We had my son's 8th birthday here and let me just say that it was the best location for a party by a ton. The staff rocked!! We had two party hosts, and they were so on top of it- their team even set up our table decorations for us while we bowled, they got drinks constantly for everyone, they kept it moving and were there to assist whatever we needed. They had all of our stuff in lockers or above to keep it out of the way until we needed it. The whole staff were great, fun and helpful!! Great place to bring your family for a day of fun! Super comparable to a Dave and Busters but with extra activities to do. I saw they have a small bowling alley and laser tag. There's also a restaurant to eat at with a bar for the adults too. My 10 year old son had a blast playing the arcade games! He especially loved the games where he was able to get the collectible cards and these particular games happen to give a good amount of tokens for you to spend at the shop up front. We also found that they price everything pretty fairly at the shop. Not like other arcades that charge an outrageous amount of tokens for cheap items. They have a decent choice of items ranging from candies and small toys up to some pretty large games or toys. Only spent $50 for a couple hundred tokens and that lasted us an hour or so! We came here for a work event. The staff was extremely helpful during set up. When we walked in I noticed how loud everything was, which was concerning since there was going to be a lot of speeches given during this event. but once we got to the room in the back we couldn't even tell we were in an arcade. We went for the first time last night. After we stopped looking for a quarters machine, yes we are old, the staff was amazing at showing us the ropes. Being old, we looked for Centipede and Ms Pac-Man but they were not there, so we settled for bowling. We had a great time bowling for two hours. The food was good, no complaints. Main Event Murfreesboro was such a nice, similar to a family fun center. Went on a Monday afternoon so it was fairly quiet and not a lot of people or kids there. The selection of arcade games is awesome. I think that games should have some kind of sign to tell which games you can get points back on your card. I do think that the credit prices and credits for each games were a bit outlandish. Some of them were 15-20 credits for a 1 minute game. Maybe also have games that give you credits back as well. Not much customer service, we walked past several members and were not approached at all. We didn't interact with anyone until it was time to go and we were looking to cash in our points. We were looking forward to the gravity ropes that was advertised for this location but they do not have it here. So if anyone is looking for that, it's not here. The bartender, Christina, absolutely does NOT need to be bartending at any bar. If paying customers are having a good time at your bar (not disruptive/disrespectful), you need to be able to have a good personality to cut up with them and have a good time. This was the rudest experience I have ever seen from a bartender. The main event is a super family friendly, exciting new spot in Murfreesboro! They have a huge arcade with the latest games. The bar/restaurant has massive TVs showing every game. They freeze their beer mugs for frosty draft beer! They have a bowling alley and laser tag! Also pool tables and tabletop shuffle board. There is space that can be rented out for parties and groups. Pricing for food and activities a bit higher than the competition. The large selection of arcade games means it gets LOUD, so you may wanna consider some hearing protection for those vulnerable. Disrespectful & Unprofessional Experience - Needs Corporate Attention I'm extremely disappointed in the treatment my group received at Main Event Murfreesboro. We were a party of nine enjoying a night out, but our experience was ruined by poor service and unacceptable behavior from the manager on duty--a white male named Michael Jordan. First, we waited nearly an hour for food, and multiple mistakes were made with our orders. Items were missing, incorrect food kept being brought out, and we had to repeatedly ask for things that should have been handled the first time. Then came the issue that made this feel less like bad service and more like targeted mistreatment. One person in our group returned an alcoholic drink due to the taste. I did the same shortly after. The manager came to our table, snatched my drink without even attempting professional courtesy, and sarcastically said, "Didn't you guys already do this once?" I replied honestly, "Yes, is that a problem?" Instead of addressing us with respect, he became rude and condescending, then refused to serve our table any more drinks--for simply returning two cocktails that didn't taste right. This felt personal. This felt discriminatory. We are a Black group, and it's hard to ignore the fact that this level of scrutiny and dismissiveness would likely not have occurred with a different demographic. We didn't even complain about the terrible food service up to that point, but the disrespect was too much to stay quiet about. I'm not one to pull the race card lightly, but the way Michael Jordan handled our group was not only unprofessional and aggressive, but completely unacceptable for someone in a managerial position. A simple acknowledgment of our concerns and better communication would've gone a long way. Main Event, I urge you to retrain or reevaluate this manager. No paying guest--regardless of race--should be treated like a nuisance for sending back a drink or expecting basic courtesy. read more

Now for the bad... the service on your food and drinks is AWFUL. Like really bad. Really really slow on a Monday when there's really not many people to justify how long it takes to get food and drinks. Ordered our burgers well done, they came red in the middle. Didn't comp it but gave 50% off, which to me is unacceptable. Waitress took my friends plate from him while he was still eating and didn't bother to ask if he was finished. Went on a Friday night 3/16 with my wife. Definitely a newer spot for bowling and games. The bowling process to reserve a lane is right when you enter on a kiosk. Super easy & smooth process. Then sent a text message to meet with a host to be taken to your lane. This place is so awesome & super clean. Prices on items and activities are moderate to a Dave & busters but definitely not ghetto and low on staff. Plenty is security to keep everyone safe. We will be returning to try some food since all we got were beers/drinks. Highly recommend for families or couples to enjoy a fun time! read more
