I visited Strike & Spare on a Wednesday night for a corporate event for my TN team. The staff was super pleasant upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for our bowling event. We had so much fun that we ended up extending our 2-hour event. We were surprised by how many activities they have in their facilities and can't wait to return to try out the last tag, bumper cars, and timer skating! On top of the activities, we were impressed by the variety of drinks offered at the bar and the quality of food. I'm often left unimpressed by bowling alley bar food, but Strike & Spare had an extensive menu to make everyone in our group happy. Can't wait to return!! Great place for team events, birthday parties, date night, or rainy day fun. read more

I does not have enough handicap parking or designated parking. And normally when you order a meal from a restaurant it includes a drink not charge me an extra $10.52 for three large drinks on top of my order! At the 300 bar and grill. Main Event has better food quality and price the patty melt hammered over cooked and burnt fries over cooked and over salted drinks 70% ice and flat. read more

Took the kids out. The lanes (sorry to say it this way) suck. The pinsetter got stuck six times and the ball return took five balks to finally work. Sure they added ten minutes but we were down a lot longer. WE EILL NOT RETURN AND WILL LOOK ELSEWHERE. read more

Stopped in for an impromptu bowling night for my husbands birthday. Staff were really kind and helpful! The inside was awesome. Tons of arcade games and activities to do. Skating at one end of the building, tons of lanes, food, etc. It was a little pricey, but we felt we got our moneys worth. read more

I don't agree with the 'have to wait in line for a drink refill' policy. I waited and held my entire bowling party's game up, which I paid hourly to play, for 15 minutes, while a very inefficient employee took 4 food orders. When I approached the manager about losing 15 minutes of my bowling time because of this policy, she offered no solution and reiterated the policy. I'll be going to one of the other lanes next time. They are better, anyway! read more

Ive been here a few times and have had decent experiences. This last one just wasnt it. Just felt like a bit of false advertising. There was a sign that had an infinity sign next to the word bowling with different options underneath. After reading this, my assumption was that it was unlimited bowling. What i didnt expect was to be surprised with selecting the option on the sign at the counter for the sunday 12-close for bowling, a pizza and pitcher of soda for $64 and change to be only for an hour. I just wish the staff was able to explain this when purchasing the package. When I brought it to their attention, the lady at the counter just made me feel stupid for not knowing it was only an hour. I pointed it out that it didnt say only an hour and that it showed the unlimited sign. I didnt feel as if my concern was addressed. I am indecisive on whether I will come back. Ive had great experiences before but just felt a bit slighted this time. Im not sure if i will choose to bowl here next time. read more

I absolutely love this place and the staff! My son is on the spectrum and we went and got wristbands for his birthday! Marlee and Kiley went out of their way to make him feel so special today! I would totally recommend and will definitely be going back! read more

So i was in town and decided to take my 8 year old daughters bowling. First off the staff at the front desk never engaged us it took me asking "do you work here?" To get a lane. We got a lane for 90 minutes for $67 which is absoluto insane. On top of that out balls got stuck twice for 10 minutes so ultimately we only were able to bowl 2 games. After doing some research srike n spare is a franchise so i am going to the source. Lets be realistic these places don't care so as painful as it is the only way to make things acceptable is by boycotting these busniesses. If you think you should drop 200 bucks to bowl then this is the perfect place for you. The idea of iconic places that kids and parents can go and have a good time without going bankrupt iss now gone. Strike and Spare, mainit event, dave and Buste only care to daing as much as possible. The topper of the night bartender could only wait on one person at a time so after i got an initial drink. I stopped since it would effect our time. I am absolutely blown away people take this shit it should dir with the rest of the mall! read more

It was awesome there was a lot of things to do there like laser tag and skating there was a ton of prizes there, however some of the bowling allies were kinda broken and it would take like a minute for my bowling ball to come back but overall it was pretty fun read more

I avoid newly opened businesses because I want to give them time to fully train their people, work out kinks in their operations and overall let them get their feet on the ground, so to speak. I was excited to see the relocation and subsequent opening of Strike and Spare and looked forward to our visit. The facilities are modern and new (of course!}. The couches, comfortable, and the temperature, also comfortable. We enjoyed our visit, much better than my previous visit many moons ago in the old location. However, it seems mechanical glitches still need to be ironed out in the pin handling machinery. Several times, our pins moved after a ball came through and jammed the pin counter so that our score for the ball was recorded as "zero". The machinery jammed in the down position and we called for help to unjam the equipment at least twice. These are not major issues but they are issues nonetheless, considering that we have ZERO issues at another bowling alley that we visit. I'd rather bowl at this alley, in my city, but will not be a regular until I hear that progress has been made on improving the reliability of their equipment. read more

Murfreesboro Strike and Spare - Bowling Near Me - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

They gave us loads of toy worms! 10/10! read more

I was over at this Strike and Spare for a college night recently- I had a blast! I was able to skate in the rink and bowled one game. Spent most the night in the arcade... The person I wanted to give a shout out to was working at the Skates counter- I never got their name, but half their head is shaved and they wear glasses. I'm fairly certain they wore dangling belts, too. They were SO patient with me while my friend and I were finding the right skate sizes, myself alone came back and forth about three times. Rock on, my friend!! The free refill policy is amazing, by the way... huge thank you to everyone in the kitchen staff. So many people must have been tiring! Y'all are great. read more

Brought my son here for his 16th birthday party and not only was it affordable and fun, but the staff went above and beyond to make it an amazing experience for everyone involved. Great bowling. Great arcade games. Great pizza. Just all in all an awesome place! read more

This is where i normally come bowling just because they have discounts and specials pretty often and aren't as busy as the other bowling alleys in the area. It's old so it's really not fancy but it gets the job done. The staff is always very friendly and the food and drinks get made fresh which is a plus. We came today and had no wait getting a lane, but the first lane we were assigned to kept messing up so they put us on a different lane which also messed up a few times and had to be reset. read more

Loved the bowling and the skating if we could have stayed longer we would have gotten the wristbands since it would have been a better buy. The arcade section could use a little love. The claw machines seemed harder than they should haven been. We had 2 games take our money but the staff at the front were more than willing to give us our dollars back when we brought it up to them which we really appreciated. The game where you win tickets however seemed relatively fair and we saw a good amount of people with decent amounts of tickets. read more

Took grandkids there on New Years Eve. Impressed with overall appearance and organization despite the chaos from many kids. I was particularly impressed with the food service. All staff wore gloves. Food was freshly cooked and very tasty. I'd go there just to eat. Great selection. read more

I would give this place a 0 star if I could omg. We ordered our food and sat down and then almost an hour later we went up to see how much longer our food was gonna take and they said that they were "so packed" even though there was like no one there. Then it took a little longer and a little over an hour and our food was finally done but it was all cold. I would not suggest this place to anyone not even my worst enemy. I can't see this place getting my business in the close future at all. read more

Decided to stop here and eat before a movie. Took over 45 minutes for a burger and a patty melt. It was absolutely FREEZING inside. Tables were dirty so I asked for a bottle of cleaner to wipe one off. Three employees were just standing at the register chatting. They said they would send someone. After 5 minutes, someone came out and slammed napkin dispensers around while angrily wiping off the table--just one table! They left all the rest dirty! There are signs up saying they are doing lots of extra cleaning and sanitizing. We ended up being here over an hour and the only thing EVER cleaned was the table I asked to have cleaned. We hoped this would be a great place to have fun before and after movies but we definitely won't be back even though it is only about 20 steps from the theater. read more

We've been here three times since they've opened. We took advantage of a day out of school and purchased the wrist band special, which is by far the best deal for entertainment for the kiddos! read more

The bowling experience was not pleasing when it came to music being played. For New Years!!!! D for disappointing and I paid my money to reserve a lane...won't be back. read more

Got here for the first time during NFL playoffs season, so my first impression was a great one. They had giant projectors displaying the game. (I didn't really care about either team, but it was still cool.) They have things called "Summer Passes" for people who bowl a LOT! I started going here about every day and it is almost completely empty every time. I honestly won't be surprised if it goes out of business, but I may just arrive at the wrong times. Hey have an arcade, which is incredible. I haven't been, but the games look fun. They also sell food, but it's a bowling alley so it's nothing special. All in all, it is a great place to go bowling. read more

This family fun center is clean and has good presentation. From what I understand this is the old Sears anchor store at Stones River Mall. The place is well staffed and the employees are relaxed and helpful. I went with a group of over 15 people and they accommodated us efficiently without any major hurdles. We took advantage of the $13.95 arm band rate offered during the week for unlimited attractions. The attractions are clean and the main floor is spacious. Signs and logos appear to be airbrushed and hand painted on the walls, which is attention to detail not seen much anymore. There are lots of food options and drinks at the bar. The bowling lanes are well kept with fast pin setters and several balls to choose from. The lanes are waxed and the balls roll evenly. Laser Tag has good equipment and displays inside and out to show you scoring. There are several free for all and team game modes to play. The skate rink however is a bit small, resulting in tight turns and only the traditional 4 wheeled skates are offered, no rollerblades. It was also too warm in the skate rink area the day I visited. I would definitely recommend visiting Strike and Spare! read more

The employees are extremely slow. we had to wait at the lane for more than 30 minutes and return to employees three times to get the bumpers up and to reset the game when a bowler from the lane beside us threw a ball in our lane. Terrible service. read more

Very disappointing that ALL food and beverage options (except a vending machine) stopped over 2 hours before close. Upon knowing this, we tried to get a refund before we began to bowl so we could leave and go elsewhere but only vouchers to return were offered. The music was good, but there were 2 lanes of bowlers without bowling shoes on (Nike, Crocs, Vans, etc.), the run-up floor areas made bowling shoes sticky, and the staff was unpleasant. read more

We had a great time. Super fun atmosphere. Nice staff. Plenty of lanes. Game area where you can win tickets and redeem them for prizes.

This bowling alley is both over priced and the worst I've ever been to. The lanes are poorly kept and the machinery doesn't work. The pin setters do not work and knock down 3-4 pins every frame. If you enjoy bowling this is the worst place you can spend your time. We used multiple lanes and every one was worse than the last. For the price the pin setters should at least work. read more

First of all I want to say that the amenities are awesome here . When I got up to the food counter I was welcomed with a smile from someone that was having a rough first day at the job Brianna and she was by far the most nicest person Ive encountered . Her trainer not so much . Her trainer kept leaving her to tend to a line and she was pretty rude her face and attitude said it all that she doesn't like her job. She doesn't need to be working for customer service and I wish you guys would have a million of Brianna I think her trainers name was Ariel or something like that . All my family wanted to do was order some food and Brianna did the best she could trying to ask questions and learning as she goes. Now ,ms chasity was also awesome even attending the bar she walked around to teach ms Brianna some things now that is leadership and I thought that was awesome . So whom ever reads this my experience could have been a lot better the people that you have training need a refresh course on hospitality and training except for ms chasity and Brianna they were awesome . read more

Not the most technologically advanced or modern place, but still a great time! You can sign up for email coupons that will give you 2 free games for a child. (Ask at the counter.) Also, if you need to use the lane "bumpers", they will automatically go down for the next players turn! Maybe that's common knowledge, but I never knew! Haha Don't bother trying the food here. It's frozen food from a sisco truck. read more

We compared Lanes Trains and Automobiles to Strikes and Spares the next day. It is the new bowling alley who moved from the Broad street area to the old Sears building in the mall. It was no compare. Half the people there had no mask, the workers had their mask down over their nose. They put people next to you so it was easy to get balls mixed up and rarely did I see them wiping balls down. I brought my own Clorox wipes. We will not be going back I believe the name was STRIKES and SPARES. They were very unprofessional and they are not abiding by safety to keep their staff safe or customers. They should be bowling every other lane. We are having to touch others balls and some are not wearing mask while bowling that close to each other. Customer service was terrible. I asked the lady to put her mask upon her face and she refused. Then we had trouble and evidently they fixed it and did not come back to say anything. We wasted at least 25 minutes of our time. No one wiped off balls or tables. read more

On Tuesdays from 9pm-2am you can get shoes and unlimited bowling for around $5 a person! Great deal. The only thing that wasn't so great was that during the trivia questions the host was a bit racist, not surprising given that this is Tennessee but still unpleasant. As with most places around here, they treat you better if you're white. read more

A lot of technical problems with our lane, and when it was working it was pretty slow. We won't be back. Side note: they also play terrible music, but that's just my opinion. read more

A fair bowling alley, but there are some nicer ones in Nashville. However, if you're in Murfreesboro, this place will just do. I thought the vibe was weird the times I have gone (I don't care much for country music playing so loud that I can barely hear my friends talking), but they seem to have $1 specials during the week (this includes games, drinks, and beer). read more

I'm all for old school but they have some serious technical issues. We had to re-rack after every strike, had pins down that caused us to have to re-rack, and our ball got stuck a couple of times. We also watched an employee make some questionable choices when handling food. The supervisor is really nice but we probably won't come back to this location. read more

Nice place with plenty of lanes. Check out the cosmo bowling lanes downstairs.

I love this place! I am on my Middle school bowling team and we practice here every Thursday and is a lot of fun. The guy who works the pro shop (Mike) is very nice, educated, and efficient. Everyone there is very nice. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the lanes can be kinda slow, but other than that it is an amazing place. You should really go hear. read more

This place is awesome every time we go. They may have older lanes but they are way more accommodating than the new bowling alley. The staff is always kind and the manager Phillip is awesome. We went to lanes and trains and they quoted us 25$ for an hour and were only opened till ten. People bowl at night not during the day so what's the point of closing at ten. Oh ya and they only charged us 5 dollars all you can bowl for the whole night. read more
