Most importantly, when almost all the water pipes in the house froze in winter 2018 because the company that flipped the house completely neglected to insulate them, Joe saved the day by dropping everything and coming out to crawl around under the house and thoroughly insulate the supply pipes. All of these items were done at very reasonable prices and ahead of schedule. Joe keeps you up to date and informed throughout the process and consults you whenever decisions have to be made. Highly recommended!

He went out of his way to explain issues and did not try to upsell. In fact, he noted when he thought improvements were not needed despite it costing him potential work/money. He's so generous and helpful that I sometimes felt like I was taking advantage of him. I've only had him out twice so far but he seems to be someone of outstanding integrity and character.

Joe and his son were incredibly helpful, especially when we weren't sure which direction to go with certain decisions. Joe gave us honest advice about expanding our kitchen without ever making us feel pressured. Our kitchen is now open, bright and so much more functional. JWD really knows their stuff and is a contractor you can trust in your home. We'd definitely use JWD again!

Not only that but some of them did not even seem legit. My wife wasn't comfortable with most of these guys in our home. Finally I called joe delucas construction and maintenance. For one, we loved it was a family owned business, father and son. They were very professional, kind, and you could tell really cared for their work and took great pride in it. Now luckily for my wife who has no clue on picking out tile, countertops, cabinets and making it all look good together, Joe knew exactly what he was doing. He would give his opinions on what he thought would look nice and we trusted him almost immediately. Very confident man. And it was the best decision we've ever made on our home. Not only did the kitchen and bathroom turn out a million times better then we originally imagined the pricing was so reasonable compared to all the scum bags that came threw my door. So we saved money and I know for a fact no one else could have pulled off what he did and in such a timely fashion. He gave us a time frame of when it would be done and he was right on the money. We really appreciated that. He was always on time and reliable. Great guy, amazing work, outstanding contracting company to hire! I would recommend to anyone. From siding, to remolding, or even a simple maintenance job call Joe DeLucas! I promise you will not be disappointed.

From our first face to face meeting, Bob and Joanne Tilghman understood what we were trying to accomplish with our home renovation and they were excited about our project. As the work progressed it was clear that their entire team was enthusiastic about the renovations. The team presented us with an accurate price quote, a timeline that they maintained (despite weather related challenges and unexpected findings on our property that changed the excavation and foundation plan), consistent scheduled onsite progress meetings, workmanship that was excellent, patience with our intra-project changes, creativity in handling unexpected events, attention to detail and a devotion to accurate completion of our punch list. Without hesitation we would hire this team again for our building needs. We rate them as a solid 5 star enterprise. Leslie and Tim Abington

Mark and everyone who worked on the house were great. Mark did a thorough walkthrough before the job to let me know what was going to be done and what it was going to cost. He set up the days where the guys would come in and they were on time and everything was cleaned at the end of each day. They did a walkthrough with me after the job to show me what was done, and Mark called me the next day to make sure that everything was done well. I hope that I do not need to have more work done to the house for a while, but if I do I will definitely give them a call.

I worked with the Grimaldi team when I moved in to my home in southern NJ back in 2016. They did…read moresome joist reinforcements, remodeled a bathroom, covered fascia boards on my roof, and repaired cracked cinderblocks. Since then, I've discovered all the things that were wrong with the job - the latest of which was today: 1) They beam reinforcements broke through my upstairs floor, so it's not level and we've had to build over and around it since (they used a steel i-beam, so not able to replace or repair easily); 2) The cinder block repairs were unnecessary- what I needed was a foundation repair; 3) They broke boards in the floor while jacking the ceiling and did a shoddy job throwing 2x4 in place that wasn't flush with the floor; 4) In the bathroom, they didn't repair the toilet properly, so I had three wax rings and a toilet that was connected to nothing (started leaking into my ceiling last week, now getting repaired properly by a plumber). 5) When they did the work, because I paid Mark up front, what should have been done in a few weeks took about three months. He'd go for long periods with his guys not showing up before they'd come back. Having now done more real estate investing and remodeling, I recognize that he was probably upside down on cash flow and was doing jobs to keep paying his guys and slotting us in where he could. There are some other items, but I strongly recommend that you look for another contractor for any serious job you do.

When they finally came out to look at the issues it was discovered my attic was filled with mold from the active leaks from their poor roof job. I had several engineers, roofing companies, insulation companies, as well as mold remediation companies state it was caused by the roof. The ridge vent was illegally done, stretched shingles etc and was not done up to code. They stated they would be back to remediate the mold months ago and have never showed back to take care of it. On the contract it stated if a subcontractor was used to install the roof they would be noted on the contract. They subcontracted this roof and did not have it noted on the contract. This is breach of contract... they also did a roof for a friend of mine and subcontracted it out and did not mention it in contract. Another breach of contract.... This roof also has several issues that need to be addressed from poor workmanship. It is a shame it has come to this but I have given you chance after chance to make things right. I have documentation for everything to prove their poor work as well as breach of contract. This should have been claimed in your insurance policy for repairs. Make "On Call" your last call is what their slogan should be. Spend your money with someone that stands behind their work. Not these guys; sorry John, you had your chance. This is not the end.
