We were so stressed with planning and getting everything dialed in and when we contacted Brian he took the steering wheel and guided us. The music playlist was perfect, from the opening song to the last song of the night. The lighting, the photo booth and everything was handled with a ton of detail. The first thing that stood out to me about Brian was his interaction with the wedding party and guests! He is so friendly and engaging. He also plans out games and activities for the wedding reception which is awesome! Guests are interacting with one another not only at their tables but across the room. As the photographer for this wedding, this made for some hilarious images of guests laughing and grabbing salt shakers. Plus, he offers a photo-booth with emoji faces and trendy sayings and that also adds to the variety of images and the experience for guests. When the Bride wanted a song changed he was quick to incorporate her request without disturbing the party. He tailored the volume of the music to suit guests throughout and everyone could hear the speeches during the sweet toasts! I'm a very outgoing and friendly person but it's not always the case that the DJ is as well. Brian completely deserves my five star review. Murphy's Bay Area DJ was completely professional through our entire process of planning music for my wedding. It also didn't hurt that they my have a photo booth as well as their DJ services, which my wedding guests absolutely loved. I had an aviation themed wedding and our venue was at an aviation museum. We had the ceremony outside in the courtyard near an active runway and then we had our reception inside the museum. At first when I was trying to find a DJ, I was really concerned about the DJ not having enough equipment for an outside ceremony next to a runway, where planes are taking off. However, Brian had all the equipment necessary for our guests to hear our ceremony, which made our aviation themed wedding much more authentic. I really appreciated that Brian played either exactly what I wanted to hear or music that was similar at my wedding. I am still getting compliments on how great the music selection was during the entire wedding from the ceremony to the reception. I can't say enough about DJ Brian, he kept me informed about what songs I needed to find and suggested songs that would be great to start the dance floor. He showed up early and had everything set up before guests arrived. All the music to the ceremony music, walking down the aisle, to walking into the reception and dancing was amazing and on point. He had kids from age 7 to the elderly on that dance floor dancing all night long. He's so approachable and kind that it was easy for my guests to not think he wasn't one of the guests as well.
