We realized we had the wrong place as we were about to head back to Silver City (about 10 mi or 25 min away from the heart of downtown). We decided we were still hungry enough to at least split something and are we glad we did!! Friendly people who work there, spacious yet down home feeling inside and outside seating (we opted for the patio as it was named after) that had a wood fire going and heat lamps so it was truly cozy! I am a Best Western's rewards member and the staff recognized it immediately. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. The parking is easy and plentiful. The room was clean comfortable, and spacious and had a continental breakfast in the morning it has the usual good stuff of a best western where you make your own waffles and have sausage scrambled egg and fruit things like that I have to say I was very pleased that the attention the staff made to making sure breakfast food was hot plentiful and available. They also suggested a couple of nearby restaurants for both breakfast and supper. I always tip the breakfast person and housekeeping too. It's an old school way of thinking and I hope you will consider adopting it. The room's all the space I needed and a Mini refrigerator, microwave but no coffee maker. What they have now in the breakfast area is a coffee maker that makes espresso... i did a double shot and added some hot water for dark roast americana. Everything was working just fine and very clean. As I said, I was impressed with the staff and their willingness to try to help me in any way that I could. I have stayed here for up to three days while traveling. Due to covid-19 they've had to defer some maintenance. When we first arrived we had to switch rooms for a minor window issue. He and his staff went above and beyond to "make it up to us." Robert is very friendly and a fount of local knowledge. Three thumbs up!

The air conditioner / heater was making weird noises and woke us up all night. The front desk person ( Annia ) was very unhelpful, doesn't smile or anything and seems not ti like her job. Won't stay here again.
