The business hours posted are not accurate ~ often open late and close early. $115.23 for 18 roses picked up in the store on Thursday were literally drooping on Friday. Owner said that new roses arrive on Mondays and to come back after 11am; they were closed. I returned on Tuesday and was asked why I didn't return the roses!? When I told her what my husband paid, she said that she did not charge that much and would need proof. I pulled up the charge on my credit card. She was clearly agitated and pulled together a bouquet with the flowers she had available. It certainly did not equate to the amount I was charged but I just wanted to get out of there. It was understandable at the time and was my fault because I waited later then usually to put my order in so there was only a couple days left. Something did both me with this altercation Though. The two emplo on site were very condescending and rude whe the spoke to me and another guest who I did not know. I just overheard the conversation. at the time I chalked it up to them being stressed about the holiday and brushed it off Then a few days ago, I ordered flowers online and had them delivered to my wife on her birthday. I was called the day they were suppose to be delivered and informed they do not deliver to my wife's location which is approximately 20 mins away. I mentioned how I have ordered every year from them and never had a issued and the person on the phone got that same condes tone as my previous experience. She seemed agitated that I asked why they stopped and she told me it was because the cost of gas among other things And told me to call another florist who could accommodate me on same day delivery. This experience was terrible and I had to scramble to get something last minute. On there website where I ordered it did not provide any delivery limitations or guidence. Although they make beautiful bouquets, I will not use them again to order flowers because of how rude they are. I can only imagine the delivery person treating my wife how they have treated me on several occasions and I'm not going to ruin her special day by having to deal with that. He had quotes at the ready for the specific flowers I asked about. The bouquet came with a free card and envelope that he put in a pic on the arrangement. Such a wide variety of gorgeous plants. The bouquet was right within my price range, and arranged professionally. Love supporting a small local business like this! I ended up going to Bryan's to see Andy and he was extremely friendly, great customer service skills, and he listens as you explain what you want. I knew it would be original for I wanted all the hydrangeas in-house. They were white, so he said he had an idea and asked him to throw in another color, but low key to just add pop. When I arrived to pick it up, I was amazed at what he created for or new grandbaby Chase. I asked him to finish it off with a Hallmark Happiness Rainbow ornament in the shape of a heart. I will only use Andy and his wife for all my floral needs. They are great owners and really focus on customer satisfaction. Great value for what was created. I have also posted pictures!

Driving over, I had noticed a floral shop right down the street, and around the corner, so that is where we headed. Petals and Glass has a small and unassuming storefront on W. 8th Street in western Cincinnati. The storefront can fool you, because it has a lot of stuff in the window and looks a bit cluttered. This is deceiving because the building is so deep, it allows them the space to process all of their orders. Often, we talk about "going/shopping local". This place is a locally owned florist shop, struggling to keep a foothold against the big supermarket chains. We asked for a nice spree of flowers to take back. The owner came out with a nice bouquet and a free bottle of water to fill the metal vase at the gravesite...for $10 bucks. We then chatted a bit longer. I was so impressed with their amicable service that I set up an account to handle all of our out of town floral needs (the occasional funeral, get well flowers, or graduation needs). They can ship flowers anywhere in the U.S. If you get a chance, try out this local, neighborhood committed, full service floral business. They do great work!

I first met Evelyn of Eve Floral Co at a Yelp event a couple years ago where we arranged the prettiest bouquets. Months later after getting engaged, I knew she was the one for our florals. Consultations with her were always on point and she had the most thorough invoices with all the exact details I wanted at the wedding. My bouquet was perfect. Fast forward and we've used her for a Valentines Day arrangement and an anniversary bouquet. She's been professional and so, so kind. The perfect type of Boss Lady to support in Cincy.
