My hubby ordered three dozen of Murray's donuts for my promotion ceremony and we were both blown away with how good they were. Everyone at the ceremony enjoyed them and I had two myself! This place is supposedly well known for it's donuts and baked good, which most definitely smell good when entering this establishment, but surprisingly I've never had any of them. What we actually come here for is lunch. I've tried some of their other sandwiches like Reubens, swiss melt, and the like but one of their big sellers is the Sloppy Dog. This is a hot dog smothered in a big spoonful of chili, slaw, relish, ketchup, mustard, and onions. Great donuts but service is rude. Asked if they had apple fritters and they said they were out. Saw something that looked like fritters so I asked what those were, and they very tersely said "I told you we didn't have any". They were pineapple fritters which would have been nice to know but they didn't have to be rude. read more

I came through drive thru early Friday morning and this elderly lady was there working she was the most meanest nastiest person I've ever to accounter. We moved here from Ohio and have been looking for a good if not great place to get donuts. It was just by chance that we spotted this place. When we ordered we were very pleased with the service and the EXCELLENT taste of their donuts! This the BEST place in Sumter for the prefect donut!!!
