repairs, and was absolutely fair in pricing the additional work to upgrade our living space. I would absolutely recommend these guys for any projects as they can tackle the big and the small

Their pricing was very fair and competitive! They offered the GAF roofing system that provided what we needed without over selling the job. I had the pleasure today working with their foreman, James, and a fantastic subcontracted crew that tackled what initially started out rather straight forward but the original plywood substrate from the 1970's was in really bad shape - they replaced all of the needed plywood without issue and gave us a fantastic finished product and they left the house and grounds better than they found it! I'm completely satisfied and would highly recommend them for a roof replacement! Adam then followed up with meeting their gutter crew the following week and because I was not able to meet them, he FaceTimed with me so that I was able go over the scope of the project with their crew foreman and get my questions answered before work started! I was able to get down on the weekend to check out the completed project / they did a Fantastic Job with the installation. They were able to hide the mounting screws for the downspout straps and even filled the holes in the siding where the old straps were attached with color matched pop-rivets. They also did a much better job with the downspouts where they entered the drain pipes! This attention to detail made the whole project look Fantastic! Thanks for having such professional installation crews working with your company! We are totally satisfied with both the new roof and the new gutter / gutter guard installation! Thanks for a great job - your company truly delivered on all of your promises!!!
