Valve cores half installed, tire pressures incorrect, terrible balancing, and damaged lug nuts are par for the course at this joke of a business. Negative 5 stars.

I personally have had two terrible experiences with the new owners/their staff and I will NEVER go back (unless Andy and his sister buy it back ;)). All but one lug nut was very loose after my tire change over; one was completely off and rattling around!! I am so grateful this was discovered before my tires came off as my family and I could have been very horribly injured. I gave them another chance, and this time they overtightened my lug nuts with so much torque it warped my rotors. Despite my calls to the owner and a certified letter simply requesting a refund for my tire change over (not even asking for the cost to replace my rotors or the cost to have my trusted mechanic safely install all of the lug nuts to their property torque) they completely ignored my letter and never returned my calls. Terrible customer service! Another lady didn't even make it a block and her tire fell off and she ran over it, which took off her bumper. This is only a very brief summary. Mr. Lube was excellent in years past as I took my vehicle there for 16 years, but ever since the new owners took over, it's gone down hill tremendously! Even the front desk staff is unfriendly and doesn't greet you. For your safety, and your family's, do not take your vehicle to Mr. Lube!! Consider yourself genuinely warned!!

However our engine would need to be replaced. They didn't charge us for any diagnostic and have since kindly said we could leave the car there while we figure out what to do. When I followed up why my vehicle hadn't been started he told me all vehicles needing service are checked in in the morning and then rack and stacked on priority. So I asked if I really needed an appointment and if I could have dropped off anytime during the week and was told, yes. Long story to say, appointments don't have ANY value. Nick later told me that I didn't need an alternator replaced but instead a new battery. He then sent a new estimate which was even more than the previous one. I felt like I was being taken advantage of and told him not to do any further work. I then asked what I owed at that time. He said that they changed out the battery and it was $400. They charged me $400 to swap my car battery...that to me is outrageous !!!!

I basically paying for them to troubleshoot my car..i could understand labor or parts...but additional inspection when you failed the first time. If this is normal than ill be wrong, but I'm just speaking my experience.
