My sister and I squeezed in. They served a nice continental breakfast each morning and the rooms were nice. Marcos was awesome, so nice and pleasant. Great location near downtown. Not haunted btw. Plenty of parking. I'll stay again if and when I return.

The rooms are up-to-date, lots of character in the buildings, and amazing conservancy trust open space. When you walk in the front door, you feel like you're home. The rates were very good compared to all the other place and the location was close to everything we needed. The gentleman that checked us in I believe was the owner. He was very pleasant and welcoming, we had no issues checking in and checking out. If you watched from my video I uploaded and my photos the room was definitely remodeled. It smelled like brand new ikea furniture, the bathroom had granite countertops!! A full microwave and fridge!!!!The shower was also beautifully tiled! Did I mention the bed was sooooo comfy!!! Everything was squeaky clean and brand new. If you ever need a place I would highly recommend you stay there because we've stayed at other places and for a small town lots of stays seriously need a remodel! Room was on par and exceeded some Marriott properties I have stayed at. No pool or fitness room but only a one night stay. Sufficient and easy complimentary breakfast. Management very personable. I am a Best Western's rewards member and the staff recognized it immediately. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. The parking is easy and plentiful. The room was clean comfortable, and spacious and had a continental breakfast in the morning it has the usual good stuff of a best western where you make your own waffles and have sausage scrambled egg and fruit things like that I have to say I was very pleased that the attention the staff made to making sure breakfast food was hot plentiful and available. They also suggested a couple of nearby restaurants for both breakfast and supper. I always tip the breakfast person and housekeeping too. It's an old school way of thinking and I hope you will consider adopting it. The room's all the space I needed and a Mini refrigerator, microwave but no coffee maker. What they have now in the breakfast area is a coffee maker that makes espresso... i did a double shot and added some hot water for dark roast americana. Everything was working just fine and very clean. As I said, I was impressed with the staff and their willingness to try to help me in any way that I could. I have stayed here for up to three days while traveling. This most recent was overnight It's a old mining town with lots of cultural assets so I so its worth exploring, If they ever upgrade things i would recommend adding some grab bars even if they didn't one bathroom at a time.\nBecause even average seniors would benefit from grab bars. It's true that the accommodations are older (the sinks are in the room with you, be prepared), but the entire place has a charm that I found really cozy and sweet. Our bed was comfortable although I can't speak for other rooms. There is a bookstore immediately next door owned by a lovely gentleman from Scotland who is very knowledgeable about the building and the city. The breakfast had enough selection for us picky eaters and passed our coffee snob test, and you can't beat the location. While our paths never crossed with the staff for long enough to have a substantial conversation, everyone we met while in Silver was truly wonderful. The parking is street parking but we never had any trouble finding a spot immediately in front of the hotel or at worst beside it on a side street. I did wake up once on our second night to some noise on the street, but that was my only issue the entire time.

The bed was comfortable. Lots of contractors staying here which wasnt bad or good but some smoked pot outside at night and just hung out so going outside was a little weird. Sounded like an older property that had been remodeled and updated, but beyond the pictures you see online it was clear that it wasn't. We had constant trouble with Wi-Fi, was slow when it worked, and it kept dropping out. Mg ac unit was loud and annoying, could barely hear the tv. I had hot water in the morning, but my daughter did not the night before. Shower seemed especially gross. Pictures attached. No one was at the front desk when we checked out, so I was unable to address with him, but they did not respond to any of my communication communications about the property. $170 for one night and there were far better options for the money.
