The service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely excellent. The pasta was perfectly cooked, delicious and well seasoned. They did not have Veal Milanese but were willing to make it and it was delicious. The Osso Buco Roviolo was out of the world. It was rich but so delicious. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items.

While walking our dogs, we were passing by Murano and we were happy that we stopped in. An old school vibe with an authentic Italian flare. The Osso in Bucco ravioli is a definite go to. Do not expect a dish of numerous small raviolis. It's one large single ravioli. While at first it doesn't sound appetizing, it actually is made extremely well prepared and pleasant experience. We recommend this one. The tripe and spaghetti with clams are also a great option. Even if you're not a tripe person, this is the place to try your first attempt at it...prepared with great flavor and the right texture. Classy service with a personal touch.

In these photos it shows their hours of operation and they had a menu for or through August 31, 2025...

Well, based on the reviews we were excited to try this place on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Based on Yelp and the official Web Site the hours were until 11pm... Unfortunately for them they were not open as posted, but Closed (pitch black). Sad for us, since we traveled all the way from NOMAD to find out... This was very unfortunate, but good news for us is we found a great spot a few streets away. So, if this happens to you, then head to Piccola Cucina and ask for Marco

Second time - even better than the first visit . I Had the Mushroom Risotto which was outstanding! My Eggplant appetizer was also delicious. We were five people and everyone enjoyed everything including the great service. Will be back soon!

Bolivar and Lino!!! Love them!!!

I am a local and I dine here at least once a week, and the food and service are absolutely impeccable. My favorite guys are Bolivar, Lino and Vuk the Managing Partner. Murano is a well kept neighborhood secret on a side street in Midtown East on East 56th Street between Park Avenue and Lexington. Little hidden gem!!

A Midtown East Treasure -- Murano is a Must! Murano may be less than a year old, but it's already setting a new standard for dining in Midtown East. The atmosphere strikes that rare balance of chic and welcoming--sophisticated without ever feeling pretentious. The food is outstanding: fresh, flavorful, and clearly crafted with both artistry and heart. Every dish I tried felt intentional, with bold flavors and beautiful presentation that make you want to savor each bite. What makes Murano truly shine, though, is the team. A special shoutout to Boliver, who was both bartender and server the night I visited--gracious, attentive, and full of charm. And to Vuk, the wonderful managing partner, whose leadership and warmth are evident in every detail of the experience. Their dedication is what makes Murano feel not just like a great restaurant, but like a place you want to keep coming back to. Eight months in, and Murano is already killing it. I can't wait to return (often)!

Check-in was quick and easy, and even though it was a full house for a Saturday night, we were still able to find seats without an issue. The space was definitely lively and a bit crowded, but there was still enough room to move around comfortably. Our bartender was really sweet and made great drinks , the cranberry vodka and Long Island were both spot on. We didn't pay extra for the additional glasses to smash, but the six cups included were enough to make the experience fun and satisfying for a casual night. I can see why people would want to buy a full bucket though as it definitely adds to the excitement. The crowd was respectful, and the bathrooms were decently clean, which is always a plus. Overall, a great spot for an stress-relieving, spontaneous night out!

I had the good fortune of being taken care of by Adam, the owner, an extremely welcoming and knowledgeable host. The bourbon selection is absolutely 10/10. The mozzarella sticks said 5 of them but we got four of them. They were good none the less. ::bathroom alert:: Very clean bathroom. I was very happy about this because I had just ate. There was tons of soap, it smelled nice in there. The beer and shot special under $10 in the city? Haven't seen that in awhile. The beers are super cheap here as well. They feel like old NY prices! Can't complain. They have four booths in the back maybe it was three. I did notice one of the hanging lights was from an 80s pizza hut joint. Letting you know now the paper towels for your face at the table felt like jail toliet paper, very rough. The bar doesn't have bar stools with backs! You either need to get one or two tables by their mini kitchen, very hot there not recommended for preimenopause or menopausal women or one of the booths. This is a great bar they played 60s music a lot. Heard some weird al too! Very random and fun place to be. The bartender was nice as well as security! Try the burger! Worth the $9!!

The energy is right there, hovering, but it never actually lands. It's giving "almost iconic" but not quite--like a party that never fully starts. And that's what gets me. Because this bar could EASILY be that spot. The kind people plan their week around. Where are the themed nights? Where's the drama? The chaos? Give me a reason to come back on a random Wednesday. Do a city-event tie-in, a holiday takeover, literally anything that makes it feel alive instead of just... existing. Because right now it feels like a missed opportunity wearing a cute outfit. BUT--let's talk about the one thing they absolutely did not fumble: the view. The VIEW??? Insane. Genuinely stunning. The kind of view that makes you pause mid-sentence and remember you're in New York and not just spiraling in your own life choices. It's carrying the entire experience on its back, respectfully. So yeah. I'd come back... but mostly for the view and the potential. If they ever decide to actually do something with this space? It could be dangerous (in a good way). Until then, it's vibes... just not fully realized ones.

The view is gorgeous and sweeping. The service is attentive and professional. The drinks are sophisticated. I ended up here because I saw a video about their gin and tonic. Sounds simple, but it's one of my favorite drinks, and I'm always looking for someone who can do it well. I ordered their "dear G&T" and it was a fruity, complex riff on my old favorite. I also got the foreign forage, "a bourbon smash with a mint zing." It was also a delicious take on a classic. They have several types of cocktails, all broken down by spirit and flavor profile. They also offer a lot of spirits made in New York State. They have cocktails with earthy notes, fruity notes, fancy martinis, and a section boasting limited edition and special spirits, if you're "feeling fancy" and wanna cough up 35 bucks instead of 20 or 25! They have a bar snacks menu (sliders, nuts, and the like). I had their thick cut fries and they were light, seasoned, and tasty. I couldn't stop eating them. Midtown or not, I highly recommend this spot, which also has a couple other locations, including Gramercy.
